Welcome to the historic Raymond Store Cabins! Whether seeking adventure or relaxation make this your mountain vacation base camp. Four cozy authentic travel lodges with a vintage vibe located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, offering plenty of space to breathe and take in the beautiful natural surroundings. Set along the banks of the Middle St. Vrain in the secluded yet easily accessible community of Raymond, Colorado, elevation 7711. Just 10 minutes away from the Wild Basin entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and 15 minutes to Lily Lake. Hike out your door to Miller Rock Trail, stroll picturesque Riverside Drive, travel the scenic Peak to Peak highway to Nederland, explore Estes Park and Lyons, or check out Boulder and the eclectic Pearl Street Mall. No matter where your time is spent, you'll feel like you're enjoying a true mountain getaway.

Make memories in this cute as a bug newly refurbished studio cabin featuring an efficient kitchenette and bath, cozy antique wood burning stove, and charming banquette seating area. Enjoy the original art and photography, one of a kind wood wall treatments, reclaimed tin ceiling, and interesting antique artifacts. Rest easy in the comfy full size bed with fresh linens line dried in clean mountain air. Kitchenette includes mini fridge, microwave, hotplate, toaster, and coffee maker, along with all dishes, cookware and basic spices. Smart TV and secure WIFI provided. Relax amongst the wildflowers on a furnished patio near the sounds of the river, passing wildlife and picturesque mountain views.

Great place if you are looking for peace and quiet. Plan ahead as you will be about 14 miles from the closest store and restaurants. Very lovely.

Great property. I would stay there again. Only one suggestion for visitors: download the travel and accommodation details before you arrive because there is no cell coverage within 15 miles of the property. When I arrived, quite late, I had to blow up the picture of my cabin so I wouldn’t enter someone else’s by mistake. Be comforted, though. They have great wi-fi once you are checked in and have the log-in credentials.

Raymond Cabins

My wife and I loved our stay! The cozy, quaint cabin was peaceful and perfect for a mountain trip. Loved the neighboring hikes and views as well!

Wonderful Getaway vacation

This cabin was clean, warm, and cozy. The property is well kept and right beside such a beautiful river that just puts you to sleep at night. We will definitely recommend and hopefully come back again soon 🙂

The Bunk House (Lyons, CO)

We spent 5 nights at this little cozy cabin, and took advantage of the close location to RMNP, Boulder, and Lyons. The owners live on site, and were helpful in every respect.

It would have been great for 1 or 2 nights but we stayed 7 not knowing there was no AC, 2 out of the 3 windows were screwed shut, no sink in the bathroom, the fridge was the smallest size made “dorm” fridge, and it froze everything. The stove was a camping 2burner placed on a wobbly wooden stool. The shower leaked all over the floor. There was a half inch of dust under the bed with a pair of someone’s glasses, an old dirty hair brush and a rotting bag of beef jerky. The good part was it was its own structure and the other people didn’t bother us.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry about the dust and items under the bed. That was clearly an oversight on our part and should have been caught during cleaning. I'm also sorry to hear about the shower. We weren't made aware of any leaking during your stay, but I've added it to our maintenance list and will make sure it's inspected and repaired if needed. I'll also check the refrigerator to see why it was freezing your food. Regarding the rest, the Bunkhouse is intentionally a compact studio cabin, and the photos and listing accurately show its layout and amenities, including the kitchenette, compact refrigerator, and the fact that it does not have air conditioning. While we understand it may not have been the right fit for your week-long stay, many guests choose it specifically for its cozy, simple character. I appreciate you mentioning the privacy and peaceful setting, and I wish you all the best in your future travels

Cozy cabin along a rushing river among the pines

This cabin was the perfect cozy retreat. The drive there was absolutely beautiful among the pines. The place was easy to find with convenient access to Estes Park, Lyons, Longmont, and Boulder. The host was very kind, and the cabin was stocked with snacks, games, dishes, and everything you’d need to start a fire in the wood stove. It’s located along a rushing river, and I enjoyed stepping out my door and going for walks along it in the morning and evening. Already recommended this place to my family!

