Beautiful, custom-built home, surrounded by beautiful mature trees and landscape, this home offers a unique floor plan taking advantage of its gorgeous setting.

We have many spaces that you can relax, spend time alone, enjoy the beauty of the surrounding. The house is very peaceful with lots of trees and nature, it's architect designed with a ton of amenities:

A cozy reading corner next to the fireplace;
Outdoor seating area surrounded by trees;
High-speed fiberoptic Internet, 600 Mbps;
10 minute drive to Magnuson Park:

Less than a mile from shops and restaurants and only 10 minutes to Northgate Mall and University Village. Getting downtown is around 20 minutes;
House is protected by Xfinity Home Security, outdoor surveillance recording cameras only for safety purpose. NO camera inside the house.

Perfect cabin in the woods

Our family enjoyed a fabulous weekend here. The house was lovely, well stocked with everything we could have needed. With 10 people it still felt roomy. The manager was super: flexible and responsive. I’m sure we’ll come again.

Close enough but still private

Nice place to stay while visiting people in Seattle. It was easy to drive to Northgate park and ride and take light rail downtown (and avoid traffic and parking). Good restaurants close by. Beach is a bit underwhelming, but house is great.

Wonderful time

My family had a wonderful time here: a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood with quick access to shops, a spacious and well organised house and finally, pleasant host that was always ready to clear up any clarifications.

Beautiful and quiet

This was a group traveling to see the college football game. Travel time to the campus was good and the home had everything needed. Enjoyed the space and hot tub. Would definitely recommend!

Lakeside Hideaway

This house seems more like a mountainside cabin with the surrounding trees, yet it is so close to downtown Seattle. The walking trails by the lake are the best. Having a jucuzzi is a bonus. Overall, a very scenic and tranquil spot.

Great property and owner

The property was beautiful and the owner was likely the most accommodating I’ve come across. We loved the proximity of the Burke-Gilman trail for walking. Restaurants and convenience stores are close by. My grandchildren, son and I had a great time.

Amazing forest hideaway so close to everything

beautiful home with a view of the lake through the trees. Close to town and Kraken Comm plex. Perfect location for our 3 families during our sons' hockey tournament. So enjoyed walking to the lake. The house had room very everyone and was set up nicely.

Beautiful home and great location

What an incredible place to stay. It had plenty of room for a small gathering of friends or family. The kitchen had everything you needed. The living room was cozy and had enough space to gather around to watch some TV and hang out. The hot tub was picture perfect with a feel you are in the mountains. The dry sauna was amazing. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again in a heart beat. This place is where memories are made. The host was great and we had all the information we needed for a flawless entry and check out.

Great house, good location

The location of this house was perfect for my team who were coming to Seattle for a work retreat. I live nearby but couldn't host them all. The house was clean and has a ton of space. It would be great for a big family.

Nice relaxing short stay near Seattle

We were looking for a quiet spot outside of the city to enjoy prior to crossing the border. Ken was a great host … was very responsive and answered any questions we had. House was clean, beds were comfortable, snacks and games provided, and hot tub relaxing once we got it warmed up. We were two families staying and it worked well having one family upstairs and another downstairs (and only improvement I might recommend is to replace the futon downstairs with a queen bed … but this really impacts larger groups and honestly the futon was comfortable).

Home was perfect for our family. We arrived after midnight and had no issues accessing the home. Ken’s instructions were spot on. Home was clean and ready for our stay. We were excited to find coffee available in the morning. Sometimes it’s the little things that make us happy. Ken was the perfect host. His assistance and speed of communication was amazing. I recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet family retreat.

Secluded Forest Retreat

Ken's beautiful timber house nestled in the forest by the lake was a wonderful place to reconnect with friends after the long separation due to COVID. While close to shops and neighborhoods of north Seattle, it felt like it was deep in a mountain forest far from the city. The house itself provided more than enough entertainment and relaxation with its hot tub, sauna, multiple decks, and multiple living rooms. I would highly suggest Ken's house for a family, a group of friends or anyone that wants to feel far from the city while only be a short drive away.

Train Travelers

The property was beautiful. Very spacious, open comfortable environment. Quiet neighnorhood with multiple levels. Easy access with keyless entry which made it accessible to all parties. Very appreciative of having a washer and dryer available. Well stocked with cooking utensils towels and bedding. Only drawback would be the multiple levels and stairs for anyone with assistance issues. Would recommend this property for anyone who wants a quiet spacious home with lots of room to spread out.

Just book it

I am a full-time working mother with 6 kids. This place was hands down worth every penny. I went with my family for a Spring Break getaway, and we had so much fun, and all of us absolutely loved this home. The home is indeed spacious as described, and has warmth to it, which made us feel right at home while away. It is gorgeous inside and out, and near the lake which only adds to its appeal. Everything in the home was easy to find like towels, dishes, coffee (coffee provided with usual fixings), etc. The host was available, and kind, and made the process easy from start to finish. If you are wondering if it is worth it, it totally is and it is located in a spot near places to eat, things to do, and a small drive to downtown Seattle-maybe 20 mins depending on where you want to go.

Outstanding wooded retreat close to downtown Seattle

We loved how secluded and forested this property was- it really felt like we were in a small lodge out in the wilderness. The view from the master bedroom was only trees and just a small peek of water, and it made waking up every morning peaceful and pleasant. With that said, it was also extremely easy to pop into the city, so it could not have been easier to visit the sights and bustle of downtown Seattle at a moment's notice. There were only four of us and there was more than enough space. I'm sure the property could easily accommodate far more comfortably. The property manager, Ken, was very communicative and helpful, and everything was spotlessly clean and in working order. We'd highly recommend this property to family and friends.
