This peaceful retreat located on 1.25 acres will serve as the perfect home base, private setting or winter escape.

Great location to all attractions and things to do along Florida’s Nature Coast. Homosassa Wildlife Park, Monkey Island, Crystal River, Three Sisters Springs, Kings Bay, Fort Island Trail fishing pier, beach and boat launch. Swim with the Manatees, water bike, kayak, paddleboard, canoe, snorkel, hike, bike and golf. Take advantage of fishing adventures and scalloping in the gulf.

There are lounge chairs with cushions for you to take to the beach with coolers, beach bags, matts, beach towels and Sunscreen.

Try many of the great local and waterfront restaurants. Indulge in the fresh fish and seafood.

Relax on the front lanai, back lanai or rear patio. Sip a refreshing beverage, fire up the gas grill for a feast.
Finish up the evening sitting by the huge firepit roasting marshmallow’s and sharing the days adventures. Play, horseshoes, badminton, volley ball, and corn hole.

Conveniently Park under the carport or the three spaces next to the garage.

The house is fully stocked with all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, spices, condiments, cooking and baking needs, gas grill, washer, dryer, wi-fi, cable and all personal essentials

After Month of looking for a place to stay for the month of March 2026. We couldn’t have picked a nicer place. Clean, well equipped, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, front and back lanai. Two miles from Walmart and situated close to activity’s. I wrote down 35 attractions and we went to 25 of them. So there lots to do The owner (Anita) was only a phone call away, and was so pleasant to talk to. We loved it so much, we rented it for next year. Incredible Stay and Host

This location was perfect, we were in the area for work. The home was incredibly clean and perfect for our long term stay. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. I would recommend this location to anyone coming to this area. Thank you for your hospitality.

Completely exceeded expectations!

Everything about this property completely exceeded expectations. The house was completely furnished with everything you can think of. Movies galore, comfortable beds, and is located perfect in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. There is also a large fire pit and horseshoes in the back yard. Anita was an exceptional host and communicated great. Thanks!

Family Getaway

My mom (80), my aunt (87), and I spent a wonderful month at the Blue Nile! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Our host was incredible—thoughtful, attentive, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. The property itself was ideal: tucked away in a charming wooded area with only three other nearby homes, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed and more, making it feel like a true home away from home. We also loved how convenient it was to shopping—just under two miles away! During our stay, we explored many of the local parks and attractions and truly enjoyed everything the area had to offer. It was a relaxing, memorable experience for all of us.

Absolutely awesome stay!

If we could give The Blue Nile a 10 rating we would! The house is centrally located in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood of five houses. All the neighbors were friendly but not intrusive. We felt safe staying there, almost as comfortable as our home in Maine. The inside was spacious and well laid out. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, linens and toiletries were all provided as well as cleaning supplies. Anita was not in the area while we were there but always available via text for any questions. The Blue Nile has everything anyone would need. We stayed there for 7+ weeks and would love to return sometime in the future. It is truly a wonderful place to have as a home base while spending time exploring the Homosassa area.

Spacious Relaxing Oasis

This property is gorgeous. Nice very large fenced in back yard, with an Amazing firepit. Spacious screened in frot porch. The open floor concept makes this a great vacation get away for a family or a group of friends! Anita, took timeout of her schedule to buy hot dog forks, since she knew we were going to use the firepit. The home was exceptionally clean and decorated nicely. We felt like we were at home! We can't wait to plan our next trip to, The Blue Nile!! Anita is an amazing owner and answers any question you may think of!! Anita is a very gracious host! Our first VBRO experience was 100% amazing 👏

Dear Anita We wanted to extend our sincerest gratitude for such an incredible stay at your beautiful home in Florida. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the impeccable decor and spaciousness, making it the perfect haven for our family vacation. Our journey from Washington DC to Florida was lengthy, but the warmth of your hospitality made it all worthwhile. Your generosity in allowing us to check in early set the tone for a truly memorable experience. Despite a minor setback with one of our drivers suffering from sun poisoning, your flexibility and understanding in accommodating us for an extra day exceeded all expectations. Being natives of Homosassa, we appreciated the convenient location of your home, which allowed us easy access to all the places we hold dear. Overall, our trip was a resounding success, thanks in large part to your graciousness and the comfort of your home. We're already eagerly planning our next adventure to Florida and can't wait to return to your welcoming abode.

2nd time staying here

This was our families second time staying here. We liked it so much we decided to stay here the next time. The house is very spacious with an open floor plan and a nice yard for the kids. The neighborhood is very peaceful and relaxing and is located within driving distance to everything you need. The owner is very appreciative of your business and goes the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay. Would go back

I purchased this property to have a second place to call home. Sunny Florida was a great choice. I love going back and forth when I can to relax, go to the beach enjoy the ocean and eat at great restaurants, especially on the waterfront.
My home base is Colorado and have lived in Longmont since I was 6 years old. I have been a realtor for 26 years and have volunteered at the OUR Center for 15 years.

I love this peaceful location nestled in a quiet and private enclave. Relaxing on the front lanai listing to the birds and looking at both the palm and pine trees is just soothing.
