Worst host ever house was dirty

Lots of broken items recliner on couch doesn’t fold in broken chair pool is dirty as ever hair all in tub toilet not clean gnna all videos and pictures tub get backed up goes dwn very slow.Just got to do better especially with. Covid shouldn’t had to pay a cleaning fee wen we cleaned the houae

Hated it

Very over priced. Property very small one floor plan. Pictures aren’t accurate. Home cleanliness sucks.No cable no TVs only in living room and one bedroom which was useless at night when ready to settle down at night. Furniture is old.Last resort wouldn’t return

Just ok

I have stayed in many VRBO's over the last few years and have always had great luck until this time. The communication from the owner regarding the check in process was dismal. She contacted me 2 days before arrival to tell me that VRBO did not charge me a deposit and I had to pay the deposit immediately or she would cancel my reservation. I went ahead and paid the deposit because at this point I had no choice. She also told me that if we had any visitors on the premises during the week she would immediately cancel us. This would have been nice to know up front as we were there for a baseball tournament and would have loved to have a few of the boys over. I then asked if she was gonna provide me with the check-in procedures and the address. Her reply was "of course". The day of arrival I still did not have any information on the address or how I was to access the property. I once again contacted her as I needed an address to put into our GPS, she then provided me with an address. I asked for procedures for check in and she stated to contact her once I was on the property. I told her it would be late but I would let her know. I contacted her 1 hour before arrival as well as 15 minutes before arrival. I finally received a response once I got to the property. She then provided me with the code to get in. Upon entering the house, I saw it was a very nice updated home. However, the cleanliness had a lot to be desired. I had to wash all of the towels as they looked as if they were dirty and had spots on them. The one shower did not drain at all and was only used one time yet still had water in it the end of the week. The other shower drained very slowly. We purchased coffee to be used in the coffee maker. On the very first day I went to make coffee and there was mold in the coffee maker. There was hair in all of the bathrooms and although they had a paper strip over the toilets showing they had been cleaned, they were not clean. The listing says there are televisions, but just to be clear there is one television in the house and it does not have cable. Last, there was a pool yet they did not provide any pool towels. The pool did not look clean and as much as we normally spend all of our extra time in the pool, it was only used once. I definitely would not return to this property. It definitely needs to fire their cleaning company and provide a more informative check in and check out procedure.

BEWARE ! WORST STAY EVER !!!! NIGHTMARE!!! I WISH I WAS WARNED!

I arrived on time and the owner was there to meet us , when we got into the house it was 91° , owner says that the AC was just turned on and that it would take about 2 hours to cool down, very unprofessional, the house should be cool when guests arrive, but no problem. We said ok and decided to go out for a few hours. We arrived back in the home 4 hours later and it was still unbearable. I contacted the owner and she says it’s probably where we are from and that we are not used to Florida weather. I demanded she came down or we would leave. We waited in my vehicle with the ac on for an hour until she got there. She finally goes in and says wow it is hot! She then says open the windows for now , there’s nothing she can really do. I MYSELF went walking around the property to see if I could fix the problem. I see the a/c unit was off. I told her about it and it was turned on. AC was then working from the first night. The second day I am leaving and she was on the property by the pool and in the garage , she then says to me that I had a party there. I did not and I told her this. She then claims I smoked inside the house, That also never happened. Basically looking to squeeze any extra money she can out of you. The third day now I recive a notification from VRBO saying that I need to pay extra money on top the the full balance I already paid! I contacted her about it and she says it’s for the extra guests that are staying there, THERE WERE NO EXTRA GUESTS STAYING ON THE PROPERTY. She says because there was more than one vehicle there that it must be more people. NOT TRUE we each have our vehicles so we don’t have to wait on each other. We have different things we need to do. Now Sunday, the 4th night I am at my family’s house and I get a message from her saying I need to get my things and be out of the house in one hour or the sheriff will come kick us out. We all run back to the house fearing all our passports and suitcases would be in jeopardy , we get there pack everything we bought all the groceries and clothes that we have and make our way out of the house. I contacted vrbo that night to speak to someone but the service was horrible. Since that 4th night we each had to make arrangements to sleep in other places. What a NIGHTMARE this trip has been. Our entire vacation ruined by this lady. This was my first time using VRBO and I’m not sure if it’s VRBO or this lady but I’m certainly considering looking at other options when I book another stay.
