We had a wonderful stay at this property in Big Canoe. Our host, Lindsey, was extremely responsive from the time we booked through the entire stay, making sure we arrived on time and promptly answering any questions once we got there. We stayed at the property for Christmas, and the house was beautifully decorated with a tree, which truly gave our family the feeling of being home.The home was very well thought out and fully stocked with cooking supplies and everything we needed. The spacious layout comfortably accommodated our group of 13 people. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Lindsey and Justin!

Host was very accessible when needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and whatever was needed. Bathrooms had everything you needed, soap, shampoo etc. Host had a great welcome package prepared with everything you needed to know. We had a excellent stay.View was wonderful!!!

The home and Mountain View was beautiful. The bathrooms were not clean, rings in commode. Hair was found in one bed. Spread in master bedroom had something on it that didn’t appear to be clean and the same with the mattress cover. There were no cleaning supplies so we bought them and cleaned bathrooms. Carpet upstairs heavily stained at top of stairs. Fortunately we brought group games since games were pool table and ping pong. Overall we loved the place except for the cleanliness.

This property is perfectly located in Big Canoe near the incredible amenities offered in the community and offers breathtaking views! The home is beautiful and provides plenty of space for a large family to make memories that last a lifetime! The well-stocked chef’s kitchen, the beautifully updated back deck with fire pit, pool table, ping pong table and foosball table proved that our amazing hosts, Lindsey and Justin, know how to give their guests the very best experiences! Their extra efforts and personal touches along the way made them feel like part of the family!

Quaint and cozy Christmas

This house is perfect for a family get together. We had a group of 12 and there was plenty of space for everyone. The house is beautiful and so quaint and cozy. It made our Christmas trip an overwhelming success. The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The beds, towels and linens were clean and comfortable. The location of the house was perfectly situated in the mountains yet only a few minutes for shopping, wineries and many great restaurants. We had a few questions for the hosts and they were responsive within minutes. We will definitely be back and very much looking forward to it.

Family Reunion

Nine of us were looking for a 6 bedroom house for our sibling reunion, not too far from a major airport, as we were all flying in from different locations. Big Canoe is a lovely community in the mountains with an easy drive from Atlanta Airport. The house worked out great - views from the deck are beautiful, especially with the spectacular sunrise. The kitchen was well stocked, which was great, as we wanted to eat most of our meals together at the house. The extra refrigerator in the garage was appreciated! Beds for everyone & private bathrooms for, made it extremely comfortable for everyone. The master bedroom is definitely "the" bedroom with space for days and incredible views. We were all very happy, though, as we were there to visit and only in the bedrooms to sleep. The community offers a lot of activities from hiking to paddle boarding/kayaking, etc. We rented a pontoon boat, which was great for the entire family. Swimming off the back of the boat and having a picnic onboard was a perfect family activity. The only disappointment was with the clubhouse, which was our only meal out. The service was horrible - the food not much better. Maybe an off day? Overall, a memorable experience. I would definitely consider renting there again. This was my first time renting through vrbo or any similar program and although a little reluctant going into it, was very satisfied, as was the entire family. Justin & Lindsey were great and easy to communicate with.

Solid Property

My family, consisting of 12 adults, stayed at this Big Canoe house. The home is in good shape and is described accurately in the listing. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are fine and the pantry had a nice supply of household items. We enjoyed the grill and the fire pit.

Fantastic Holiday Getaway

We had our annual family holiday getaway at this beautiful home we were fortunate to find. Our family has grown so the 6 bed/6 bath was perfect for our large family. All the bedrooms were a good size with space to unpack. The game rooms were put to use in the evening and when it was too cold to hike. The owner was friendly, so accommodating and quick to respond to all our questions and concerns. Highly recommend and would go back, most definitely!

