Enjoy our family's home located in historic Harbour Town for your family's summer getaway. This cozy home offers plenty of space for a large family vacation. New bedding throughout will offer a good nights sleep after your busy summer days. A walk to the beach, fishing on a Lake Erie charter boat, a trip to Cedar Point, or visit to Paper Moon Winery are all close by options to the home to plan your vacation day. Relax with your coffee by the fireplace or outside under the pergola in the private fenced in backyard as you plan your day or tell stories from the day before. Take a 10 minute walk to downtown Vermilion to enjoy the many restaurants and live music during the summer "Third Thursday" events to experience a small town summer atmosphere at its finest. Use the fully equipped spacious kitchen and dining room table to cook large family meals or use the grill and eat al fresco. Bikes are included and available for Mom, Dad, and four kids for rides to the candy shop or bakery. This is a great home and in a great spot. We hope your family enjoys this home as much as we do. You're sure to create fun family memories as you live "In Between Dreams"!

The home is set up well for entertaining families with games for all ages and close proximity to town. It’s an easy walk to town and the lake. Marty and Bridget are outstanding hosts! We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful spacious home!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the extra amenities, games and Gar-Bar set up for kiddos and for all age groups! There were 12 of us, and we had plenty of space to spread out and so enjoyed our stay! Within walking distance of quaint little town, beach, ice cream shop and shopping places! Hope to be back again sometime!

Bachelor Party

We stayed here for a bachelor party. It was a great place to stay between Cedar point and the city of Cleveland. The beach and neighborhoods were also nice and the towns people were really friendly.

Relaxed Stay in Vermilion

Marty and his wife are very welcoming and gracious hosts. They even let us check in a little early when we arrived in Vermilion with tired and antsy children. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty to keep young and old alike entertained. Also, we arrived to find a courtesy starter pack of essentials that included coffee. The bedroom with the bunk beds includes a cubbyhole hideout that our older ones loved. The laundry room was one of my wife’s dreams come true. Five stars all the way.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at Marty and Bridget’s place. My husband and I and 2 adult kids stayed in the house. Our daughter, husband and 5 kids under 12 stayed nearby. They really enjoyed visiting our house and spent a lot of time there, so many kid activities, good for a rainy day too. The garage and yard are also spacious with games, a bar, fire pit, and nice fenced yard. The kitchen was well equipped along with the house. There was plenty of room for additional people. We enjoyed the nearby beach by the lighthouse. We spent a lot of time there as well with the grandkids. The downtown has fun shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the ice cream shop too. One of our grandsons caught a large mouth bass, that was exciting! We will be back. Great stay! Thank you

Lots of Entertainment!

The weather wasn’t great when we stayed, but there was plenty to do inside the house so we were never bored. Games are missing pieces and 2/3 arcade games didn’t work, but with everything else they had… we just moved on to the next game. The house came with everything we needed & then some. The thing we were most appreciative of is how cozy it was! The master bed and furniture throughout the house are the most comfortable we’ve had at any rental house over the years. The owners allowed us to bring both our dogs for an extra cleaning fee & it was 100% worth it. Our dogs had a blast & so did we!

In Between Dreams

The house is super cute. There are little areas for hanging out, playing games or reading. The backyard is perfect and would be a great place to play or hang out during the summer. Highly recommend!

This house was perfect!!

Great location and it had plenty of room. Communication with host was great!! We stayed there over thanksgiving and she put out some fall deco and a pencil Christmas tree. Such a nice touch to make our stay special!!

Short stay in vermilion

The house was exactly as expected! Kitchen equipped with everything except a colander or maybe I just didn’t see it. We utilized the games in the garage except for ping pong. We used the sandbox, fire pit, and basketball hoop. We had plenty of warm water with good water pressure for 5 adults and 4 kids to bathe/shower. All of the beds were comfy as well. The place was clean with plenty of areas to spread out. There’s a nice selection of games and puzzles. We didn’t use the WI nor the karaoke but it was tempting. I’d definitely stay here again!

