Desirable Kamaole Sands condo - across the street from Kam III beach. Great walkability – restaurants, groceries and amenities nearby. The home has been recently updated and refurnished to make for an enjoyable stay – new mini-split a/c, refreshed bathrooms, updated flooring, appliances and fresh paint throughout. Well organized closets/cabinets should provide the storage you need to be comfortable. Quiet and private locale with oversized lanai makes for great spaces to enjoy. The well maintained grounds and pool (2 minute walk) provide additional benefits to your stay here. Maui is always amazing and this home will provide an extra "ray of sunshine" to your visit.

The condo is exactly as it appears in the pictures. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that you would need. The owner was excellent.

Great place to stay!

My favorite thing about this place is that there is everything you will need and more! Beach towels, shade umbrella, wagon, snorkeling gear and the list goes on and on! Beautiful place and the owners are so nice and help you with whatever you need! Such a great experience!

Lovely beach condo

Our family really enjoyed our stay at your lovely beach condo! We walked to the beach everyday and enjoyed the restaurants, ice cream shop and market close by. Such a great location for families. Your condo is very nicely decorated with thoughtful details and is very clean!

Maui Girls Trip

Everything about this property was great! Walking distance to the beach and came with beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas. It was easy to accommodate 4 women on our girl’s trip between the master bedroom, pullout couch, and two bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again!

Family get away

We had our 9month old with us and it worked out great. Place was awesome, exactly what we needed. We really enjoyed the location and proximity to things. We like to explore a lot and felt this was a good spot to be home base for the week. Thanks again for a great rental!

We loved our stay at this condo. Had everything you needed and more. The owners were always quick to respond and very friendly. The mattress was great and the location of the condo to the beach was quick and easy. We would definitely go come back again in a heartbeat !

Clean, Comfortable and Quiet

The place is excellent. Very clean. Lots of amenities for the beach including coolers and large water bottles which were excellent for our hike and picnic afterwards! Bed was comfy! Lots of towels for the place and the beach. The hosts are very attentive and responsive and provided a great list of local restaurants in all price ranges. It was also a quiet location which was really nice as my husband and I went diving most mornings and thus went to bed on the early side!!

Hidden gem

Unit was beautiful and located directly across from the beach. Also, everything possible you could use during your stay was available. It was well maintained and grounds were in excellent condition. Owner was easy to reach during the entire process and kept us well informed. All equipment and appliances were in excellent working condition and there were no issues during our stay. It was a lovely unit and we would not hesitate to go back.

Fabulous condo, lovely decorating, all the comforts of home!

This condo was extremely well appointed, including an abundance of plush, high-quality towels, and bedding, throws to cozy up with on a very comfortable sectional couch, fabulous outdoor seating on the lanai, lots of kitchen, utensils, and dishes, including a brand new ninja blender for making smoothies. We have rented a lot of condos through vrbo over the years, and this was by far the most comfortable and well stocked unit that we have rented. The owner was lovely to deal with. I highly recommend this unit.

This property is so beautiful!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Kamole Sands. Tom and Shannon are perfect hosts. Their Maui home was so welcoming and everything needed to help make us feel like we were home.!! The condo is located in a quiet location yet convenient to beach and all of Kamole Sands to visit friends and family staying there, It was a perfect location for our family and our wedding guests to stay. We will visit beautiful Maui again, and when we do we will be sure to look up this condo again to see if we can go back to it for more wonderful memories. Mahalo

Everything we needed

The hosts of this condo unit did an incredible job of making sure we had everything we needed for our vacation. Quality beach chairs, thoughtful coolers and bags to make our beach mornings seamless as well as comfortable furniture to return to made coming and going seem just like home. The kitchen had all the tools for and the cabinets had just the right supplies for cooking in. Loved that they gave us plenty of laundry detergent! Our favorite part was probably the lanai (patio) though. Always in the shade, with super comfortable furniture, our family ate just about every meal out there. I also really appreciated how responsive the host was to any small question I had. Our family would highly recommend this condo!

The best home base!

My mom, teen daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Kamaole sands- 10 years aftero our last stay at the resort! Shannon and Tom's condo was so comfortable, with lovely updates and a huge lanai where we enjoyed coffee, meals and lazing on the couch, listening to the birds. Great access to Kamaole beaches, a 15 minute walk to the lovely Keawakapu beach and an easy drive to Wailea, the location is perfect and we enjoyed the comfortable king bed and quiet, peaceful space to relax after long days at the beach and pool! The kitchen had everything we needed for meals and the lanai closet was well stocked with chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. Hope to be back again (before 10 years this time!)

