Great place for some families

We are grandparents, 3 daughters & families… wanting to get together somewhere where we’ve never been. This is the perfect location & facility on Cape Cod.

Great place for a family gathering. The outdoor are was perfect for group gatherings. The pool was really big and very clean. We used the pizza oven and frozen drink machine. Easy access to beach and bike trail. Owners very responsive.

Perfect for Families with Adult Children

The three separate cottages were perfect for my family of four adult children and their spouses. Everyone had their own kitchen, bathroom, and space!The outdoor living spaces are designed to maximize fun, with plenty of chairs, a gas fire, and a wood firepit.A great place.

3 by the sea was an incredible property that truly made our vacation in every way. The communal spaces are amazing. The pool was perfect. The quiet neighborhood was idillic and being walkable from the beach made everything so easy. The house was extremely comfortable and well appointed. The hosts have thought of everything! We hope to return someday!

Family friendly

Beautiful property with well appointed cottages. Our large family loved the pool, outdoor kitchen and fire pit. The 5 children (ages 10 months to 7 years) were well entertained with toys provided. Highly recommend this property. The owners are lovely and super responsive.

Perfect place for a large group - great outdoor kitchen, and lots games!

Overall, this was a lovely property for our family reunion! That said, for the benefit of future guests, I want to share our experience with the pool.We chose this home specifically for the heated pool. There were other properties with the same number of bedrooms and interesting amenities (even ocean views!) for less, but we splurged on this one because of it.Unfortunately, the pool heater didn't seem to work properly for the first three days of our five-day stay. Even once it was fixed, the water sat in the mid-seventies for most of the day, peaked at 79 in the afternoon, and was already cooling off again by cocktail hour. That may be fine for kids or active swimmers, but it felt chilly for a group of adults hoping to lounge.The host was very pleasant to deal with and refunded the nominal heating fee, but that wasn't really the point for me. It was disappointing to have asked my family to spend more than we otherwise would have for a pool we couldn't really enjoy. To be fair, some of this may come down to my own expectations.My suggestion would be for the listing to note that the pool is warmest during peak summer months and that, even with the heater, it can't necessarily keep up with chilly nights. We stayed the week of Labor Day, and knowing that in advance would have helped us plan accordingly (in retrospect, we would have chosen another property).

I was very sorry to learn that the pool temperature did not meet your expectations. As soon as you let me know there appeared to be an issue, I contacted our pool company and had them come out as quickly as possible to make sure the system was operating properly. I also refunded the full pool-heating fee for your stay. Our pool heater operates while the pool pumps are running, and as the weather begins to cool (particularly when nighttime temperatures drop) the pool may not maintain the same temperature throughout the entire day that it does during the warmer summer months. I appreciated your suggestion that we make this clearer to guests. Based on our conversation, I have added a pool heating disclosure to the listing so guests considering an early, or late season stay, will have a better understanding of what to expect before booking. Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your feedback. We’re always looking for ways to improve our guests’ experience and make sure expectations are clear before arrival.

Perfect for families

Fabulous Cape Cod Vacation Property

My fiancé, extended family, and I just had a wonderful stay at this property. It’s *perfect* for a larger group, with three separate updated and clean cottages, plenty of full and half baths and beds/bedrooms. The common outdoor area is beautiful and has everything you need to entertain. Brianna and Brian were responsive, extremely helpful and just generally nice people. Everyone loved and wanted more details on the property. We hope to return sometime in the future!

Eastham June 2023

Property is perfect for a large group like ours (21)......very functional for sleeping arrangements and for meals, etc. with the common outdoor area in the center. The owner is more than accomodating and very pleasant. Pool is warmed nicely for this time of year.

Great Family Getaway

Had our three-family summer vacation at this wonderful property. Super convenient, well-located, and thoughtfully appointed. The pool is gorgeous, and the outdoor TV/fireplace were anchors for our evenings together. Appreciated the host’s responsiveness and the thoroughness of the materials they provided. Walking distance to the closest beach, 5 mins drive from a dozen excellent family-friendly restaurants. Will definitely consider going back!

Awesome Family Reunion

This property is exactly as depicted and was the perfect venue for seven couples. There was more than enough space for lounging around the pool and for enjoying our communal dinners on the patio. All the appliances were in good working order and the kitchens were very well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and cook meals. I highly recommend Three by the Sea as your family resort destination!

Fabulous time

This is a great property for a big group. Having three separate places allows for some separation but we’re still together. The outdoor cook area was fantastic and allowed us all to gather and play and enjoy spending time together. We loved the pizza oven. The pool is wonderful especially since the close beach was closed the entire week. Brianna was very available and helpful. We loved our stay.

Amazing from start to finish. Brianna was super accommodating given last minute booking. Lots of tips and quick responses to any questions. The property was great for our multigenerational family ages 1 year to 64. 11 of us stayed in the 3 cozy cottages surrounding a pristine heated pool with many lounges. The pavilion with bar, 2 gas grills and stone pizza oven served as the hangout area day and night. Games and s’mores around the campfire. Minutes walk to local beach and amazing sunsets. Close to Provincetown and restaurants. Mini golf outings were a hit. Can’t miss for family retreat or large gatherings.

Very comfortable

We rented the three houses because we had a team of 12 runners running the Ragnar relay race to Provincetown over 2 days. These houses were right in the route of the race. Everything was very new and clean and all three houses were comfortable. The location and setting were outstanding, even though it was unseasonably cool and rainy. The houses were well equipped, I only wish they had a few more pots and pans since we made a big dinner for 16 and that would have helped, but we were able to manage it. The owner was very helpful and responsive. Nice stay.

The overall property for a family of 14 was as advertised.Each cottage allowed for everyone to have space. The pool along with the yard allowed for activities beyond going to the beach.

Love the Cape and loved this wonderful home. Brought the whole family including cousins and grandparents and we were able to fit comfortably and get to the beach and then hit the pool almost every day! Really wonderful vacation experience.

Great Pirate Family Get-together

Property perfect for our 4 generation get-together. Very nice cottages afforded privacy when people wanted it and well-equipped outdoor living/cooking area great for group mingling. All very kid friendly. Lots of indoor and outdoor entertainment for youngsters. Pirate ship big hit with everybody. Peaceful neighborhood, almost no traffic. Owners Brian and Brianna couldn't have been nicer or more responsive. More great Cape memories for family that loves the Cape.