This house was a great house to meet up with the family for Christmas! Great activities downstairs for the kids and people of all ages. The back porch was awesome to sip on your coffee and watch the mountains in the distance as the sun came up. Definitely hope to come back to in the future.0

Great Getaway with Friends

Justin and Lindsey were wonderful hosts. For 4 years, 5 senior couples have gotten together. This has been one of our most memorable trips. Having 2 bedrooms on the main floor for those with mobility concerns was perfect. Each couple also enjoyed having their own bathroom with each bedroom. There were some concerns that Justin and Lindsey addressed immediately and everything was copacetic. We so enjoyed working with them. Of course the setting was to die for. Even though we went after Thanksgiving and the weather was cooler, we had a marvelous time. A really nice touch was that their house was decorated for Christmas with a Christmas tree. Sitting around the fireplace with the Christmas tree in the background, playing games with friends made a perfect getaway. Thank you Justin and Lindsey for everything. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Wonderful stay and hosts!

We had our family Christmas here and had the best time. The kitchen was well stocked, beds super comfy and the teens/young adults loved the game room! Lindsey and Justin were incredibly easy to communicate with and were very accommodating. We made many memories that will be talked about for years to come!

Thanksgiving Family Getaway

Our family and future family(son’s in laws) wanted to get away from a very busy lifestyle and just rest, relax and enjoy each others company. This was the perfect destination to do just that. The house had stunning views and a tranquil setting with allowing everyone to have a clean , well thought out space for their stay. They house had everything we needed to sit and have a great Thanksgiving dinner. Even our pups were well thought of. I’m sure we will be back to Big Canoe.

Fall Fabulous

Eight women took their annual ladies trip to Big Canoe. The home had plenty of sleeping space. Four of the ladies had a room and bath to themselves. The other four ladies shared two other rooms with two beds in them and their own baths. The long range views were beautiful from the deck, living room, kitchen and main bedroom suite. The deck had plenty of seating to enjoy the views and beautiful weather.

The property was amazing with plenty of room for all our families. Lots to do with Ping Pong, FoosBall and Pool. The views were amazing and we enjoyed cool mornings overlooking the mountains! The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked in our breakfasts and lunches. We were very close proximity to the Tate House for a wedding so location was perfect. Driveway held all of our cars which is a big deal in Big Canoe. Lindsey and her husband were very good at communicating by text. It was a wonderful experience! We would book with them again if we have the chance!

Relaxing Getaway

What can I say other than WOW. The property was so beautiful with even better views. I was hosting some friends to celebrate my partners 30th birthday, and the kitchen had every I needed to cook for everyone. I think this property was great for our group getaway because everyone had their own room and bathroom, so there was privacy. The only thing that really caught us off gaurd was the steepness of drive. I am from Florida, so I didn't realize I should keep this in mind. Overall, I would definitely book again.

2023 Family Reunion

This home was a great place for a large group. Every bedroom has it's own bath. Plenty of rooms for smaller groups to gather, so everyone was not in everyone's way. Lovely view. We all loved the home and would go back the first chance we get.

Amazing Group Getaway

This home was the perfect place for our group of 12 friends over the summer. The home is clean, spacious, and perfectly laid out for large groups. Repeatedly throughout the weekend we comments on how well stocked and appointed the home was, especially the kitchen! They had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location is amazing, the view is perfect and yet you can still get to the Big Canoe gate and amenities very quickly. We would absolutely stay again!

Perfect house for large family gathering

We were in Big Canoe for my son’s wedding and had my sisters families join us. The house was perfect! 2 bedrooms on each of the 3 floors, so my father in law who can’t navigate stairs was able to stay on the main floor. Pool table, ping pong table and foozball table were fun! The view was amazing!! Convenient to the north gate which has a grocery store and ice cream shop.

We love our home, so we may be a bit biased. At the very top of the list are the long-range mountain views. We're not exactly sure how far you can see from our back deck, but we believe it's over 30 miles.
Other great aspects of the home include: 5 minutes from the North Gate, the Pool Table, Ping Pong Table, and Foosball downstairs, the amount of room to spread out and much much more.