Best 1 Bedroom Condo in Kihei

It’s rare that I can say the host was as good as the property but that’s true in this instance. Shannon was super accessible via the app and gave great recommendations/tips during our stay which made it seamless. Property was fantastic top to bottom and very spacious considering it’s a 1 bedroom. The 2 fully baths were definitely a perk with our infant sleeping in the room and the Lanai was awesome and way bigger than most. I would definitely look to stay here the next time in Maui due to the host, the property, and location. All pros and no cons which is rare to say. Thank you Shannon!

Great stay!

We loved staying here. The sunset is seen from the Lani which we enjoyed. Just two small points we disliked. When arriving our sat nav took us to the back gate and we did not have the code. With two small children it was stressful. Also having to organize and clean as per the house rules was also stressful and felt the cleaning fee should cover the items we needed to do. Other than that it was a great apartment.

Please know that I send out an email prior to arrival that directs guests to enter from the main entrance on S. Kihei Road - the back gate code changes regularly and is given to owners/renters upon check in at registration office. I cannot control GPS directions thus I try to prepare guests for arrival as best as I can. Our check-out/clean-out policy is shared at the time the reservation is made and is part of our signed rental agreement, we believe it to be consistent with any vacation rental property that we've experienced - remove your garbage and food items, clean off used beach equipment, turn off a/c and lock the doors.

This is by far the #1 condo we have ever stayed. Host Shannon was very friendly and professional in proactive communication. Shannon has thought about everything and her condo was stocked with everything that you need, from salt/pepper, beach chairs/boogie boards, wagon wheel, towels, tps etc. Kitchen has all utensils well maintained. Super Walkable distance to amazing shallow sandy shore beach. Safe for kids sandy beach. We went to the beach every day. Restaurants are walkable distance too. Excellently maintained and spacious. We will visit her condo when we come to Maui again. Two Thumbs up.

The best Maui experience of my life.

This is our third time to the island, and I can’t say enough good things about Shannon and their beautiful property. Beyond the condo being incredibly well kept and up to date, it was stocked beyond our expectations (including a wagon which came in clutch for beach days). Shannon’s warmth and care was exceptional; I’ve never worked with a better property manager - even in a moment of stress (that we created), she helped us quickly and effectively. There was an immense amount of seating, which was so helpful, as we were here to get married and had lots of family and friends staying throughout the complex. If I could give her a higher rating, I would. This home will be etched into the memories we made here getting married. If you have this place on your shortlist - BOOK IT. Thank you, Shannon. I hope we can stay here again!

Comfortable Stay

This condo in Bldg 4 of Kamaole Sands suited our needs perfectly. Master Bedroom/Bath was comfortable with a soft bed to crash after a day out in the sun. The shower had great water pressure, hair dryer was powerful. Extras like Q-tips, cotton balls and plenty of TP were appreciated. We had several other families staying in other units in this complex and the living space in this one was far superior to the others. Nice sectional couch, chair, table for 4 plus three bar stools gave ample seating. Another sectional couch on the lanai was awesome for reading and relaxing. The kitchen, albeit small, has absolutely everything you’d need, including napkins, paper towels, aluminum foil, baggies, etc. Lots of dishes and glasses, as well as cookware. The lanai’s closet held everything you’d need for the beach including a cart to haul across the street to the beach (again, other units our family rented from did not all have these). Four beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers and sand toys. Kamaole Sands is strict on security (quiet hours 10:00 pm-8:00 am) so prepare for a knock on the door even before 10:00 (not so much before 8:00 am). We didn’t get “in trouble” But my brother in Bldg 5 was approached as he went to his condo to get something at 6:45 one night. Security said there was a complaint. He politely told them nobody was even in their room. We’ve started at KS 3X over last five years and this happens every y Having said that, Shannon and her condo are great.

Great Kihei Condo

We stayed in this condo for four weeks in November and found it met our needs perfectly. The condo is very well equipped with everything necessary to allow someone to live comfortably for a short- or long-term stay, including beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and boogie boards. The kitchen has virtually everything one needs to cook meals of all sorts. We used the barbecue area for the building a number of times and were impressed with how clean the equipment is kept. The bed was comfortable, and the bathrooms are nicely finished. Lots of spare linens and towels, etc. We spent a lot of time on the lanai with its large wrap around couch. Not much of a view from the lanai but we found the location of the condo was just fine. There was nice airflow through the condo with the entry door open so that we did not need to use AC at all. Parking is relatively close by. We felt the location in South Kihei was very good with easy access by car to grocery stores and restaurants (can easily walk to some dining spots). The beach is right across the street, a few minute walk through the well-maintained grounds. The owner stayed in touch on a regular basis and provided lots of useful information.
