Make lasting family memories while keeping your multi-family, all together in this updated "Smart" Home with newly remodeled Bathrooms and Kitchen, tucked away in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in all of Springfield. Complete with new beds and furniture throughout the house, two dining areas able to accommodate 12 people. Smart TVs in every bedroom including a gaming area with a Multi-Player Cocktail-Style Arcade with theater chairs supporting unlimited play of Nintendo Switch on a 65" TV. YouTube TV access to all tv's with local Chanels.

*Approximately 2400 sq ft
First floor:
*Front living room with 65" Smart TV. USB outlets and Google voice command lamps. Just say, "Hey Google, lights on" or Hey Google, lights off".

*Coffee Bar: Equipped with Breville espresso/cappuccino machine, French press, and Cuisinart 14 cup coffee maker. Assorted espresso and flavored coffees, regular and decaf. Hot chocolate, assorted flavors of coffee mate, assorted flavors of tea.

Dining Area: Table and cushioned chairs seats 8. Right across from the coffee bar.

*Kitchen: Updated kitchen with new cabinets, large sink and a Delta touch faucet. Fully equipped with place servings for 12 for indoor and outdoor as well as children's plates, cups and silverware. Large assortment of pots, pans and skillets. Rice cooker, slow cooker, hand mixer, 6qt kitchen aid mixer, 4 slice toaster and an assortment of snacks for your enjoyment. Kitchen table and chairs seats 6.

*Laundry room: Washer & dryer along with detergent wash pods and dryer sheets. 1/2 Bath/ (3.5) located off laundry room.

*Second Living Space: Gas fireplace, 65" Smart TV, YouTube TV provided with local channels. Google voice command lamps. Just say, "Hey Google, lights on" or Hey Google, lights off".

Bedrooms:
*Master bedroom with an adjustable split king bed, 42" Smart TV, Light switch controls the ceiling light and fan and Google Voice commands control the lamps. Just say, "Hey Google, lights on" or "Hey Google, lights off" to control the lamps. Luggage rack in the closet. Newly remodeled smaller master full bathroom with walk in shower (*Bathroom 1), body soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided. "Black make-up" washcloths along with Neutrogena make-up remover wipes are provided so white towels and washcloths can stay as white as we can.
*Bedroom 2: New queen bed with all new furniture, 42" Smart TV, luggage rack in the closet. Light switch controls the ceiling fan and light and Google Voice commands control the lamps. Just say, "Hey Google, lights on" or "Hey Google, lights off" to control the lamps.

*Hall Bathroom (2): Newly remodeled bathroom with soaking tub with shower. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap provided. Baby wash, kids shampoo and kids body wash also provided.

Upstairs:
Gaming area with 65" Smart TV, Nintendo Switch with electronic games like Mario Party, Mario Tennis, and Mario Cart. Family friendly games such as Uno Attack, Scattagories, Scrabble and Trouble. Cocktail Table arcade with many older games like Ms. Pacman along with over 1,000 games. Lighted theater chairs for your comfort. Hanging tent for the little ones along with a CordaRoy's convertable full size Bean bag chair for added comfort while watching TV or playing games.

Bathroom 3: Newly Remodeled full bath with walk-in shower. Body soap, shampoo and conditioner provided.

Bedroom 4: Brand new furniture and King size bed. 42" Smart TV with two chair-and-a-half pull out twin beds. Two luggage racks in the closet along with bedding for pull out beds and additional soft pillows. Light switch controls the ceiling fan and light and Google Voice commands control the lamps. Just say, "Hey Google, lights on" or "Hey Google, lights off" to control the lamps.

*Outdoors:
Patio dining table, umbrella and chairs along with additional cushioned chairs and loveseat as well as a portable hammock for a relaxing time under the large trees! Citronella candles and tiki torches available for those pesky misquotes while enjoying the outdoor space. Yard games such as giant Jenga, giant connect four, corn hole and kid-friendly ax throwing game. All outdoor games are located in the laundry room.

Best.Stay. Ever. We reserved this home for the week of our son's wedding, and we could not have chosen a better home. The location was perfect, but the hosts were even more perfect. They have thought of everything! Nancy and Mike were so welcoming and considerate, setting everything up for our family's specific needs. The home is spotless and beautifully appointed, with plenty of space, a fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar, and a huge backyard complete with firepit, wood, games and s'mores. We had ample space for our family and friends over the course of the week, and enjoyed easy access to restaurants, shops and a great grocery store close by. I would not change one thing about this beautiful home, and I would definitely book again if I were to return with extended family. Thank you, Nancy and Mike!

Immaculately clean home!! This house was perfect for our multi-generation family girl weekend. Nancy has thought of everything needed to make the house comfortable and functional for large groups. The indoor and outdoor spaces are wonderful! I honestly can't think of a single thing that would make this house better. And, it is so clean! This is our 3rd stay here and we will definitely stay again.

