Seashell Cottages/JK Rentals - Cottage 1, 2 full beds, 1 twin

We are Seashell Cottages! We are located in the Heart of Old Orchard Beach just a few blocks off the main street that leads you to All that is OOB! On the property you will find amenities to suit your needs for a fun and relaxing vacation. We have gas grills and plenty of tables, chairs and sitting areas on the property as well. All units have a screened porch with chairs to relax on. We have an above ground pool, and gazebos to eat family dinners in! We also have a firepit if you want to build a fire and cook marshmallows! The walk to the pier and beach is about 3-5 minutes. That is where you will find all the action, late night bars, shops, restaurants, candy stores, ice cream, fried dough, arcade and rides! Everything to have a great stay without having to drive to get to anything.

We are also a 10 minute walk from the train station if you wanted to venture to Boston!

We are located close to the turnpike if you want to take day trips to Portland, Kittery Outlets, LL Bean, and much more!

Reminder- No pets, no smoking. 5 Minute walk to the beach. Beach towels not provided.
This is a cozy 2 bedroom unit with a kitchen that has a full size refrigerator, sink, hot plate to cook, with dishes and pots and pans for eating at home! Bed configuration is 2 full-sized beds and 1 twin. This unit is designed to sleep 5 people including children. We kindly ask that you honor our maximum capacity for sleeping. There is a kitchenette that has full-sized refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster and hot plate as well as dishes, pots and pans. Really- everything you need to have for a great vacation! All units have a screened porch with chairs to relax on and your own private propane fire pit in front of your cottage! We have an above ground pool, and gazebos to eat family dinners in! We also have a firepit if you want to build a fire and cook marshmallows! The walk to the pier and beach is about 3-5 minutes. That is where you will find all the action, late night bars, shops, restaurants, candy stores, ice cream, fried dough, arcade and rides! Everything to have a great stay without having to drive to get to anything.

This property was excellent!! Short walk to the pier and the pool was definitely a plus. When we were not at the beach we spent our time outside by the gas fire pit or on the screen porch. There was 5 of us in cottage one , 3 adults and 2 children and it was roomy enough. The owners are extremely pleasant and very hard workers..I would definitely come back to this property....

Great property at an amazing location. Property was only a couple blocks from the ocean and an area with great shops and restaurants. Only a half hour out of Portland allowed for easy access to that area. The owners Karen and Janet were very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

I loved the small cottage decor with the screened in porch! Also enjoyed the pool each day after time at the ocean. I thought the distance to the beach was good for exercise and the friendly feel of the place was great! Definitely recommend this place and hope to visit here again in the future.

Girls getaway /13th birthday bash

Perfect short family/friend getaway!!!! Property was clean with all the basic amenities plus a few added bonuses like overhead ceiling fans, fire pit, plenty of outdoor seating and more. It is also the perfect location to the beach, park, shopping, restaurants and more. We had a great stay. I would recommend getting to the beach early (like 9am), it gets extremely crowded rather quickly.

Friendly and accommodating

We had a very nice stay with Janet and Karen. Janet welcomed us when we arrived and provided friendly recommendations on good places to eat. The house was cozy and clean with the necessary accommodations to make it a great stay. We also met Oreo their dog. It was a great stay located within minutes of the pier and activities. Thank you.

We stayed five nights in cabin #1- family of four and our children are 20 & 15. The cabin was immaculate upon check-in; easily the cleanest rental unit I’ve ever stayed in. The cabin is the perfect size, with an eat-in kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. The screened-in porch is perfect for relaxing, drying beach clothes and storing sandy beach items during your stay. The property is so charming! The cabin has a very beachy vibe and the outdoor spaces are meticulously maintained. Each cabin has a small gas fire pit/table for cozy evening gatherings. Common areas include a pool, covered outdoor dining table, gas grills and a larger fire pit. The distance to the beach/pier/shopping area is a quick and easy walk- less than five minutes. It’s the perfect distance to come and go from the action multiple times per day; yet the cabins themselves are quit and peaceful. The hostesses are on-site and very friendly. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and given all the information we might need. We will absolutely be returning to the Sea Shell. It was the perfect beach vacation!

Great hosts, very good property

Janet and Karen were very accessible, responsive and friendly. They were really kind and generous to our kids. The property is very close to the beach, pier, arcade, amusement park, restaurants and shops. We stayed in cottage 1. The pool was great! Parking was easy. We even had friends come visit, and they had free parking which was really helpful. The cottage was a bit smaller than we would have liked, but the pictures were accurate. The bathroom was very small but clean. The floor was a little dirty behind the toilet. The kitchenette had everything we needed. The coffee was good quality. We cooked some meals in it, and it was ok. My husband loves barbecuing, and he liked using the gas grill. We had some trouble with the Roku tv’s, but Karen and Janet fixed them within 24 hours. I think this would have been a great stay if we hadn’t had so many rainy days, but the cottage is really small to stay in too long with kids on multiple rainy days.

Adorable cottage close to the pier

We arrived late afternoon and were immediately greeted by Janet and Karen. The cottage was adorable. Perfect for two adults, a 13 year old, and a 10 year old. The listing is accurate, as are the pictures. Things worth noting: The cottage has outdoor seating and a propane fire pit that we enjoyed at night. There is also a screened in front porch with additional seating and a clothes line for drying. The kitchen has a small table with two chairs, fridge, sink, toaster, microwave, and a hot plate. There is a coffee pot with filters, silverware, cups and dishes, and cooking utensils. The cottage also has a dish drying rack, dish soap, and dish towels. There are two bedrooms. One room has a three drawer dresser and a double bed. The other bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed. All beds have adequate pillows and blankets. Both rooms have tvs on the walls. The bathroom has a stand-up shower with shelf space for soaps and shampoos. Bar soap was provided, along with bath towels and wash cloths. There is a laundry basket for towels that Janet and Karen will replace as needed. The cottage was very clean and ready when we got there. There is on-sight parking available. The pier and the beach are only about a block away- less than a five minute walk. There is also a swimming pool. We did not use it, but it looked nice. Had we stayed longer, we definitely would have used it. We loved our stay and would stay there again, when we return. Thanks, Janet and Karen!

Wonderful Hosts!

Janet and Karen are great people and keep everything in tip top shape. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them and the cottage was perfect for our needs! If we get back to OOB, we will definitely stay with them again!

Great location

Just a five minute walk to the center of town. Carnival, pier, beach, and food spots. Space was a little smaller that expected for two adults and three kids but wasn’t a deal breaker.
