Hi Kristy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — we truly appreciate it. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations, and we do wish we had been given the chance to fully resolve the issue during your stay. Regarding the air conditioning, our maintenance technician did respond promptly and identified that the system needed time to properly dethaw in order to function. Unfortunately, we were never made aware that the issue persisted after that visit. Had we known, we would have gladly brought in window units to ensure your comfort. As for the smoke smell, we apologize for the inconvenience. The home is strictly non-smoking, and we take that policy seriously. We appreciate you letting us know right away, and we acted quickly to provide an air purifier, though we regret that it didn’t fully resolve the issue for you. The property is indeed an older historic home, and while there is some natural sloping in areas of the floor due to its age, it’s not nearly as pronounced as described. Nonetheless, we understand how that might have felt disorienting at first. We’re glad you found our location convenient and appreciated the responsiveness of our team. We’ll continue working to improve the experience for our future guests and hope we have the opportunity to host you again under better circumstances.
