Aloha and Welcome to Kanaloa at Kona, #3602. Turn moments into memories with your friends and family at this fantastic property. Enjoy an incredible ocean view at this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, high-speed internet, beach views, and more!

Upon entering #3602 at Kanaloa in Kona, you will be welcomed by breathtaking ocean views in the living area of the house. There is an open layout of the living room, dining room, and kitchen. The living room has ample seating, with two couches and chairs. Relax and play some games or stream your favorite show on the smart TV. Eat inside at the dining table or eat Hawaiian style outside on your private lanai, where there is another dining table. Watch the palm trees sway and the waves crash at the black beach next to this property. There is a wet bar outside for your convenience. The kitchen is located off the dining room and hallway. It has all the gadgets to cook any meal.

The guest bathroom is located across from the guest room near the living areas of the property. Enjoy a double vanity sink, beautiful wood cabinets, granite countertops, and a large walk-in tile shower. The guest room is across the hall and has two twin beds. Enjoy the garden view from your space, close the blinds, watch some TV, and enjoy the AC.

The primary suite has ample privacy and space. Relax in the king bed, and watch your favorite show from the TV and enjoy the AC unit in the bedroom, on those extra hot days. The primary suite has a large walk-in closet with lots of drawer storage and space to hang items. The ensuite bathroom has a large walk-in shower with beautiful metallic ''mermaid'' tile. Enjoy the double vanity sink and granite countertops.

Sit outside on your private lanai and take in all there is to offer. This property is located on a private bluff and looks down on a black sand beach to one side and an open ocean to the other. Enjoy a cup of Kona Coffee and listen to the waves crash as the world wakes up in Hawaii.

*Please Note: This unit has about 5 stairs to get to the front door. This home is equipped with central AC.

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or decor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating, and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve. The Ocean Pool is scheduled to be closed from May 01st through May 20th, 2023, for resurfacing. The Quiet Pool, Main Pool, and spa will still be available during this time.

This condo was as listed. It was absolutely perfect!!! The extras the condo had was an added bonus like the snorkeling and tennis stuff!! Only complaint was there was not enough hot water for everyone to shower it ran out very quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our 2nd time at this resort and this condo. Beautiful, quiet location. Condo is well supplied with everything you need including snorkeling/beach gear.

The rental unit was very nice. We had a few minor issues that were dealt with quickly. The view is phenomenal and the grounds and pool were fantastic.

Comfortable Relaxing Stay

Loved this property in beautiful Hawaii. Would rate it better for adults due to the lava cliff beach, however, quieter children would enjoy the three pools and game courts. Our unit was well stocked with everything you need for a beach outing with many beaches nearby.

Perfect location

This complex was amazing. The pools, ocean views and amenities made it a wonderful choice. The ocean views from the patio were wonderful. The unit provided all the beach/snorkeling gear we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at multiple Kanaloa at Kona units and this is one of our favourites. Cozy beds, clean unit, nicely decorated.

Everything was accurate as listed, and the condo was well stocked and equipped for a great beach trip! One thing is the property never replied back to my request for a later check out

Quiet oceanfront setting

We enjoyed time spent on the beautiful oceanfront lanai watching everything from paddle boarders to boats or just watching the waves come in. The unit is well appointed and close to places to eat and shop. It’s a wonderful place to spend vacation.

Excellent!!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, spacious condo with lots of closet space, well stocked kitchen. Lanai had fantastic view of the bay. Very short walk down to the bay to snorkel, saw lots of fish there. Would definitely stay here again!

Waterfront Condo

Fantastic views of whales, kayakers, sunsets, evening manta viewing group. Walking distance to pickleball, shops, grocery, movie theaters, restaurants, & water excursions.

Beautiful week on the Big Island

Beautiful views. Great pools. Quiet, comfortable. Well appointed kitchen. Nice supply of beach equipment. Had a problem with the sliding door to the lanai but it was promptly fixed. Loved the view off the lanai where we could watch the Manta tours sunset tours.

Family Vacation

This unit and the surrounding property are gorgeous. The view from the lanai is stunning and we couldn't get enough of it. The furnishings in the unit were luxurious and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utensils we required. Also having all the beach and snorkeling gear in the unit was a nice plus. This was our 2nd time staying at Kanaloa at Kona and we would happily do it again.

Beautiful Ocean View

Beautiful view from balcony. We love the location, only 5 mins away from KTA grocery store and many restaurants. Not as busy as downtown Kona area, more quiet, relaxing area. If you are a golfer, the golf course is literally next door of the complex. We love the facility: pool, outdoor common area for BBQ, tennis, ping pong. We used them all.

Very comfortable and relaxing condo

The condo complex has three pools and tennis courts, which were great for keeping the kids busy. The Oceanside pool has a fantastic sunset view and there is a pebble beach just a minute away. Overall a really convenient place to stay. There are a few grills near the pools, not quite convenient, so a downside if that’s important to you. Otherwise you’re just a 15 minute drive from downtown Kona or Captain Cook, both with great food options. The condo itself is in good shape, we’ll maintained and comfortable. The lanai looks out on the manta ray snorkeling spot, so there’s a light party off shore every night, which is fun.

Gorgeous View, in neen of repairs

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed in this unit for many years and used ti love it, especially for the views. Now, sadly it is in disrepair, many things broken, pantry not stacked well at all like it used to be.

Great view & location

The property was nice, views were excellent & location was great. Only negatives were the thermostat did not allow for a setting below 73 degrees which is fine for most, but not 50+ yr old woman prone to hot flashes. Unfortunately, my husband & I were in guest room & we’re used to sleeping at 68 degrees. Did not get a good night’s sleep the whole time we were there even with 3 fans in the bedroom. Not an issue if you’re in the master suite - it has a secondary mini split a/c.

Wonderful Place!

Pros: Fantastic view and location. The grounds are extremely well kept, and the neighborhood is quiet. Small beaches nearby, as is a supermarket and food. Unit is big, lots of room, everything is as pictured except that it is darker and has aged a bit. Bed was good, ac was good.Cons: Not the cleanest place, has dust buildup (esp on some doors, and please don't look at the top of the refrigerator), appliances and dishes needed cleaning. The rollup blinds on the balcony are decaying and shed tons of particles when moved. Dishwasher smells of mildew. A wonderful location and unit that could use elbow grease to get it up to the quality it should be at.

Clean well situated condo with everything you need

The condo is very well maintained and beautifully clean. It has everything you could need from cooking utensils to boogie boards. The lanai looks to the south and at night you can watch the manta ray boats but the sunset is out of view. Still a lovely relaxing. Pretty good snorkeling in the bay that tje condo overlooks. The only issue we had was that it is a downstairs condo and so you hear all the footsteps from above. Since people are arriving from different time zones this messed with our sleep on a couple of nights.

Great location, amenities and views, roomy, and has a/c

Enjoyed our 12 night stay here, nice size for longer stays if desired. Liked having all the beach gear available and starter kits for dishwasher, washing machine and toilet paper. Living areas and bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Best mattress I have slept on in any rental or hotel. Ac worked well. The tv took some getting used to, with the different remotes. Pool areas were very nice, lots of BBQs if you look around, they are spread out. Suggestions: some of the kitchen items may need repair like the dishwasher door, it fell on my foot a couple of times and I was bruised for 4 days, my email complaint to guest services never received a reply. The microwave worked off and on, the glass try kept slipping off and not rotating. The cupboard doors need better hinges so they don't reopen and slap you in the face when you don't close them all the way. Maybe some bar stools for the counter? Otherwise, the ninja blender worked great and other items were fine. Would recommend and stay again
