Lakeside Adirondack Getaway - minimum 7 nat, ingen delvise uger i sæsonen.

Hvis du er på udkig efter en afsondret rolig bjerg tilbagetog dette er din stedet. Hjemmet ved Eagle Lake ligger på 11 hektar land og har været i familien siden slutningen af 1800-tallet. Det originale hjem bygget i 1891 blev erstattet med en moderne lejr / hytte i 1960'erne og er for nylig blevet opdateret

Udsigten og solnedgange er betagende! Tilbring en dag på det historiske Fort Ticonderoga og lær om den vigtige rolle, det spillede i kolonitiden.

Hvis du elsker at kajak, vandre, svømme eller sejle, er Eagle Lake stedet at være. Hurtig adgang til søen er ved trin eller en sti. (begge lidt stejle)

En dagstur til Burlington Vermont for at besøge Shelburne Museum eller frokost og shopping i Lake Placid er altid en godbid. Montreal er 2-4 timer i bil eller tog - Amtrak har et stop i Ticonderoga. Adirondack-museet i Blue Mountain Lake er også et must at se.

Et opdateret køkken, et stort soveværelse og et stort dæk er blot et par højdepunkter. Nedenunder har også 2 komfortable dronningefotoner, som er perfekte til uventede gæster. Sommeren er dejlig ved søen, men gå ikke glip af efterårets løv --- se de smukke efterårsfarver, mens du krydderer Champlain-søen på Carillon, en 60 fods søbåd, der afgår fra Fort Ticonderoga.


Mens vi er kæledyrsvenlige (fortrinsvis et kæledyr), skal du ikke lade dit kæledyr være alene, hvis du er væk for dagen. Hold kæledyr væk fra møbler eller sengetøj og afhent haveaffald .. Rengøringsmiddel kontrollerer for ridser og andre skader ved afgang

MINIMUM ophold er en uge. 15. juni - kun 20. september.
Delvise uger (eller lange weekender) er undertiden tilgængelige fra 20. september til 20. oktober; dog et ekstra rengøringsgebyr på $ 200. opkræves også.

Private and Homey

Terrific private location at the top of the lake. Nice breeze the whole week. New stairs down to the waterfront are well built. Very nice to be a part of the historic property. Feels like a home, not just a rental property.

Great place beautiful location!

Relaxing family vacation

This is a beautiful Adirondack property. The home has everything you need to be comfortable. Especially enjoyed the old books including the ones about the history of the property. Kayaks and canoe were great for enjoying the lake and fishing. We heard the loons calling in the evenings—something calming and magical about hearing them out on the lake.

Beautiful Fall foliage vacation.

The house on Eagle lake is fantastic. The view looks down the lake and we enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the lake. We visited Fort Ticonderoga (15 min away) So interesting with so much history and beautiful views. We also visited Putnam ponds for a hike to hidden little lakes. (10 min away) We drove an hour and 10 min to hike Mt Jo near lake placid. Next time we will visit Lake George or Burlington also close by. This house is in a great location. The house itself is charming with comfortable beds, a kitchen with everything you need to cook and a great deck looking over the lake. This one is special, you won't be disappointed.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY

Hubby and I really enjoyed this property. The views of the lake are gorgeous! The canoe and kayaks are fun to use. Hubby was out fishing twice a day. The sound of the loons was perfect. This place is like "Golden Pond". The house is equipped with everything we needed. The only reason I did not give this property 5 stars is because I thought the exterior of the house could use a good cleaning. The views are so beautiful but I could not help notice the dirty windows.

Most relaxing vacation ever!

We just finished our second stay in this house and love everything about it. I wish I was back there right now! It's private, has a great view, and is located on a crystal clear lake. No cell service or wifi but plenty of books, games, and nature. The kitchen is well supplied and had everything we needed. It's very close to the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness Area with lots of good hiking. On good weather days we took our beach chairs down to the rocky ledge on the point and swam, paddled kayaks, or just floated around looking at the osprey and bald eagles overhead. Although the house feels remote, it is only about 15 minutes to the Walmart Supercenter in Ticonderoga in case you forget anything.

The stay was good. We were surprised that there were no towels and sheets. That would be ok if we were taking a road trip, but my husband and I traveled from Utah. We did find a few sheets and towels. We also bought a few things from Walmart. We left the towels there. I'm glad we figured out how to reach the owners, someone we could talk to. Our friend saw some mold in the bathroom downstairs, but I did not use the bathroom downstairs. It was a house in the woods, and some of that stuff is to be expected along with a few spiders. I just killed a couple. All in all, it was a good stay. Thanks so much.

