Property host very good communicator and accommodating of our schedule. Beautiful view and location off the main road. Plenty of space inside and out.

East Jordan Weekend

Shore Beats work is a lovely property. The grounds are well maintained and it is back far enough from the road that you don't hear road noise. The interior is comfortable and spacious. There were ten in our group and we did't feel crowded. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to prepare meals easily. Although there are many amenities to the property that we were unable to utilize due to the rainy weekend, we liked the huge outdoor seating area on the deck, swing and firepit. The host Cindy was accomodating and highly responsive to our messages - much appreciated. We would consider returning to this home again.

Very cute home right across the road from the East Jordan arm of lake Charlevoix. There isn’t a ton in east Jordan but you have a grocery store, dollar general and there are a few places to eat. We mostly cooked in or ate on the lake or in town. Boat rental is literally walking distance. The deck is awesome, great views and plenty of seating. Awesome fire pit too! S’mores by the lake is the best. We spent a ton of time outside but we had great weather too. We were Two families with kids. The downstairs was great for kids. Updated and bunks were perfect. Can sleep 5 comfortably. Upstairs bedrooms and kitchen are a little tight, esp bathrooms but it’s an older home and things were just done different. Living area is pretty large though with a huge sectional couch. Worked great for our stay.

This was an absolutely fabulous experience all the way around. The property is gorgeous with beautiful view of Lake Charlevoix, and the house is super cute and welcoming, inside and out. Cindy is an excellent host and has the entire home and contents available for use. We used the basketball net, the cornhole set, the fire pit...she's even got canoes available (although it was a cool, windy weekend and we didn't use those). We needed nothing, but had we, she's just right up the road and available for anything, and her communication is prompt, friendly, and thorough. I'd have loved to have a few more days, but if/when we have occasion to stay in the area again, this 100% will be the first place I try to book, because it's just great. Our entire party was thrilled with it. Thank you so much Cindy, hope we get to work with you in the future!!

Annual Trip to Lake Charlevoix

Thanks, Cindy, for your hospitality! We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautifully decorated, with an "at the lake" theme. Kitchen is well-appointed. We especially enjoyed the deck overlooking Lake Charlevoix. When we gathered at the house, the deck easily and comfortably accommodated our group. Most of the beds are comfortable (the mattresses on the lower level beds are a bit hard, but you said you're replacing them soon). Thanks, too, for your quick responses to our needs. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to visiting you again!

Great Weekend In Northern Michigan

We had a great experience renting Cindy’s property. She was an excellent host, always going above and beyond to make sure our weekend in Northern Michigan was enjoyable. She’s a great communicator and even provided a number of recommendations for restaurants in the area. The house was exactly what we needed, with tons of land for activities including a fire. I would definitely recommend Cindy’s property and look forward to renting from her again in the future. Thank you, Cindy, for a great weekend in Northern Michigan.

Best summer getaway!!!

The place is amazing!!! Just off the road, on top the hill overlooking the lake as described!!! Staying there for only 3nights is not enough as there is so much to do and near to places we would like to go. I could not find any property that could accomodate 16(adults/kids) thats just an hour away to the Sleeping bear dunes and Mackinac Island plus a lake just across it and a rental spot for boats/jetskis/paddle boards and etc. Everybody had fun and wished we could stay more. Cindy, the property owner is just the best. So easy to talk to and very accomodating. Replies very fast. Thank you soo much for making our family vacation a memorable one. Till next time 🤗

Beautiful property with great host!

We ended up staying as a very last minute reservation since we had been scammed on a different property and Cindy had a last minute cancelation. Cindy was absolutely the best host and was so accommodating. She went and turned the lights and air on so we wouldn't be arriving in complete darkness and sent photos so we knew what to look for and to find the driveway at night. We woke up to a gorgeous view of the lake. Her families property is beautiful with lots of space and worked perfectly for us. We started with a group of 5 but ended as a group of 12 and the house/property worked both ways and never felt cramped. There was plenty of room for the kids to run and play while the adults talked and caught up. It's in the perfect location and we never had to travel more than 30 minutes to get to the activities we wanted to do. We made so many memories that we actually ended up staying 2 days longer than planned. It's certainly a trip we'll not soon forget and all of us agree that we've found "our" place. We'll be back at least once a year to make new memories as long as it's available. Thank you Cindy and family for sharing your family home and allowing others to make beautiful memories there with their families and friends!
