Welcome to The Beach House — a warm, inviting two-bedroom retreat designed for comfort, convenience, and a relaxing stay close to everything Wilmington has to offer.

Located just a 5-minute drive to the World Equestrian Center, this home offers quick access to the show grounds while providing a comfortable space to unwind at the end of the day.

Inside, you’ll find two inviting bedrooms, each featuring a queen bed for a restful night’s sleep. Both bedrooms include Samsung Smart TVs and ceiling fans for added comfort and entertainment. The full bathroom includes a tub/shower combination and is fully stocked for your stay.

The cozy living room features a reclining leather sofa and side chair — the perfect place to relax after a full day. A Samsung Smart TV and ceiling fan add to the comfort, while a dedicated office desk and chair provide a convenient workspace for remote work or planning the next day’s activities. Fast WiFi makes it easy to stream and stay connected.

The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs, featuring an electric stove/oven, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, Keurig Duo coffee maker, crock pot, and a complete set of cookware, dishes, and essentials. The pass-through counter bar with four stools creates a comfortable and casual dining space.

A stackable washer and dryer are located in the laundry area for added convenience, especially during extended stays or event weekends.

Stayed here while in town for a show at WEC. Check in was easy, house was exactly as shown in pictures and was nice and clean. Host was great to deal with and went above and beyond to return an item we left behind. Would gladly stay here again!

Stayed at this property while in town for a horse show at WEC. The location is perfect and the place was clean and very nicely decorated. I've stayed at this owner's properties several times and they are always top notch! All the amenities you need. Highly recommend!

Great experience!

The property was beautifully decorated, comfortable and complete with all the toiletries etc you would need. The neighborhood felt safe. The owners were helpful and quick to respond to our questions. We were participating in horse shows at WEC and the location was ideal for us. Just four minutes drive. We will be back!

Stay was wonderful! The Beach House was super clean. Worked perfect for us for a stay during a show at WEC. Very close! Great communication. This is a house with two units but we didn’t hear the people staying in the other unit once. You have your own entrance. This place was perfect!

The property is a nice for an older home that has been updated. Very light, bright and clean. We had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children. Everyone had their own bathroom, which was wonderful. We had all the supplies we needed to enjoy ourselves. The location is great, within easy walking distance to the Central West End restaurants and shops. Note that there is an open stairway to the basement in the kitchen that cannot be blocked with a gate, so due care is needed with toddlers.Overall, ABODEbucks responded quickly to all of our questions. Just one exception. The 2nd floor main bathroom toilet had a leaky tank, which we reported to them on Tuesday. They asked if I wanted them to send someone over to repair it on Wednesday. I agreed that they should do so to prevent further damage. As of Saturday when we checked out no one had come. Otherwise, the company was very good about getting right back to me. Side note for anyone making a reservation with this property management company. They require a copy of your driver's license and also conduct a criminal background check. It's a little disconcerting, but presumably is done for safety purposes. I understand that there have been problems with short term rentals in the past.

Great Location

This was the perfect location for our stay and was very close and convenient to WEC. Heath was very accommodating and let us check in early. He met us at the house to go over all the details. The house was very clean and was perfect for what we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

We personally handle maintenance, cleaning, lawn care, snow removal, and guest support. Living minutes from each property allows us to stay responsive and hands-on. We chose this neighborhood because of its peaceful, safe setting, convenient location to the World Equestrian Center, and the opportunity to personally manage and maintain the entire cul-de-sac. Being just minutes from WEC while still offering a quiet, well-kept environment allows our guests to enjoy both convenience and comfort. Since we own and manage the surrounding properties, we are able to maintain consistent standards, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere throughout the area.

Because we also own and maintain the surrounding properties in the cul-de-sac, we’re able to provide a well-kept, safe, and thoughtfully managed environment that guests feel confident returning to year after year. Being just minutes away allows us to respond quickly if needed, while always respecting your privacy. Our goal is simple: to provide a consistently clean, comfortable, and professionally managed stay every time.
