Lake Superior Waterfront Home with Wood Fired Sauna and Igloo

Welcome to the cozy Beaver Beach House. Enjoy endless blue water views and the spectacular sunrises in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin seated steps from the water of Lake Superior on the Au Train Bay. Relax in a wood fired sauna or in the igloo on the beach. Seconds from the Au Train Bay boat launch, salmon and trout fishing is fantastic. ATV and snowmobile trails are across the street. Au Train Beach is within minutes walking distance. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, numerous waterfalls and endless hikes are moments away. The cabin is situated 30 minutes from Marquette and 13 minutes from Munising. There is a bonfire pit with chairs overlooking the lake. Guests must supply their own fire wood. Spend your nights on the porch listening to the waves and watching the Northern Michigan stars. It’s truly a spectacular cabin to relax in and call home for a while! We use Happy Guest property management for rental agreements and liability coverages. They handle all communication after booking.

The views from the house, backyard, and sauna were amazing. The host were very communicative and this is a great spot to enjoy the lake and visit picture rocks.

Beautiful cabin right on the lake. Plenty of room for family to have their own space. The kitchen renovation was beautiful! My girls loved the rocky beach to go rock hunting and the paddle boards provided were a big hit! We used the grill and also love the fire pit. Definitely a great place to stay to be in a central location. The host replied quickly, and the keyless entry when we got there late was great! This was our second stay and hope to return again.

Great location with private access to Lake Superior. Close by to many local attractions. Loved using the paddle boards in the lake. The men in our group enjoyed the sauna followed by a refreshing and exhilarating dip in the lake. We enjoyed a fire in the fire ring several evenings during our stay. Myself and my kiddos also thoroughly enjoyed scavenging the shore for beautiful rocks. The home was clean when we arrived. Wifi was easy to connect our devices to. The Roku TV and selections of games was great for evenings when the Michigan mosquitos drove us back inside, lol. Overall we had a great vacation. Can't wait for our next trip to the beautiful UP!

The entire stay from check-in to checkout was awesome. The house was immaculate and furnished nicely. The view was spectacular! We enjoyed the sauna and igloo- nice touches. Thanks Kyle & Kayla, it’s a great place.

Was so fun! Would stay again in the future. Loved the paddle boards and view. Loved how close the beach was, we paddle boarded over there. If you have small children, bring a baby gate. I didn’t think of that for our 2 year old. She wanted to be up and down the stairs the whole time. Outdoor stairs, 2 need to be replaced. Beds were comfy. Under the stairs kids area is SO CUTE, but it had a weird smell, so didn’t let the kids under there. Overall, pleasant experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beaver beach house!Ŵe loved the beach and spent so much time looking at the rocks with the grandkids.The host answered every question we had and was quick to respond back to us.Our family of 8 really enjoyed our time together and the memories we made at this home.I highly recommend anyone to stay at the Beaver Beach House if they are looking for an enjoyable beach front home to stay in.Also to add, we absolutely enjoyed the igloo!! It's like a fairy tale come true!

A Spring stay with amazing views. Very Clean. Great communication from the host before and after the stay. Very cozy and warm when the cool air of Lake Superior hits. The place was as described on the listing. Would love to come back in the summer.

Loved it, great location, near to all of the "attractions" we wanted to see

Loved this house, rockhounding in private, a great restaurant across the street and the we were able to see everything we planned to see and all within an hour drive max :)

Relax in peace in an amazing location

Our family of four had an amazing time relaxing with the view of Lake Superior, going for hikes, and beach hopping. Really grate location and super comfortable for all of us.

Perfect location for snowmobiling

The Beaver beach house was the perfect location and set up for our March snowmobile trip. The house was clean and the sauna and views of Lake Superior were amazing. Look forward to returning.

Great location with a beautiful view!

We had a wonderful time exploring all the area has to offer. The view was beautiful and accommodations were amazing. Plenty of room for friends and family to relax, play cards and have a bonfire. The hosts were easy to connect with and more than accommodating, this was a great experience and we will definitely stay again.

This place is beautiful even more than the pictures. It has everything you need. We had 8 adults a toddler and a dog here with no issues. Steps away from Lake Superior and a Sauna. The house is fully equipped. We will definitely be coming back!

Clean and great location!

It was such a perfect location for what we had planned and SO clean! The water view was also gorgeous. The road can be a little loud with trucks driving by but when the windows are closed you can hardly hear them.

We loved our stay at Beaver Beach House. It was close to everything in Munising and we spent time chasing waterfalls and did a boat tour with Grand Island Boat Rentals. The beach at the house was very rocky with no sand so it was hard to walk but my two year old still had a blast throwing rocks in the water and rock combing. The home was very clean and the owners were so personable and responded extremely quickly. We did have two mice inside, that we got out, and owners called pest maintenance. It was a great location and an overall relaxing stay!

More like the ocean than a lake!

Breathtaking views!! Very peaceful setting to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the lake! At night the waves could be heard crashing on the rocks outside the windows! Cabin was clean and well stocked with amenities. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Quaint, Cozy, Clean, Convenient & Care-Free

We were a family of four and the accommodations were wonderful. Excellent communication for our arrival, a thoroughly clean & tidy space, an extremely helpful desk with local information, well-equipped kitchen, very good wi-fi, comfortable beds, and—you’ve seen the pics—an unbeatable lake view. Plus, in a really convenient location between the Marquette area and Picture Rocks. Would book this again in a second!

Beautiful lakefront property

We enjoyed a peaceful stay on the shores of Lake Superior. Several outdoor chairs are available for relaxing on the beach. There is a nice restaurant just a short walk down the street. The only thing lacking is onsite laundry facilities.

A gem !

This property was perfect for a family trip ! We love Lake Superior and this cabin is a gem we seen spectacular sunrises. Great location and family ready for all ages. We will return. The Beavers were excellent hosts.
