Lanikai Hale - 2 cottages to rent together or separately - sleeps up to 12

Welcome to Lanikai Hale ~ Two Hawaiian style cottages (which can be rented together or separately) on a large fenced-in property in the heart of Lanikai, with a pool and pool house, just 2 miles from Kailua Town on the Windward side of Oahu.
There is plenty of parking and sleeping space for a group of 10 to 12 people.
A total of five bedrooms and three bathrooms between these two units, as well as a queen pull-out sofa bed in the large cottage, sleeps guests comfortably. Fully air conditioned, with a bird's eye view of the famous Pill Box Hike, these cottages are just five houses from the beach access. IF YOU DON'T SEE YOUR DATES, PLEASE INQUIRE.
Walking and bike paths allow guests to enjoy the Lanikai neighborhood. This home provides dining outdoors or indoors. Each cottage has a full-sized washer and dryer and outdoor shower. Boogie boards and beach chairs are also provided.
Most guests gather by the pool and enjoy the pool house with a full kitchen and barbecue, while playing games, eating and staying cool.
Beautifully furnished and fully supplied with everything you need to have a memorable stay in Hawaii. You will love this darling property!
Our rate reflects a 30 day rental in accordance with City and County of Honolulu Land Use Ordinance section 21-10.1, this property is provided to you, exclusively, for a period of 30 days or greater. By law, the property cannot be rented to or occupied by other tenants during any portion of the 30-day term. Property has been registered as a Transient Accommodation with the State of Hawaii.

Lovely vacation home!

Karen’s cottages were very pleasant and a great fit for our family of 10! There was plenty of room, they were clean, and had everything we needed (beach accessories were great!)! Would stay here again and recommend it to others!

Wonderful, Special Place!

Fabulous spot

This has been a fabulous vacation. Easy to book and communicate with resident manager. Kitchen was very well stocked, lots of beach articles and a beautiful welcome basket. Would definitely book here again!

Home away from home

I am so pleased with Karen, property manager, and our beautiful Hawaiian home this last week. I will definitely be back as it is extremely beautiful, clean, and spacious. Just a three minute walk to the most peaceful beach. Loved our stay!!! Will gladly recommend this home to anyone.

Perfect house and beach

This house was amazing from beginning to end. The views of pillbox and short walk to beach was the best !! The house had everything needed from beach chairs, toys, coolers, inside house with all kitchen gadgets and supplies, even to the refreshing waters after traveling. Amazing beach , house and town !!!

Perfect for a large group

This property is in a lovely part of Oahu, a short walk to the beautiful Lanikai beach. There are two units which was perfect for our large family. Everything was clean, updated, nicely decorated, good internet and Karen was an amazing host! I wish we could have stayed longer!!

Amazing!!

Oahu Christmas

We brought our whole family from New Hampshire, Boston, and Seoul to Oahu to celebrate an early Christmas. My wife and I have stayed in many VRBO homes over the years and this was by far the nicest and most well equipped. Karen is a fantastic communicator and responded promptly and completely to every question. We had a fantastic time!

Best Vacation Ever

This home was a great place for our family vacation. We had 10 adults and a toddler. It was nice to have the toddler in a different location for naps and early bed times The property was beautiful and perfectly maintained could not ask for a better quiet location. Short walk to the beach and water toys were available. I can’t say enough about this property. We felt at home and safe in the quiet neighborhood. Thank you Karen for all your help.

Wonderful!

This was even better than we had anticipated. Perfect amount of room for our family! Close to the most amazing beach! Room both inside and outside to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather! There is so much to say about this immaculate property and everything that it has to offer! Aside from being just steps from the beach in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods on Oahu, the rental comes complete with every amenity you can imagine. From laundry facilities, to a completely stocked kitchen, high-speed Internet, a beautifully landscaped property, beach gear and everything we needed for the absolute perfect experience! The property managers were so kind and so helpful! Our stay was flawless!

Very clean,everything you need,very close to beach within walking distance.Pictures of place is what you get.Karen the host was easy to communicate with.Would definitely stay again.We had a party of 10 and rented the main house and cottage and had plenty of room.Places to eat in Kailua.Ate at Buzz’s Steakhouse.Very pricey and not that good.Traffic can be pretty heavy and takes awhile to get anywhere so plan acccordingly.