I’ve stayed in many private rentals over the years, and this one is definitely at the top! I loved the excellent communication from pre-booking and throughout our stay . Check-in process was smooth and easy. Nancy’s home is located at the end of the street in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and couldn’t have been any nicer. Just looking around you can see all the thought that has gone into furnishing, decorating and stocking her home for us to enjoy. I really can’t think of a thing that wasn’t already provided. Some welcoming snacks, a spotlessly cleaned house, comfortable bedding, plush towels, plenty of supplies and extras of everything. We were there for a girl's trip and to play some Mahjongg. The home was roomy, comfortable and Nancy even provided a card table and chairs for us to use during our stay. Although we didn’t utilize the nicely setup back yard area, we saw quite a nice variety of wildlife…squirrels, chipmunks, groundhogs that visited every day, a fox who decided to take a nap in the back yard, and a flock of wild turkeys! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to even the pickiest of people and we would stay again if in the area. Thanks Nancy for your warm and generous hospitality!

10/10 – Perfect Weekend Getaway

Our group of three families had an incredible weekend at this vacation home. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the owners had put a lot of thought into every detail. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized, making it easy to settle in and feel right at home.Communication with the owners was excellent—they were friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience welcoming and stress-free. The accommodations were truly first-class, with everything we could possibly need already in place. The kids especially loved the game room, which kept them entertained for hours and gave the adults plenty of time to relax.Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better setup for our group, and we’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommended!

I have stayed in many VRBOs, but this one was the absolute best! Everything was just as advertised. Nancy has added so many special touches and was so very easy to work with. Quality towels, bedding, facial and bath tissues! There were snacks for us; excellent instructions for everything in the binder at the property. Can’t say enough about what a great experience this was.

2025 family vacation

Beautiful clean property. Had lots of amenities. Nice friendly staff. Property was as listed. They even provided a playpen and high chair for our grandson. We would stay here again. My daughter was impressed that they even provided infant bath towels. Enjoyed the outdoor amenities too. Great grandpa was grateful for the handicap shower.

Our family of 5 adults and 2 young children recently stayed at Sunset Getaway and I can't say enough good things about our experience! The communication with the host before and during our stay was excellent. The home was comfortably furnished and had everything we needed. There were plenty of bathroom items - soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, extra towels, extra toilet paper, even a few extra toothbrushes. The beds were comfy and there were extra blankets and pillows. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were even snacks provided. Even though it was 80 degrees, we had a bonfire one day so the grandkids could make s'mores, which were provided by the host. We used the gas grill once and it worked great. The swing and the hammock were lots of fun and we enjoyed the outdoor games and all the outdoor seating. The washer and dryer came in handy and detergent and dryer sheets were provided. There were detailed instructions for the house and we found everything to be very clean. Really the attention to detail by the host was wonderful and very much appreciated. And, the location was great - close to grocery, shopping and attractions.

Great place to stay! The house was roomy and nicely decorated. It was super clean and in a good location close to Bass Pro Aquarium. The large back yard and patio are an ideal place for a group to hang out. The snacks and bottled water that were left for us were much appreciated. Nancy kindly checked on us throughout the stay to make sure we had everything we needed.

Spacious Property with Attention to ALL the details

This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. It is impeccably clean and well stocked will essentials plus extras like snacks and coffee varieties. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean and spacious. The backyard is beautiful and perfect for games and relaxing. Common areas have plenty of comfortable seating. Communication was excellent. The owner, Nancy, was informative and attentive. This was the perfect location for our family gathering. We give this property our highest recommendation!

Perfect Graduation Getaway

My family stayed at the Sunset Getaway for my daughter’s graduation from MSU. The house well exceeded our expectations, even that of my hard to please mother!!! Nancy thought of every detail to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable!! The house is equipped with every amenity you need and a lot more. We loved the spacious and beautiful bedrooms. The three full bathrooms (and an additional half bath) were a huge plus for my family. This home is nicely equipped with a TV in each bedroom and seven TVs in total. My husband loved the game console with 600 games!! The outside space was also very nice to chill in between our planned activities in Springfield. The location is very convenient and there is plenty of parking space. I highly recommend the Sunset Getaway and would definitely stay here again!!

Enjoy your Springfield Vacation Here

We absolutely love staying here! We have a group of adults coming for a bowling tournament each year and this house fits all of our needs perfectly. There are plenty of spacious bedrooms, activities, and overall comforts of home that put this property over the top! The home is well maintained and pristinely cleaned, and very quiet. Communication with Nancy is professional, with quick responses and pride in providing a great experience. The backyard is great for playing catch, socializing with friends, or enjoying nature. Inside is plenty of room for a family or group meal, and space for everyone to have their own little corner. We highly recommend staying here, as all of our friends rate this house as one of the best they’ve stayed at ever.

Beautiful, immaculate home in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of space and entertainment options for all ages. The hospitality was top notch! Approximately 30 minutes from Branson, another family-friendly community. Situated blocks from the Battlefield Mall and minutes from Missouri State University (MSU), Evangel University (EU) and both Cox and Mercy hospitals, your drive to shopping and the most popular dining locations are minutes away. If Branson is your rousing destination, access to HWY 65 is only eight minutes away.
