Comfortable summer home for summer family gathering.
Access to Scarborough State Beach. It's a short .2 mile walk to the beach with no fee to get on the beach. A beautiful and roomy house that offers 6 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and room for 12 guests comfortably. Recently updated with "beachy" decor and new furnishings. There is also a private outdoor space, outdoor shower, deck, and outdoor eating area. This vacation home is well stocked with dishes, glasses, and cooking supplies. There are also a firepit, and extra beach chairs in the extra space in the garage.

Easy access to groceries and Narragansett dining experiences minutes away. The Narragansett Pier is only a few minutes away as well. There are no details left out with this vacation home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Narragansett. Joe was an excellent communicator and the expectations were clear. We felt very comfortable and safe on the quiet street, which was close to Scarborough beach.

Our host was so responsive. He was eager to meet our every need and extremely prompt with all communications. The house smelled very fresh and was clean upon arrival. It is in an ideal location and size of house is perfect for a large family. This was our second stay at this house and we will be back.

Amazing location!

The house was clean and the location was amazing. The house is perfect for Families with kids and the beach is within walking distance. Joe was very nice and responsive to any questions we had during our stay. Overall we had a great Family vacation and enjoyed our stay.

Very nice home for our week away. Biggest issue for our large group was not having an additional sitting/tv area for the kids to hang out. Many of the same style homes have upper and lower living areas. This home kept the garage space in tact which was nice for storing and in the end, we set up beach chairs and a projector for the kids in the garage. For a smaller group, the house is well appointed. Owners were very responsive when we reached out and the beach access was ideal!

We had a great stay at Joes. Short walk to the beach, house accommodated us nicely. A couple things to note, sheets are provided, but I wish I had brought an extra blanket because the comforters on some of the beds are quite thin and downstairs rooms are quite chilly(there are a couple extra blankets but not enough for each room)! Wish we had a few more towels provided. And no spices in the home, so be prepared to bring your own! Besides these few small inconveniences, we had a wonderful and would return!

Friends and Family Vacation

The property was very clean and large enough for our bunch. Front yard was great for us to set up corn hole game and back yard nice and private to set up a small pool! Would recommend this home! Had a few issues but Joe was quick to respond and address anything needed.

Perfect week at the beach with our family

We had the best time in Narraghansett. We've been renting in this neighborhood for the past 6-7 years but this house is by far our favorite. It was spacious with a nice open concept kitchen and living room. The kitchen table was large enough for our family of 12! We had only a few small issues that the owner immediately addressed. Joe was so responsive to any questions that we had or anything we needed. We definitely plan to rent again next summer.

Perfect for our big family.

This home was well maintained with a wonderful layout. The rooms were the perfect size and very comfortable. The central air made a very hot and humid week more bearable. We had everything we needed and Joe was the perfect host. When we needed to reach out to him, he got back to us right away. It was an easy walk to Scarborough Beach and an ice cream truck came by just about every evening. My whole family loved it!

Affordable and convenient rental for big group

We enjoyed our stay here. It's on a quiet street very close to the beach - even closer than you realize when looking at the map because there is a hidden path that is a shortcut - so it's only about a 10 min walk to Scarborough State Beach. We appreciated that they took care of linens, towels and had plenty of seating for our large family to fit comfortably for meals and hanging out. The only downside was there wasn't a ton of cookware so if you plan to cook at the house, consider bringing some extra pots, pans and serving bowls. Thanks for a great week in Rhode Island!

Checkin went very well..the host notified us before the 3:00 checkin time that the property was ready so we got in about a 1/2 hour early. We found the property to be in very good condition & clean. All the amenities for the kitchen were available. Each of the 6 bedrooms had a TV...1 different thing was that theTV remotes did not allow you to turn the power on or adjust the volume... it had to be done manually. The remote was for finding channels. It has a very nice backyard, 2 refrigerators which is needed when you have 12 people. Communication with the host was excellent.

Ideal! Don’t hesitate to book it!

What a perfect home for our family trip! We found the house to be very clean, bright, and inviting. The six bedrooms had comfortable beds, with a lower level allowing a quiet location for those sleeping in. We loved gathering together for meals at the huge table, and taking advantage of the family room space for games and gabbing. The location was wonderful, making our trips to the beaches, Galilee, Narragansett, and even Newport easy. Joe and Patty, the hosts, were so helpful and responsive. There were a couple items to contact them about and almost immediately, they responded, resolving the request or concern so quickly. This is an ideal VRBO! You won’t be disappointed.

Simply Perfect!

Of all the places we have stayed in Narragansett, we would rate this home as one of the nicest, best located, and a real value. The house and yard were really clean. There was enough room for our large group and the dining room table was our gathering place to play games and enjoy meals. The beds were extremely comfortable and the second refrigerator was an added bonus. We had everything we needed to feel at home. Being close to a big supermarket was handy, as well as dozens of excellent restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed the private backyard. There was a party going on at the Fire pit almost every night as we sang, told stories and enjoyed S’mores. Great proximity to the beach and it was wonderful that there were beach wagons to use to carry all our items for the walk! Communication with our host was easy. Joe the owner checked in on us by text periodically to see if all was well and was readily available when we had questions. We would highly recommend this wonderful home.

Great spot to walk to the beach

The space and location were great. The house has been recently updated and was clean. However, several items needed maitenance in the house. None of these things really negatively impacted our stay, expect for the outdoor shower which didn’t have hot water. That was a drag given that we had several little kids dragging sand into the house without it. However, the owner was very responsive and came as soon as he could to look at it, though it was not fixed during our stay. The kitchen was not very well stocked. Some of our group arrived one day after check in and brought a bunch of things so that we were able to cook all week. There were no knives to chop/prep food or cutting boards, for example. We did love the location, it was our second time in this neighborhood. Usually we would load up one car and drive to Scarborough beach and the rest of us would walk, and it was great to be able to walk back to the house with the various kids without having to pack everything up. The owner also brought over a baby gate for the stairs since we have toddlers, which we really appreciated.

Thank you for the feedback. I apologize again for not being able to get a plumber there during the week and the shower was addressed as I tried to look at it myself. Decent house at a good location- but could use some adjustments

Overall, our family had a nice stay, but felt like there were several small adjustments that could be made that would have a big impact! Starting with the positives: - very responsive host that was helpful throughout the stay - location and accessibility to the beach - ample parking - washer/dryer on site - porch and a grill- made for fun dinners together - beach wagon and supplies that guests can use - private backyard Things that made for a less than ideal stay: - lack of proper curtains/shades. The main living room has a big bay window with no shade that has blinding light in the morning/afternoon and no privacy in the evening. The bedrooms had curtains, but none were really long enough or wide enough for the windows there… it made getting kids down to bed challenging (and they woke up EARLY bc of this) - the outdoor shower doesn’t have a proper draining system so the backyard ends up soggy - needs to have more silverware/mugs/knives…we ended up buying plastic knives/spoons - wished there were extra blankets or communication that there are no extras in the house (would have planned accordingly) - some beds we’re comfortable but others were not We had a good time and appreciated that the host made a special trip to bring a vacuum to the house (kids and sand- need I say more?!). Only reason for a less than 5 star review is the items mentioned above impacted the comfort of our stay. Good news is that some small tweaks should yield big results.

Great beach house!

Quick walk to Scarborough Beach. House was clean, beds were comfy. Nice back yard and front yard for games, fire pit, etc. Owner was quick to respond to any questions during the booking process. Would stay here again!