The 2 homes on this property were perfect for our family trip. There were 11 of us and one toddler and we never felt crowded. The location was amazing. The beach is a one block walk. Kailua town is only a short drive away. The yard and lanai were perfect for our gathering. Our toddler was thrilled with running around on the beautifully manicured lawn. The homes were clean, and beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds, air conditioning in all rooms, kitchen stocked with all the necessites, washer/dryer, lots of beach chairs, toys, and floaties all contributed to making it an ideal vacation home for us. Would love to come back again!

I cannot say enough about the beauty of this neighborhood and convenience of this property in Lanikai. Check-in was a breeze and communication with the property mgrs was speedy. The beach access was a short, flat walk, the town of Kailua has a ton of shops and restaurants which is 5-10 min drive, trailhead to Lanikai Pillbox hike was a short walk (must do), and the house provided our whole family with more than we have ever had at any other vacation rental. Included 8 beach chairs, beach umbrella, toys, wagon, boogie boards, and the kitchen, linens were very well stocked. Great backyard and patio areas for the evenings as well. Our whole family would absolutely stay here again and again. We found our perfect spot on Oahu for future visits! Much Aloha to Lanikai Hale, Karen and Dianne!

Beautiful Vacation Home

We had the pleasure to rent both cottages on the property. It was the perfect size for 11 guests. The property is beautifully landscaped and the home had a beautiful decor. The home was as advertised in the photos. Karen, the property manager had constant communication. Check in was smooth and easy. Karen gave us a walk thru when we arrived. The home was stocked with everything you could possibly need, from beach towels to kitchen gadgets. I can’t say enough about how well thought out this home is. The best part is it is very close to the most beautiful beach in Oahu. Also very close to hiking Pillbox. My family does not want to stay anywhere else when we come back to Hawaii next year. Thank you Karen for your hospitality!!

Brand new cottage very close to the water

We stayed in the larger of the 2 cottages which had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The entire place is practically new and super clean, very tastefully decorated with nice materials throughout. It had the best equipped kitchen of any place we have ever stayed and the unit also came with a complete set of beach items (chairs, umbrella, great towels, body boards). The outdoor space was a great plus, covered patio plus additional chairs on the large front lawn and a brand new gas grill. Minimal distance to an amazingly nice beach and almost no traffic on the side street. All in all, you really could not ask for a better place on every level conceivable. Karen as the host was a great and responsive communicator and very flexible when our arrival time got delayed a bit. This was our third stay on the Kailua/Lanikai side and by far the best property and best value of any of the trips. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place to stay

Both cottages were great, very comfortable, attractive, very short walk to a lovely beach, and the best stocked rental I have ever stayed in. The kitchen, in particular, had all the equipment you need to prepare and serve meals. Plus a lot of indoor and outdoor recreational items were supplied. The air conditioning worked well so we were comfortable no matter what the temperature was outside. A big plus were the washing machines and dryers onsite, with kids and going to the beach everyday, we had a lot of laundry. The yard is very large which the kids enjoyed, and we also enjoyed the bbq and outdoor dining area. There is an ample amount of parking area on the property so that there is no hassle to find parking which is difficult to find being so close to the beach. The rental agent, Karen, was very kind, accommodating, and made the whole process so easy. Thank you very much! We look forward to staying here again.

Perfect First Time in Oahu

The property is amazing. Super clean, well stocked, comfortable and a short stroll to a beautiful beach. We would return in a heartbeat if we have the chance to go again. Karen was very helpful and responsive. We got in after dark and we had no idea of the beauty around us until the next morning. All we could ask was “Is this real life?” The snacks, drinks and goodies Karen left for us was great for a weary group of travellers and much appreciated. Mahalo Karen!

Beautiful Lanikai

It was the perfect place for our family to celebrate my husbands retirement and reunite with my Hawaiian cousins. The houses were freshly painted and kitchens well equipped. The huge lawn was a surprise bonus, having a Toddler free to run around, space for a luau. We would go back in a heart beat. Don’t tell anyone, but Lanikai Beach is magical!
