Saunders Vineyard Villa offers luxury amenities and breathtaking views. Surrounded by vineyards and located steps from the Hearst Ranch Winery Tasting Room, this exquisite home is your gateway to Paso Robles. The tiled 50' pool and jacuzzi beg you to soak in the beauty of wine country.

Estate: The estate features vineyards, row crops, grazing pastures, winery, and wine tasting room. At the heart of the estate sits the 6,000+ sq foot Saunders Vineyard Villa.

Location and Views: Located 10 min from downtown along the Salinas River in the serene Paso Robles countryside. Picturesque views of gently rolling hills dotted in oak trees and sprawling farms.

Kitchen: Gourmet professional kitchen with bar seating and kitchen nook. High-end appliances; Viking range, two dishwashers, two refrigerators, cookware, flatware, tableware, and glassware. Windows look out to sweeping views of the pool and hills beyond.

Outside/Poolside: Professional landscaping encircles the home. Poolside lounges surround the tiled pool and hot tub. Enjoy cocktails from the various outdoor seating arrangements. Enjoy grilling on the Santa Maria Style BBQ or the propane BBQ, or take in a game of bocce ball on the court. *Ask about heating the pool, daily rates apply.

Garage/Game room: The Garage has been turned into a game room featuring a ping pong table, air hockey and tv.

Dining Room: Large formal dining room located off the kitchen seats 12. French doors lead to more stunning views and access to the outdoor lounge areas.

Living Room: Large picture windows and French doors beckon your gaze from the living room. Comfortable couches and chairs surround the fireplace; a large flat screen tv hung above. Enjoy socializing with friends around a small game table and chairs.

The house is great! The hot tub was heated the entire stay so that you could enjoy the gorgeous view outside. The house is even better than the photographs and plenty of space for a large group. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking items if you plan staying in for meals. The house far exceeded my parties' expectations!

This property on the Hearst Ranch Winery was awesome and Jim was a great host. We were bringing together 2 multi-generational families to celebrate my parent’s 40th anniversary and this was the perfect place to do that. Plenty of space for everyone and a beautiful kitchen that became the heart of all of our celebrating. For minor issues, Jim was easy to contact & made himself immediately available to help. 10/10 would recommend!

Spacious and comfortable house

Everything was to our expectation but the pool real dirty. We didn't even consider getting on the water even though it was hot and 95 degrees.

The perfect Villa

The Villa has it all! Large open kitchen, plenty of bedrooms and excellent outdoor space with a large pool, BBQ, bocce ball. Less than 2-minute walk to the Hearst Ranch Winery. We met Jim Saunders as we headed out for a morning walk and he suggested that we walk up the hill along the vineyard. He was right, the views are amazing! Overall, better than any resort we could have booked. We definitely will be back.

Good Friends Paso Robles Wine Tasting Get Away

We had a terrific time at the Hearst Ranch House. It was fully up to description and expectations. The host, Jim S, responded very promptly to a couple of small requests and was very friendly in giving us the history of the home and area. We loved the area and wine tasting. The kitchen was well equipped to prepare wonderful meals. Ample refrigerator/freezer, dishwashers etc. All told, an excellent home for 5 couples with fully accommodating 5 + primary bedrooms. We loved it.

AMAZING - BEAUTIFUL VIEWS - EXCELLENT HOST

My family and I stayed at the house for my Sons Wedding. It was absolutely beautiful, the house is amazing, spacious we hung out at night by the fire, in front of the heated pool and hot tub. We had the rehearsal dinner next door at the wine tasting room and invited a few friends up after. The host was great! Jim communicated right back when we couldn't figure out the Hot Tub and Debbie was the sweetest. The house is 15 min. from town. PERFECT!!! Every room has french doors out to the patio. I couldn't have picked a better home. HIGHLY Reccomended!!!

Great location and beautiful property!

We rented this beautiful home for my husbands birthday with friends. I couldn’t have been happier with our choice! There was plenty of room for 10 adults, the kitchen was enormous and had plenty of room for entertaining. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The owner and property manager were extremely responsive, and they coordinated a wine tasting for our group at the winery just down the hill (walking distance) from the house. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this house for a large group!

Wonderful Villa

This is a beautiful home! All the bedrooms are en suite & spacious, the setting is quiet & peaceful, the pool and jacuzzi are clean and ready for fun. The best things about the house is that it is sparkling clean, and completely equipped for guests!!! There are Kleenex & hand soap in the bathrooms, shampoo & conditioner; bath towels & pool towels, fully equipped kitchen, including everything a chef needs to cook & serve; a full catering kitchen, condiments, etc. we are already planning on returning in the spring for another get together. Fantastic property! Our best to the hosts & manager!!!

Awesome Property!

If I could I would give this property an overall rating on 10 stars! I rented this property back in July as a quick weekend get away for my husbands birthday. We hosted a group of close friend and family and we were all able to enjoy the beauty of this property. Upon pulling up this property we were in awe of the beauty of the place. Once we checked in it just continued to awe us with everything that was provided. We all really enjoyed the stay and everyone still talks about how much they loved the property. I definitely recommend this property if you're looking for something lowkey for you and your group away from the busy city.

Best Weekend Getaway

Our stay at the Saunders Vineyard Villa was one of the best weekend getaways I have ever had. This sprawling estate sits atop a small hill and overlooks endless vineyards with not a single other house in sight. It's quiet, private, and spacious - both the incredibly large backyard and house. I came here with my family along with two other families with young kids (ages 2-6 years old) and we comfortably fit all kids and adults in the house with room to spare. The house was pristine, decorated well, and included all the amenities you could ever need. The house manager as well as the owner were responsive all weekend, and very kind and compassionate towards our needs. Our stay also included a wine tasting at the vineyard just a 2 minute walk down the hill. With young kids, this was so convenient and saved us from packing up the car and driving. We were able to enjoy our tasting and then walk home. I could not recommend this place more. We will definitely make this an annual trip! Thanks Jim, Margo, and Kaci for an excellent vacation!

Great property and hosts

We enjoyed this property immensely. The owners were great and very accommodating of our requests. The property manager was super helpful and responsive. The home and yard are beautiful- really the pictures didn’t do it justice. We used the property with two other families and there was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and enjoy the space. The staff at the tasting room right on site was also lovely and took great care of us. The home is well stocked with plenty of towels, extra linens and activities and everything you need to enjoy the kitchen and bbq areas. We’d definitely visit again.

Owners Jim and Debi are life-long natives to Paso Robles. They are the owners of Hearst Ranch Winery and Saunders Vineyard. Hearst Ranch Winery's Paso Robles Tasting Room is located down the hill on the property. Jim is one of the few native Vintners born in Paso Robles. Together they have two sons- both work in either the family construction business or at winery. They have a passion for making fine wines and the beautiful community of Paso Robles.
