Relax at the Lake Cabin! Lake front and private dock for the Resort. Free WIFI! Restaurant bar and grill with family dining options just steps away! Beautiful views of the lake! Fresh air and trees around a very beautiful freshwater lake fed by two creeks and a naturally occurring Hot Springs! One of the warmest lakes in western Washington! Public boat launch and parking lot just 500 feet away down the road. Dock your boat at the resort's dock, eat lunch and go back out on the lake for more fun! Water Skiing and tubing are very popular. Swimming off the dock (no life guard) or put your own kayak or stand up paddle board in the water!
One of the best bass-fishing lakes in western Washington, Nahwatzel Lake is open year-round for fishing, and is stocked each spring and fall exclusively with larger rainbow trout averaging a pound a piece. But it also receives larger rainbows from 3 to 8 pounds each, making it a great destination for quality trout fishing! Please no fishing off the Resort dock.

Clean Cozy Comfortable Cabin

This cabin worked well for us as a place to stay while visiting relatives at the lake. The host was quick to respond to questions and the check in process was easy. It would also be a good place to stay near the lake for someone who needed to be able to cook their own meals as there was a good sized refrigerator, plenty of pots and pans, and a hot plate for cooking.

Such a treasure

Great little cabin on a sparkling lake, with good food and a friendly welcome in the restaurant on site. (Don’t miss the biscuits and gravy!) Had all the creature comforts I needed. Note that the “fireplace” is electric, not a wood burner. The kitchen has been enhanced with a chef’s cart, pots and pans, and a two-burner cooker. Also not pictured are the table and chairs and little hibachi outside. Coffee, cocoa, tea, and charcoal were provided.

Great time

I think it should be stated on the listing that to access the dock it is a very steep walk. And also that the only way to get to the bathroom is thru the bedroom. Over all we had a great time and would return.

Nothing special

Our stay was fine, but the property is very different than portrayed on the website. The cabins are literly in a parking lot and the lake access for resort visitors is no more than 25 feet wide, barely enough roomforone familyor group.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin was cozy and comfy for 2, definitely felt over crowed with 4 adults. Beautiful area. Gwen was SO nice to communicate with and responded promptly. We would stay again if needing lodging in the area.

The staff is fantastic and the food GREAT! Ron the Karaoke host is the best. Love coming here to sing and socialize.

Wonderful Stay

This was our second time staying in cabin #2 and it was just as wonderful as our first visit. Relaxing, quiet and clean accommodations. We will visit again in the future.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this quiet, clean and cozy cabin. The host was very nice and replied to us online quickly.. We plan to book again soon.

We stayed in cabin #2 and went to ride the railway a few minutes down the road. All in all the resort and restaurant are amazing. The staff and locals are very friendly. Our only complaint is the double bed.

Awesome Cabin!

My stay was perfect. Great location with lots of activities nearby, access to the lake and good food. Easy to checkin and cabin was just as described. Wifi and TV with a DVD player was great for entertainment.

Lovely stay by the lake

Enjoyed swimming, relaxing, a nice dinner at the restaurant, and just relaxing. Very clean and comfortable. We’ll be back!!

AMAZING!!!

I can’t start to tell you how AWESOME this place is!! We stayed for 3 nights and loved EVERY minute of being there.! We loved that we could walk down to the dock with our SUP’s and Kayaks from our cabin:) We brought our 2 beagles who loved it too!! We had a small issue when we arrived, but Gwen and the manager were SUPER accommodating and definitely made our stay perfect! The dogs were able to eat with us at the outside seating in the restaurant for dinner both nights:) The waitress/bartender was sooo sweet and kept our drinks full and the food was great!! We will be back! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us:)

Second visit, just as great

The lake is perfect for swimming, my 2 kids spent hours each day on the dock and swimming. The restaurant has great food and friendly staff. The cabin is perfect, clean and well stocked. Thank you!

Amazing escape!

We love to fish, kayak and eat! This place offered an incredible experience for each thing we live and love to do! As a small business owner getting away with the family is so important. Thank you for assisting in our intimate trip away. We will be back!

Father's day getaway

I took my 94 year old father for a short getaway. From the pictures I couldn't see that it was a steep incline down to the lake so my dad was only able to make it to the dock once to fish. The cabin was great, nicely furnished. The Cafe next door had great food. Overall we had a wonderful stay.
