I’d like to share feedback from our recent two-night stay as a family of four, including our 15-pound puppy. While the host was responsive, making logistics easier, we noticed a persistent odd smell throughout the unit, which was hard to ignore. There were some issues with the furniture—the sofa had a broken hand rest and squeaked constantly, and the bed was uncomfortable and noisy, making restful sleep difficult. The most unsettling part was an interaction with the downstairs neighbor. One evening, after leaving our puppy inside with a camera while we went to dinner, we returned to find a note on the door stating renters weren’t allowed to have dogs and reminding us about quiet hours. The note also mentioned noise from footsteps travels throughout the building, which made us feel unwelcome. On second day morning, as we were leaving with my puppy, I used to napkin to clean my puppy's paws and disposed that napkin in the sewer after failing to access the trash bin. The neighbor immediately confronted me, demanding to know what I’d thrown and continued to show anger despite my polite explanation and apology. It was creepy feeling as he came from nowhere and felt like he was watching us from a hidden place.Due to these experiences, especially the neighbor’s behavior, we felt watched and uncomfortable and don’t plan to return.
