Amazing views 2 blocks from main downtown

The Outside Inn has it all. This home in the heart of Crested Butte, 2 blocks from Elk Street, one block from Camp Four Coffee, and directly across the street from the bus to the mountain - you can't beat it. With high-end sheets, mattresses, towels, hot tub and a well-stocked kitchen, it's the perfect place to come home to after a day of adventures.
The space
This is a rare three story home in the heart of CB. There are 7 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, two common living spaces, two decks, a backyard patio for the summer, and two staircases. Come enjoy a comfortable basecamp for all of your CB adventures. There is something for everyone including an incredible view for those who just want to curl up on the couch for the day, two smart TVs, lounge in the hot tub as you watch the sunset light up Mount Crested Butte, and several desks and work spaces for those WFHers.

The third floor feels like a "master suite" with a king bedroom and bathroom as well as desk/work area, deck with fantastic north views down valley, and a separate sitting area and TV. The second floor has the main living/common space and two bedrooms (one king and one queen) that share a bathroom and that entire area can be closed off from the common area to create a family or group "suite". The first floor has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. One king and one room with 2 bunk beds (4 twins total) and a bathroom between them - direct access from the king room. One room has a queen with direct access to a bathroom and a room with one bunkbed (two twin beds) right across the hall.
Guest access
Keyless smart lock entry with a code and the entire house will be yours. The garage is not available to guests, but there are six parking spaces and free additional street parking as needed.
Other things to note
Please note, I apologize that there are no pets allowed and no exceptions. The wood fireplace shown is not operable. For small children there is a Baby Bjorn pack and play, crib sheets, stroller, a high chair, two baby gates, a children's hiking backpack, a few basics for children's dishes/utensils, and a some simple toys and books.

Perfect

Highly recommended and would definitely stay again! Kitchen and bathrooms all well stocked. Great location to in-town grocery, restaurants, stores and bars. Bus stop for resort right literally right a cross the street.

Excellent property right in the town of Crested Butte. Property manager was quick to respond!

Wonderful home, and I enjoyed my stay! The property manager was excellent and the house was beautiful! Would absolutely stay here again!

Summer CO trip

We loved the house and especially the location. It had plenty of room for our family, and even had baby supplies that came in handy! Frankki the hose was easy to contact and so sweet! We will definitely be back!

Spectacular location and home!

This home is an excellent location! A couple blocks from all the stores and restaurants as well as the local supermarket. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The grill and outdoor table was perfect for our group. Communication from the host was quick. (We needed more propane and he had it there within an hour or so!) I highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

Mom Son ski trip

This home was ideal for our 10 person group. The location is super convenient, shuttle picked us up right from our door. Close to all the fun and food on Elk street, we walked to dinners, groceries, coffee. Beds were very comfortable, and lots of throws, made for great hang time at night. Newly remodeled kitchen was very nice! We had a blast!

Great place to stay!

Very nice home with great amenities. It was nice not to have to worry about driving everywhere! Very close to the cute downtown area, stores and restaurants. Shuttle to the ski area was right out the front door. Consensus from our family was that the beds were not very comfortable but just our opinion. Home was laid out nicely for privacy. Would recommend and we hope to return next year! As a side note the hot tub was great!

In town for our son's wedding

We booked our VRBO home almost a year ago for my son's wedding on July 27, 2024. I emailed a few questions before we had arrived and had received replies back in a timely manner. House was perfect and had all of the necessary items that you may need in a home. Home was very clean and very easy to get to town, a few blocks away. I would defiantly rent from this host again.

Perfect ladies' getaway

This house was the perfect place for our ladies' weekend getaway. It's an easy walk to the main street downtown and all the shops and restaurants, and so fun to have as a "basecamp" location to enjoy the home itself. We enjoyed nights out as well as cooking in the fully appointed home. The back patio was perfect for morning coffee and evening gatherings and plenty of room for all of us. Great communication with the host, lovely location and views, very clean and well-appointed. THANK YOU for helping to create a memorable weekend!

GREAT house for our family group of 10!

Our family *LOVED* staying at this home. Everything about the house was warm and welcoming--beginning with welcome basket and handwritten note from Frankki, the owner. The well equipped kitchen and living spaces were open and light filled, bedrooms were comfortable and offered plenty of space, even those with two sets of bunk beds. EASILY accommodated 10 people and still allowed for both privacy and comfortable group gathering. Location was fantastic--directly across from the bus stop, close to restaurants/shopping. We've stayed in many wonderful homes in CB...but this is our favorite, hands down.

Top of the list was Frankki's communication. It was quick, positive and very much appreciated! The house was perfect for our group. We had up to 11 adults and 2 small children (ages 2 and 1). The house worked very well for us. The living area/kitchen is on the second floor and was a great space to eat, cook and hang out (the house included a baby gate that allowed us to block off access to a staircase going down to the first floor). The kitchen was well appointed, as was the rest of the house. One of our kids was able to leave their stroller, crib and high chair at home and use those provided by the house. That made their air travel much easier (thanks, Frankki!). The house is two blocks south of Elk Avenue and a block and a half from Camp 4 Coffee. It is close to Clark's Market and to an organic grocery store across from Camp 4 Coffee. Everything was super convenient and very walkable! We had an issue with a shower valve one evening and Frankki was able to locate and send over a contractor that night. The repair required a part that the contractor picked up and installed the next morning. He was a great guy and made the repair quickly and as unobtrusively as possible. Our family had a great week and commented that it was one of the best family vacations we have ever taken! We would enthusiastically recommend this property!

Wedding weekend in CB

Frankki's property was fantastic for our group of friends who were in town for a wedding. Plenty of bedrooms and privacy, with communal space and a beautifully renovated kitchen. The location is extremely central/walkable to everything in town. Frankki was very responsive and shared lots of local tips. Highly recommend this house for your stay in Crested Butte!

Super House for a Group

The house is open and sunny with great views of the Butte. The Master Suite on the 3rd Floor is outstanding. Kitchen well equipped for cooks with lots of room. Property Manager very attentive as well as host. So convenient to the entire town.

Big house, well appointed, great location

We used this house to host a group who came to CB to do trail runs. It was spacious, clean, well laid out. It has nice outdoor area for hanging out but we did not use it due to lots of rain this week! Would be lovely in better weather. Highly recommend.

Bliss in Butte

The house was just as described on VRBO and perfect for our needs: 3 families needed lots of bedrooms and bathrooms in the heart of the town of Crested Butte. The shuttle was right in front of the house! Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked with all the things you would need. frankie was a great host and very responsive to any questions or needs.

Birthday Family Ski Trip to CB

House worked very well for multiple families with adult kids and their mates. Close to main street and bus to ski area so no car needed. Yay! Kitchen may be tight for a large group yet the house makes it up with bedrooms, parking and dining room space.

Incredible stay

We had the most amazing time stay. The location couldn’t be more perfect with a quick walk to restaurants and bars and the bud shuttle to the mountain picking us up directly in front of the property. The house comfortably fit 16 adults and had a great space for family style dinners. The host was so responsive and helpful throughout the week and gave us really good local advice!! Beautiful views. I’m telling you this is a house you can’t beat in the butte

This home blends the absolute best of all worlds for a special gathering. It is right in the heart of town, walking distance to all amenities. The free shuttle bus to the mountain picks up directly across the street, making it just about as easy as a ski in/ski out home on the mountain in the winter. The common spaces are cozy no matter the size of the group and the sleeping spaces allow a lot of flexibility in how to use the home.