Nice stay on the lake

Stayed for a week and had a good time. We only slept at the house, we had another rental up the road on lake George. This does have lake access and the water is low so it would be a great spot for small kids to be able to play in the shallow water. The walk down to the water has steep stairs. You’ll 1000% not want to take a car to this home. It is a camp road so you really do need an suv or truck to get through. Main floor has a master and then downstairs in the basement is 2 bedrooms. There is zero internet or cell service at this property. It was about 3miles down the road heading into town that we were able to get it. There is a house landline available while at the house along with cable.

I don't want to tell you how amazing this place is...

because it might book up even faster, and we NEED to come back! This house is incredible and honestly, a bit magical. With Eagle Lake being right outside your window, and visible from almost every window, there are guaranteed views of beauty everywhere you look. It's also exceptionally comfortable inside. The bed is luxurious, the kitchen is comfortable to cook in, and the absence of cell service and WIFI is an absolute relief. It's quiet, and this is what we needed when we arrived. Communication with Susan was easy and prompt, and the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed frequent hikes and took the kayaks out, and also made time to explore the area along with taking big chunks of time to do absolutely nothing. We enjoyed a fantastic stay and really do hope to return very soon. Thank you for having us!

Enjoyed our stay on Eagle Lake. Swimming and canoeing and kayaking and cliff jumping were fun. Nice house with a big lawn for lawn games.

Beautiful property with spectacular views of Eagle Lake! Loved our stay!

Very laid back and relaxing vacation! Very comfy and cozy and loved watching the sunsets sitting in the Adirondack chairs. The lake was gorgeous and crystal clear! Enjoyed every minute with my husband, two grown kids and dog..

Just what we were looking for!

House just as described, water crystal clear, dogs loved the water, lawn perfect for family croquet, canoes, lots to do in the area - Fort Ticonderoga, a ride on the Essex Ferry, Paradox Brewery - WOW has it grown! The lilies on arrival were just lovely.

Great short vacation

Loved the house and the beautiful lake view!!! Enjoyed relaxing on the patio, canoeing on the lake, and playing board games and cards at night. No internet or cell phone service, and Harris Point Road to the house is scary in spots! Wished we had brought our 4-Wheel drive instead of the minivan, but we did manage to get in and out every time:). Local attractions such as the Star Trek Experience and Fort Ticonderoga are listed as 0.1 miles and 1.8 miles away, but are actually closer to 10 miles away. We loved the house, and would like to return someday!! Very relaxing!

Long weekend

Terrific property and location! We used the kayaks, canoe, and grill all weekend. Had a great time and on the first night were already making plans for a return trip in the future!

Fall getaway

Great fall getaway. Leaf peeping, historical sites, and just relaxing by the fire. Must visit Wind Chill Factory. Best ice cream ever! Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!!

Wonderful and remote!

A terrific get away for my husband and me. Very close to many trailheads and Lake Placid. It was a bonus that there were kayaks included with the rental. Plenty of space for a larger family and a fully stocked kitchen with any pot, pan or utensil you could ever desire! No internet or cell service so we really could “check-out” from our day to day stress! Thank you!

Great vacay

We had a great time in Ticonderoga. The house was rustic but very cozy with beautiful lake views from every room. Enjoyed morning yoga on the deck, kayaking in the afternoon, wine by the lake and sitting around the fire at night. Enjoyed the provided board games and puzzles. Enjoyed nights in cooking with the family. The surrounding area of Ti was great, lots of hiking and history and of course the Star Trek Museum!

Wonderful, peaceful lake house getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful week at the lake, with lots of family fun like games and puzzles, good food fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and other activities close at hand. It was a perfect place for a family get-together. The house and property were well-appointed and we especially enjoyed learning about the history of the location. Susan, the owner, was extremely helpful in answering questions before we went, and we were grateful to her for her prompt replies. All in all, an outstanding experience for everyone during a difficult time!

family get together

Lovely lodge on quiet lake. Secluded and private. Ideal for canoeing and kayaking. Gorgeous views! Made baskets, swam and canoed-also went to Fort Ticonderoga and Star Trek Museum. Great Time..