3 Generations on Week-long Vacaton

Depending on the day of the week, 8-12 of us stayed in this home, ranging in ages from 1 to north of 70. House is perfect for such groups, with multiple rooms of varying sizes, including very large 1st floor bathroom with laundry (both in use througout the week). Very large kitchen with very nice appliances, including a large refrigerator, easily accomodated a number of meals throughout the week. A short 5-minute drive or 10-15 minute walk into the heart of downtown Vermilion, which puts you two blocks from the beach and Lake. Everyone had a great time enjoying every bit of the house, including multiple arcade games inside the house and numerous, "more active" games in the garage (e.g. foosball, air hockey, ping pong, etc.) Home was nicely furnished with towels (for bathing and the beach), and initial "paper" needs. The owners were excellent to work with prior to, and during our stay, including checking in to ensure we were ok when thunderstorms, tornados, and retultant wide-spread power outages swept across nornther Ohio (Vermilion was not impacted as much as those west and east of town were). We are already planning our trip next year and hope to again stay at this house when doing so.

Best BnB EVER!!!

We had a group of 8, which included a 15 year old and a 5mos old and we had a FABULOUS STAY!!! There’s so much room to spread out and relax and the baby always had a quiet place to rest even with a house full of people. They have a spotless home, super clean and stocked with all of the essentials. The temps outside in Vermillion were ridiculously hot but we were nice and cool- upstairs and down. It was a quick 10 minute leisurely walk to all the wonderful downtown shops, boutiques & restaurants and even the beach. We really enjoyed playing board games each evening and watching movies! Having 2 full bathrooms was a huge plus and it was great having the washer and dryer. The backyard was also a relaxing place to hang out. This house is just so perfect for large groups and we can’t wait to stay again next year!!!

Great stay over July 4th!

We stayed here in vermilion for the first time with some extended family. Short walk to the beach and downtown. We LOVED the fenced in yard and play set for the kids as well as all the extra games and things in the garage. The house was great to accommodate all of us and plenty of space to spread out. We will be back!

Dreamy little getaway

I absolutely loved this lovely home away from home! The owners were extremely responsive and answered any questions we had. The whole space was set up for family time together. From the fire pit and pergola out back to the library and game room, there was so much to entertain. It was perfect for our large group of 11. The beach and downtown area are a short walk away. A great time was had by all! Thank you for a dreamy, little getaway.

Perfect for families!

Cozy house with plenty of space for our extended family of 11. Kids loved the arcade games and garage full of fun stuff. Nice fenced in yard and location close to town and walkable to beach. Fun time for all!

Family lake house

We rented the house to watch the eclipse. It felt much homier than other properties we have stayed at. Clean and short walk to the cute down town and lake. The only thing I would note if you have a large group the fact that the upstairs bathroom is only separated from the master by a curtain makes sharing said bathroom tricky especially at night.

Wonderful Getaway Home with all of the amenities

This is our 2nd time at this property due to location and amenities for my 6 and 15 year old. We even changed our vacation dates to get this property for our stay. Highly recommend it especially with kids. Video games, swing set, air hockey, basketball, bikes not to mention everything you need for your stay in the kitchen.

Clean, comfortable, cozy

Highly recommend! What a lovely home with plenty of comfortable, cozy rooms to gather with family and friends. Our family of 5 traveled from MD to spend Thanksgiving with family from Lorain and Cleveland. Perfect location for both sides of the family! Everyone loved playing games in the library, watching football in the living room, reacquainting themselves with Pac Man, and preparing dinner in the roomy kitchen. There was even enough room for two younger cousins to have a sleepover in the bunk room! We enjoyed the short walk to town to get coffee and see blustery Lake Erie. Marty and Bridget are terrific hosts and we would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the bikes and activities in the garage. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fabulous stay!

This house was a gem, perfectly located, close to town, shops, and the beach. Big enough to have family over for a cookout, and just perfect for our party of 5. Lots of entertainment options, games, puzzles, and such. Plenty of space, nice neighborhood, I could not have desired a better location. The owners are responsive, check in was a breeze, everything was perfect! Highly recommend this locaiton to anybody visiting Vermilion!

A quiet neighborhood in close proximity to the Lake! Within walking distance to shops and restaurants! The house was spacious and offered all the comforts of home! Provided something for everyone to enjoy! Property managers were very attentive! Overall very satisfied!
