Le Combet - Chezery-forens

Nestled in the Jura Mountains at an altitude of 880 meters, in Chézery-Forens, the gîte is surrounded by nature, just above the hamlet of Noire Combe, right at the start of a hiking trail. On the trail side, Kate and Philippe, the owners, live year-round. On the other side, the gîte (115 m², sleeps 6) opens onto a clearing frequented by chamois. A glass door leads from the private terrace to the living room. The tone of the place is set: contemporary lines, the subtle warmth of wood and stone, and a harmonious palette of whites. The large living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table, a comfortable lounge area, and a wood-burning stove. A step leads from this large room to a hallway which provides access to three spacious and bright bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with a queen-size bed, and one with two single beds and a play area). Beds are made up upon request. On the other side: two bathrooms, one with an integrated toilet, plus a separate toilet, and finally, the laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. Central heating with pellets; logs for the wood-burning stove. A comfortable cottage to stay in, both in summer and winter, located at the foot of hiking trails and close to the Monts Jura ski resorts. Non-smoking cottage. Beds are fully equipped and made up upon arrival at the guests' request. Cleaning and towels are included in the price. Restaurants are available in the village, 4 km away. Regarding internet access, sometimes, due to snow (downed poles) or broken fiber optic cables, we may have to offer guests an Airbox while Orange carries out repairs.
