La Petite Chouette, a typical Provençal house, nestled in the heart of a large plot of land planted with trees and flowers, will delight the whole family.
The small stream that runs along the property, the swimming pool, its multiple terraces, will allow everyone to relax in peace.
Close to all amenities (5 minutes by car), located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, in the heart of the Vaucluse vineyards, many possibilities will allow you to occupy the days before a good meal on the terrace.

La Petite Chouette is an old stone mazet completely renovated and built on two floors.
The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen with its dining area, as well as a warm living room that opens onto the large terrace with views of the fields and the lower gardens.
Outside, enjoy a small glass of local wine under the awning or a small grill on the main terrace, in the middle of the flowery gardens.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, each specially appointed to maximise your Provençal experience.

The belvedere is located in the original house. With its beamed ceilings, this very cosy room will offer you a spectacular view of the field and the gardens.
This spacious room, which occupies the entire upper floor, is equipped with both a queen size bed, and a private alcove with a single bed (ideal for 1 child or an adult).

The Atrium, the latest addition to La Petite Chouette, with its movable bay windows, will give you the feeling of sleeping in the garden in complete privacy.
This room is equipped with a queen bed, portable air conditioning, a wardrobe and its own private outdoor terrace.

The small bathroom/toilet, is located upstairs, between the double bed and the small adaptable alcove.
A small sink, a stone shower and a toilet offer all the necessary amenities, but it should be noted that this room is relatively small.


After a few steps among the olive and plum trees of the upper garden, you will discover the private swimming pool, and its incomparable view of the village of Lafare.
An old restored stone pool, it should be noted that it is relatively deep. Therefore, special supervision and vigilance should be ensured with young children.

All along the property flows a small, quiet stream all year round, enhancing the feeling of peace and calm.

Depending on the season, don't hesitate to let yourself be tempted to taste the fruits that you can pick all over the garden (apricots, figs, cherries, almonds, etc.).

You will find in the property a large parking lot (up to 3 vehicles).



Traveler access
Located in the lower part of the very typical Provençal village of Lafare, La Petite Chouette is a small haven of tranquillity, offering a secluded location, yet just a few minutes' walk from the village, where you will find a petanque court and a cosy little local bistro offering delicious seasonal cuisine.

Located at the foot of the famous Dentelles, many hikes are directly accessible from the house, for all audiences and all desires (from novice to climbing expert)

A few kilometres away, many other activities will delight lovers of all kinds: the villages and vineyards of Beaumes de Venise, Vacqueyras, Gigondas, Vaison la Romaine and its Roman remains, Mont Ventoux, Roussillon and its ochre quarries...


Other important notes
La Petite Chouette has only one indoor bathroom.

The property can accommodate 6 people, but given the modest size of the bathroom, a maximum of 4 adults is allowed.
The property is ideal for a family with children, 1 or 2 couples.

Please also note that the stairs in the house are narrow and circular.
