Large spacious and mostly new second floor with 1.5 baths 2 or 3 bedrooms . The booking includes 2 bedrooms on same floor. The third bedroom is optional for additional $65 per night . kitchen, dining, for 6 , large velvet sofa and two love seat . Very sunny and airy , all new windows . great for work group , each person will have complete privacy because the building is 70 feet long and 25 feet eide wide. Phone conversation will be private in REAR .
Note :Most times it’s absolutely quiet because there are no houses directly across the street - has a children’s park and a large church . Great place for your buck . All white walls - minimalist decor. Beds and pillows have protective covers .
We sanitized and wash with hot water - high heat dry linen and towels
No pets - if we must allow pets there will be a deposit of $1000. and no more than one pet allowed. And extra for pet cleaning is pending on the length of stay. Pet Must be flea free and odor Free.
Guide dog only and must not shed hair - Dog must be groomed, bathe and have no oder before entering home- No exceptions. guide dog is not allowed on beds , furniture or anything fabric. Food shopping are nearby or 3 miles to shopping center . Buzzing restaurants District and Bars are on the water front , Italian , greek , asian, fusion, sushi, american - formal or non formal attire optional . BillyJoes restaurant and club for all american Ribs - also clubbing for young and restless after 10:00 pm disco open . Deck is on the water-ducks like French fries . HudsonTaco - old Rail road station with view of the Hudson ,Best Pizza hangout too. STARGAZING perfect SKY, hiking Beacon mountain- breakneck are in Beacon across the River , or simply Downing park five minutes walk from home .Fishing on the pier is allowed - there is also a beautiful park for running and picnicking or just relaxing on the grass with the musical wave sound of the Hudson River. Washington Headquarter is on Liberty st- must see - breathtaking view - peaceful for reading - close at 5:00 pm . Many historic buildings to visit on Montgomery st. Many Art Galleries on Broadway and Ann Street. Antique shopping on broadway nearby. Boutique shops are on Liberty st. Great breweries are in the vicinity as well - one in particular is on Ann street, opposite the gallery. Ski in winter at Westpoint for a small fee . home is 15 miles north of U S Army West pt. Woodstock is 30 mins. drive on 87 N. Old Rhinebeck is 20 mins drive north , kingston is 15 mins drive north. new patlz is 15 mins drive north . Bearmountain is 15 miles south of the home.

Love Newburgh!!

This property was located three blocks from my sister's home, and was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, the bedrooms had AC, and decorated with taste and love. The host is immediately responsive with any question. It is a space you feel good in! When I visit again, I will be staying at the same place.

Host was attentive to a few questions during the visit. Clean unit. Place / area / location appears to be being restored. Area needs more time (months/years) to be completed/updated. Wifi could be upgraded to cover the entire unit. Enjoyed the river restaurants.

Scariest VRBO location in dangerous neighborhood

The pictures in this listing completely misrepresented the neighborhood. We only spent about an hour in the VRBO but didn't feel safe there for several reasons. First of all, the room wasn't secure because it was opened up to the neighborhood through the upper floor that let out to the fire escape. Second of all there were large groups of people in the streets having block parties that made us feel like our rental car wasn't safe from vandalism or burglary. The last straw was when we talked to a local police officer who told us that it is one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the city and that we were at high risk staying there. He recommended we find new lodging. We had to spend thousands of dollars at the last minute to find a new location to stay.This location has no business being a VRBO. The location itself smelled musty and while the sheets on the beds were washed and made well, the blankets were dirty. I wouldn't have stayed at that property even if it were offered free of charge. They should be banned from VRBO in my opinion and I would like to have my money reimbursed.

The area is no different than Brooklyn and Queens in New york city . Historians , Architects ,Artists or non racist humans appreciate this Historic city that experienced corruption in the 1960s . Its now gentrifying and attracting many New York city residence . Over 75 % of the city has already been renovated and are occupied by entrepreneurs and small mom and pops business . One must explore the city to appreciate . It is the home of George Washington Headquarters .on liberty street . I personally live on the property and never had any incidence with my vehicle . We feel safe here . It is actually quieter than most streets in New York City . Not all Officers are honest but they are entitle to their opinion . The police in this city are very good and responsible. I rarely saw any police vehicle rushing to a scene . I never heard the siren day or night It is a Nice small city with lots of interesting history and great restaurants . Artists ,Architects , Historians and teachers from Across the country visits and lives in this city . Keep in mind a home is a home and not a hotel . Owners personal stuff may be seen around the house - All fire escape windows are locked from the inside and no one can enter from the outside . There is always room for improvement ..Everyone’s preference varies , we offer a combination of rustic mixed with bright White and neutral colors . At this price its a deal for the size of this apartment . Numerous guests stayed here and were please with the apartment and the area .

Unique, Historic Property in the heart of Newburgh

Bibi was a great host and was very communicative throughout the process. The property has clearly had a lot of work completed on it and seems to have a little more to go to be completely finished. It suited our needs as we were in town for a family obligation and just needed a place to sleep. The neighborhood is definitely "up and coming" but you can tell there is a lot of change to come in the years ahead. There is a gorgeous church across the street that has undergone a major renovation as well. The street was "lively" at night, but everyone seemed friendly. The bedrooms are in the back of the building so any street noise didn't bother us at all.

I favor Blu Pointe Restaurant for Top Chef food and wine - great food and prices . fine dining and view from all restaurants on the water front. Many good restaurants are also on Liberty street off Broadway
Hidden among the Gem Is "Pamela's Restaurant " On the water by the Marina.

Historic water front to dine and relax or just enjoy the active waterways and the amazing view of the mountains . The restaurants are great depending on your budget. Some great restaurant and boutiques shops are on liberty street . Many hiking trails just three miles, bear mountain just 20 mins.
Short drive to Kingston, new paltz, Rhinebeck, Poukeepsie, Catskills ,Cold SpringThe hudson galleries in Athens - many small towns close-by.
Great for weekend activities . Hudson River is open to the public with a loading dock and parking . A public park along the River is open for BbQ and fishing. Obtain a permit for free from the city of newburgh at 83 broadway . Jet ski Rental on site
