This cute, comfy cabin is secluded enough that you'll feel like you're away from it all, but super close to restaurants, shopping, hiking, and more (War Women Dell, Black Rock Mountain, Talullah Gorge, Lake Burton, and Lake Rabun are all a 30-minute drive or less).

There are 2 bedrooms (king and queen beds) each with its own bath, a deck with ample seating, a fully stocked kitchen, plus a fireplace, grill, and a garage/rec room with a pool table, cornhole, darts, and couches. We've got plenty of games and books, too.

Kick back and relax on the deck or head to town to enjoy great shopping and eating.

Comfortable with great view

We had a great stay. The view was amazing, we enjoyed coffee on the porch. Very peaceful, yet close to downtown Clayton. The house has everything we needed. Check-in was easy. Relaxing visit!

A perfect place to weather the storm

This home had it all, and we were grateful as our stay was extremely rainy. The indoor fireplace and the warmth of the house, in general, was quite comforting.Stocked with everything you could want while indoors, it was a short trip to Tallulah Falls as well.Our stay was perfect and a would definitely recommend it to others.

2nd stay

This was our second stay at this cabin and we loved it just as much this time around. The house is great, has everything you need, clean, comfortable, Jen is great to work with. We love Clayton and the surrounding areas and look forward to staying here again the next time we come for a mountain getaway.

The cabin was everything we hoped for, so convenient to Clayton and so many areas we wanted to see while we were in area. Very comfortable, lovely deck to relax on too.

Perfect getaway!

This cabin was so homey and had everything you could need. Downtown Clayton has great food, and we hiked all weekend without having to drive far to trails. It was a great trip!

Girls Trip

This was an amazing place to stay. It was perfect for our annual girls trip. Great location! This cabin is very cozy. The owners are great and the cabin had everything we needed. Look forward to staying again.

Nice place in the mountains

Nice place perfect for our size group. House was like advertised and overall very good. Check in was easy and we had no issues so we did not need to contact anyone. My only complaints are that the secondary bed was not comfortable. The grill was very dirty when we arrived and honestly needs to be replaced but everything else was very good. Amazing views of nature and not to difficult to get to house by car.

Perfect stay!

Do not look any further, this cabin is the perfect place to explore lovely Clayton and the beautiful (green) surroundings. After hiking, shopping around and visiting the best places for a coffee, it was so nice to come back to the cabin, relax on the deck and enjoy the views! The cabin provides everything you can think of and Jenn is a perfect host. Love to come back!

Amazing

We enjoyed our stay here so much. Your so close to many activities (hiking, white water rafting and antique shops). The owner make you feel so at home and you have everything you need and then some.

Screamer mtn cabin review

Our stay was fantastic! Jen and Robb are the most accommodating hosts. They have provided absolutely everything. We loved having coffee on the porch with a beautiful Mountain View. The bed was very comfortable. Can’t wait to stay again!

A Great Escape to the Mountains

Wow a beautiful place fully stocked and loaded with a beautiful view of the sunsets on the mountain. There was a big storm that knocked out power on the mountain and it was comforting when the GeneracGenerator kicked in and we never missed a beat ! Definitely would visit again.

Everything we needed! Absolutely loved everything about this cabin! The cozy couch on the porch was my favorite! The game room in the basement was a fun bonus. Perfect distance from town to feel like you’re in the mountains, but just a hop, skip, and a jump from town!

Treehouse!

We felt like we were living in a treehouse! Such a lovely place - fully stocked, well-appointed and close to so many things. We loved being so close to downtown Clayton AND so many hiking trails. Enjoyed a beer at the brewery after hiking, lunch at Fortify Pi between hikes and relaxing at the cabin after a day in woods. Really enjoyed our time at the cozy cabin.

Screamer Mountain

This was a great place to stay to explore the area. The cabin was very clean, the bedrooms were large, and the view was fabulous from every every room as well as the deck. It was more completely furnished than any VRBO we've stayed at. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck, enjoying the views, watching the hummingbird, and enjoying an adult beverage. Kudos to our hosts!

Not long enough

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it! The house is accurately described and looks even better in person. It was easy to navigate to and only a couple of minutes from town. The house had everything you could need and more. The only problem is that our stay just wasn't long enough! We definitely would love to stay here again the next time we come to Clayton.

This place is perfect. Comfy, clean and convenient. Lot's to do in the area and also a great place to do nothing! Hope to go back! Note: If you struggle with stairs this might not be the best place for you. But the view is sweet!!

We had a fabulous time in this perfect cabin! Great location, gorgeous views, and completely stocked with everything you need. Robb and Jen have been married for 10 years and have 3 kids ages 17 to 21. Robb is a VP of Sales in the data and construction world; Jen is a freelance writer/editor. We live full time in Atlanta but have dreamed about owning a mountain getaway for years. COVID and the unavoidable certainty of soon being empty nesters spurred our search until we found the perfect cabin in Clayton.

We fell in love with this property when we saw it. It was cozy, comfy, and just the perfect size. We love the stone fireplace, the pitched wood ceiling, and the beautiful sunsets from the deck. We love that we’re so close to town and all its amenities (hello Ingles and coffee shops!) while still feeling like we’re away from it all. We like how many great hiking trails and activities that we can get to within a 30-minute drive, but we also love just being able to sit on the deck, enjoy the view, and watch the hummingbirds.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

We’ve got two kayaks and a standup paddle board that guests are welcome to use on nearby Tallulah Lake or Lake Rabun. We’ve also got a pool table, corn hole, games, and darts for your amusement. And did we mention the great deck and sunsets?
