We strongly dispute the accuracy of this review. The statements made are exaggerated and do not reflect the actual condition of the property or the events that took place during this stay. The home was cleaned, inspected, and fully operational prior to your arrival. The AC system was in proper working condition; however, during the stay, the thermostat was damaged by someone in the guest’s party. A technician was arranged immediately, but access to the property was ultimately denied, preventing inspection and verification. There were no leaks in the property. What was observed was normal humidity and condensation around the vent area, which can occur when doors and windows are left open for extended periods throughout the day. The bed referenced was in proper condition prior to arrival. Damage was later found to one edge, consistent with force applied by an external object, not normal use. The pool is professionally maintained on a strict schedule by a third-party provider and was serviced accordingly. Claims that it was dirty with visible debris are not consistent with maintenance records. The home is also adequately stocked with kitchenware, including items suitable for families and children, and the outdoor furniture is nearly new and in good condition. When concerns were raised, we acted promptly. After initial communication, the guest indicated the issue had been resolved, which led to canceling after-hours service. The following day, additional claims were made, but access was not granted for further inspection. In an effort to resolve the situation, a clear and immediate resolution was offered: the option to end the stay within three hours in exchange for a full refund of all unused nights. This was a one-time offer with a defined deadline. The guest declined this option and chose to remain in the property beyond that timeframe until almost the completion of her stay, which constitutes acceptance of the accommodations as-is. The timeline presented in this review omits these key facts and is misleading. At no point was the property unsafe or misrepresented. To be clear, there is no active investigation into this property. That statement is false. We take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-managed home.
