This property delivered on absolutely everything they promised. The house is incredible and plenty of space for multiple families to enjoy. Plenty of space outside as well and incredible access to the beach.

Wedding at the beach

Loved the use of the yard and how close we were to the beach. The house and yard were beautiful for the wedding.

The property was lovely though a little worn. It needs to be spruced up a bit. The pool needs work and worn out furniture needs to be cleaned or replaced. Broken stair railing needs to be repaired. Broken furniture in storage area should just be thrown out. The dishwashers do not clean well. The space was great for our multigenerational family of 10 adults and 8 children. We enjoyed the beach and left boogie boards and a skim board for others to enjoy.

Great host! Great communication! Aging and weathered property. Location was fantastic and the room setup fit our group well. Property was very clean and ready for our arrival. However, The property overall needs a makeover. Appliances work well but rickety. Kitchen Sink drain needing replaced and faucet had issues with turning off. Furniture very worn and stained. Had a couple of bathroom sink clogs. Beach chairs provided were rusty and had some mold. Bathroom shower door in one room missing and a curtain was rigged in its place. Pool bending resurfaced. You get the picture. I would stay again if the property were updated. But for the price I expected more. Could be a five star property given the layout and location.

Perfect!

Loved the house, loved the view and the beach access. We were attending a wedding at the OIB club next door; and I think we were closer to the event venue than the guests that stayed on property. This is a great house and I highly recommend it.

Our stay at Carolina Memories - OIB could not have been any nicer! It was a dream come true vacation for our blended family of 16! From the initial booking to check out, Scott was so easy to communicate with and extremely responsive! He was very accommodating for some of our needs and went above and beyond to help when asked. The location is excellent although right near OIB Club which could be a bit noisy at times. The house itself and the views were spectacular! There are two levels of balconies and the water views are unbelievable! We got some great photos! There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Linens and towels were provided and beds were made up when we arrived which helped us get settled quickly. The house was immaculate and we would like to commend the cleaning staff to keep such a large house so clean! The pool was nice to have after a long day of sun and sand. You can imagine how this house is favored as a wedding venue - my husband and i joked about renewing our vows, it was so nice! For new comers to OIB, Scott left a list of recommendations and helpful hints. We cannot say enough about the house, our stay and Scott as a host. We have been traveling to OIB for over 30 years and I promise you - you will not be disappointed. We would not hesitate to book again!

This house was absolutely beautiful and made the perfect setting for my wedding. The host was incredibly quick to respond and very helpful with any little issue that came up during my stay, which made the whole experience stress-free.The only minor drawback was that the outside of the house could have used a bit of extra lawn care—some bushes were overgrown, the patio needed a sweep, and the outdoor tables could have been wiped down. I only say this for anyone hosting a wedding or event, I’d recommend planning to give the outside a little extra attention beforehand. There was also an abundance of cleaning supplies and tools supplied to help solve the problem quickly. That said, if this had been just a family vacation, it honestly wouldn’t have mattered at all.Overall, this place was absolutely perfect for both staying and celebrating a wedding or event. I truly appreciate how attentive and responsive the host was—I can’t recommend this home enough!

Fabulous stay !!

We were there for a pre thanksgiving holiday and had a great time. The home was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. The owner was very helpful and responsive with questions about the house. Located close to an ice cream creamery, mini golf and couple food spots. There’s a deck from the backyard of the house that leads directly to the beach. Sunrise and sunset were both breathtaking and views are unobstructed. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at both, the house as well as the beach. We will definitely be back !!

Wedding destination dream

We were here for three days before the wedding and it was the perfect area for family and friends to connect before our big day. We had less than 50 people and it was intimate enough for us. The space was very accommodating for the size. The pool is a nice addition to the beach because there is public access to that beach. If I could do it all over again I would choose this house over and over
