Explore the grounds once known as “Hollywood’s Playground” -- frequented by Gable, Garbo, and Rogers -- all from the comfort of this 3 bedroom, 2 bath private residence.

Custom decorated with original art, vintage photographs, and artisan-crafted furnishings, this townhome is an end unit --affording privacy and plenty of sunlight. The Great Room features a soaring vaulted ceiling, a tiled hearth with gas fireplace, and mountain views from the dining area. The recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms have been updated while preserving a playful hacienda aesthetic.

This home is perfect for those who love to entertain -- boasting a fully stocked kitchen, a patio grill, an abundance of dinnerware and serving dishes, a dining room table that seats six, and coordinating outdoor tables and chairs that can seat up to 8. With three distinct patio areas, you’ll always find the perfect place to enjoy sun or shade with a cup of coffee, glass of iced tea, or pitcher of margaritas.

Classic film aficionados will appreciate its view of La Casa (Greta Garbo’s winter hideaway) as well as its proximity to the Dorothy Arzner and Frank Capra suites…soak up the energy of this area Capra referred to as the “Shangri-La of script-writing” so you can put the finishing touches on that screenplay or polish your next pitch!

Family friendly conveniences include a Babyletto Origami mini crib, an Ingenuity feeding/booster seat, a Mountain Buggy Nano stroller, children’s dishware, and an assortment of toys, bikes, scooters, tennis racquets, ball hopper, and pool inflatables. *Note, though this unit is family friendly, it is NOT child-proofed.

Our community, Santa Rosa Cove, offers 9 pools with hot tubs as well as three tennis courts. (This unit is ideally located -- a 30 second walk to the pool across the greenbelt, and within a 2 minute walk to another nearby pool and tennis court.)

Though you will NOT have access to specific guest privileges at La Quinta Resort (like room service, the pools, tennis courts or fitness center) you’re still welcome to take advantage of the resort’s many public amenities: the various restaurants and outdoor entertainment at the Plaza, Spa La Quinta and its salon, private lessons at the tennis club, as well as rounds and lessons at two golf courses…all just moments from your front door.

In addition, Old Town La Quinta -- with its quaint shops, Sunday Farmer’s Market, and popular restaurants – is a leisurely stroll or short car ride away.

And to top it off, this unit is dog-friendly, so you can bring the entire family along on your desert getaway! Please note that pets require a nightly pet fee and management approval.
