Just back from our stay in this absolutely stunning house in Sète. It's been beautifully furnished with love and care - it feels like you're in a Paris apartment - then you walk outside to Mediterranean gardens and a gorgeous pool. It was very hot when we were there but the flat is fully air conditioned and stays relatively cool even without this on - it was also a pleasant place to spend time when it was too hot to eat outside. This has not always been the case with other rentals, where being inside feels a bit depressing! The beds were comfy and the showers brilliant, and the big fridge that produced cold water and ice was a real plus. Sylvie and Benoit were lovely, welcoming hosts and very responsive. The town is glorious - only 5 minutes walk into the centre, which made visiting the market and bakery each morning easy, and there are plenty of great restaurants and cafés too. We didn't want to come home! A couple of things to note (though they didn't worry us): the house is up several flights of steep steps from the car parking, which might be an issue for those with reduced mobility, and the hosts live above the house so walk through the gardens several times a day and were often on the balcony just above us. They were always discreet, but if you're looking for total privacy, it's possibly not for you. TLDR: Fabulous. If we return to Sète (which I hope we will), we'd love to come back!