We wanted to see a moose and did we ever!!! Our afternoon Walk along the water about 30 feet from us a huge moose enjoying some tree leaves we stayed away on our walk home. We came here for my 60th birthday for a little relaxing getaway! Our cabin was small but super cozy in the cutest way,extremely clean and we already can’t wait to come back! There was even fresh flowers on the table when we arrived! My husband enjoyed fishing in the beautiful river that’s just right outside our door while I enjoyed the relaxing sound of the river and the great outdoors! We also brought our little dog, Reba! This place being pet friendly was very important to us! The drive up the canyon was also one of the most beautiful Rocky Mountains we’ve ever been on! This place is a wonderful hidden gem!

Cute little cabin

We enjoyed this little cabin. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the host was super easy, she was always responsive and very helpful. We enjoyed the snacks and spring water that were provided, a nice little extra touch! Only thing that was a little weird is that there is no sink in the bathroom so you have to wash your hands,etc in the kitchen sink. Not a big deal though!

Cozy cabin

Cabin was located in a very beautiful place, lots of sight seeing near by. Distance to the Rocky Mountains was only 35 minutes maybe less. Enjoyed our stay. Heater worked amazing, never had a cold night. Surrounding towns were nice to go to. :)

We found the cabins and their location perfect for us. Quiet setting away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to Estes Park or Boulder for any creature comforts we desired.

Great peaceful getaway!

The owners of this property greeted us as soon as we arrived and were very welcoming. The Bunk house cabin was perfect. Clean and well decorated. It came supplied with everything needed. Awesome moonset and stars at night! I would recommend Raymond cabins for your getaway and mental recharging.

Mountain Retreat

The Bunk House felt like a home tucked in the woods. We loved the scenic drive into the cabin. The sounds of the river and hummingbirds were perfect for a morning sit on the porch. The hosts were helpful and welcoming. The cabin provided needed items while having a fun decor. We also loved the hammock and outdoor games, especially the corn hole. There was easy access to many mountain and park locations. We loved the Bunk House.

Beautiful Place

My husband and I absolutely loved this place. Over the years we have stayed at quite a few properties and by far this place was the best. The owners are great and never tired of my husband's endless questions. The cabins are clean and homey. We were provided with plenty of wood for roasting marshmallows and keeping warm. The area around the cabins is gorgeous and perfect for exploring. Especially the stream...just beautiful. Can't wait to visit again.

Perfect Cozy Cabin!

My daughter and I met here for a weekend getaway and this cabin was so perfect! It is exactly as described, small but cozy and comfortable and so cute! Close to the Rocky Mountain National Park and some wilderness areas, so very convenient access to lovely hiking. Also easy drives to Allenspark and Estes Park. Just know it’s a winding mountain drive, a bit of a trek from the airport. The property is really beautiful with a creek running through, and the hosts have set up cute seating areas by the water and even a nice big hammock. They are lovely people, not intrusive but available if you need anything and willing to chat. We definitely plan to go back! There are a few larger cabins, so maybe we will bring more family nex time :-)

Overall amazing.

I couldn’t recommend these cabins more. They were in the most perfectly gorgeous location in the mountains, right between Lyons and Estes. The bunkhouse was cozy and adorable, perfect for our stay! I could go on and on about how much we loved our stay - so if you’re thinking about booking here do it! You will be beyond pleased!

Very cute cabin!

We chose this cabin because it was just outside the Rockies and quiet. We got in very late because our flight was delayed, but excellent communication with the owners and they left the light on so we could find the cabin in the dark. Very cute little place, perfect for my husband and myself to spend 2 nights. I did read on their website while we were staying there that this cabin goes for half the price we paid on VRBO, but I'm assuming that's if you book directly with them. There are several other cabins surrounding that I'm assuming are different sizes for bigger groups or families. Lots of places to check out nearby!
