Made reservation in Feb for arrival in May. When we tried to check in they had nothing indicating we had reservations. Prior to checking in tried to reach host about a couple different things and no response from them. Tried to reach host and management company to find out what was going on and no answer, Finally reached VRBO and told the person my problem and while I was on the phone the reservation showed up and she immediately hung up on me. The unit had nothing comfortable to sit on but the beds were comfortable. Very disappointing with the overall arrangements. Resort was noisy, with people slamming doors and yelling after midnight. Most of the shops adjoining the resort were closed and overall run down.

It looks like we may have experienced an unfortunate technical glitch or electronic disruption on our end. I am so glad to hear that you found the new mattresses comfortable! We actually just completed a full remodel this past January, updating the sofa, chair, bedroom furniture, and mattresses to ensure our guests have a great stay. Regarding the resort issues you mentioned, we always want our guests to feel safe and comfortable. The actual wyndham property was great how ever our room? Not so much:Mold in bath tub bought and put our bath mat down. Shower vurtain and bathroom in general was filthy.Air conditioner would not go below 75 degrees.Coffee maker made gross coffeeDishwasher flooded kitchen.Be aware if you get a room from jdam property

As always, it is great to hear from our guests, however it would have been nice to have received this information during your stay or possibly pictures. I had the unit inspected and there was no sign of mold or dirt on the shower curtain. As for the AC, someone turned the fan to on, not auto which placed additional strain on the unit, preventing it from cooling. As for the Keurig coffee maker, that could be due to the type of coffee pods you purchased, as it works as designed. After inspection, it was discovered that the wrong pods were used in the dishwasher but works normally now. Thank you.

We've stayed at Ocean Walk Resort many times in the past without any issues, however, this past weekend was a bit frustrating. First of all, the bottom park of the shower was loose which made it difficult to turn on the top part of the shower and when we called downstairs, we were told that maintenance cannot assist since we booked through a third party and since we did not know who to contact, we did the best we could to get cleaned up. Secondly, there was only two rolls of toilet paper available and we were four staying from Friday to Monday. When we went downstairs to request toilet paper, we were informed that we had to pay for it since we did not book through Ocean Walk. We've booked through VRBO in the past without any issues. should we have done something differently? Please advise.

Thank you for your feedback—we always appreciate hearing from our guests. Our maintenance technician completed a full inspection of the condo in early May and confirmed that everything was in good working order. I was also at the property the weekend of May 15, and the shower was functioning properly at that time, so I’m not entirely sure what issue you may have experienced. That said, I will have someone inspect the shower again to ensure everything is working as it should. We want to make sure all aspects of your stay meet expectations. I’m sorry if the limited supply of toilet paper caused any inconvenience. We hope that, overall, you were still able to enjoy your time at our beachfront condo and take in the beautiful ocean views, white sand beaches, and the resort’s amenities.

Beware! There's a reason they charge such a high damage deposit! They will find something to charge you for even if it's not legit! They charged us 400 for ashes in the garbage disposal and we don't even smoke! I even had photos of everything as I wanted to make sure nothing like this happened. They still refuse to give the full damage deposit back. And also watch out for the black mold in the shower.

As I explained earlier, everything is checked at each check out to make sure everything is in good working order. When damages are discovered on the day of checkout, unfortunately we must attribute that to the most recent guest. The garbage disposal was broken and leaking into the cabinet, as the pictures show. I value all my guests and their feedback. I am very sorry this occurred.

We Absolutely loved our stay!! By far the best place we have stayed at in Daytona Beach. The entire property is perfect! Great room, location and our son loved the waterslide and lazy river! Property has several restaurants that you can get to from within the resort and never have to walk outside! Would highly recommend to couples looking for a nice getaway or families with kids! We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful stay

Check in was simple and staff was friendly. Condo was nice and clean, just as pictured. Pool and beach were a breeze to access. If ever in Daytona again I would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful location and resort

This location was simply perfect! The pools and hot tubs on the grounds were wonderful, very clean resort, awesome location. We didn't see a better property around us. Loved it so much!

We had a good experience. The only issue we ran into was the “pricey” parking fees for the garage across the road. It was pricier than we last remember/expected. The rest was perfectly fine.

Over all the condo was great. When we arrived there were a few things that would get from normal wear in tear. And the housekeeps left trash on balcony but nothing that could be fix or easy to deal with so over all it was great. No complaints. Even gave us extra hr because we had 1 elderly and one handicap due to broken knee. So we knew it would take a little while long to get it clean up and packed up.

Beach Getaway Tradition

This was our fourth year staying at the Oceanwalk resort with our granddaughter. This particular unit was the cleanest most updated one yet. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect!

Our stay was WONDERFUL! It had the best view and was perfect location. Our room was very clean, and I loved how this was the first time we didnt have issues with water drainage in the bathtub. Loved this place.

Jeep Beach Weekend

I loved the property. Will definitely stay again in the future. Lots of pools to choose from. The unit we stayed in was nice and clean. Beds and pull out were comfortable. There was a brand new toothbrush and toothpaste which was a great surprise not something you normally see but there was no soap for bathing which is something that’s usually provided. Overall we had a great stay.
