In this former mansion built in 1889 by a winegrower's family, you will find everything you need to spend pleasant moments with family or friends of up to 14 people.
The old cellar has been converted into a garage and the vats have been maintained. We have been keen to preserve the charm of the old with the old doors, the cement tiles, the parquet floors, the mouldings and the volumes by combining them with resolutely modern materials in order to give very interesting contrasts.
The house in the centre of a typical village in the Corbières invites you to let go. You will find in Montseret the old-fashioned charm of yesteryear with its small streets filled with stone houses and Mediterranean vegetation.
For lovers of wide open spaces, the hilly paths of scrubland, pine forest and vineyards offer splendid views.
For your comfort the house, although we have kept the historical assets of the building, we have
provided all the comforts of a modern establishment (ducted air conditioning like in a hotel in each of the rooms, aluminium windows and bay windows with hidden opening for greater light, heated swimming pool with salt treatment, thermodynamic hot water tank, 40 cm insulation of the attic, etc.).
The exteriors offer around the 10 x 4m swimming pool, three distinct terrace spaces to indulge in a good meal between the kitchen and the outdoor plancha, rest under the pergola or simply sunbathe around the pool.
The central position of the gîte allows you to go to the grocery store or the playground less than 200m away.
The calm of the Montseret nights will invite you to contemplate the sky free of any nocturnal pollution before a beautiful restful night
