Great location. Cute studio in a safe neighborhood. Tons of street parking. Kind of a hidden gem of a neighborhood. Helpful to have onsite laundry. Will book again!

This cute place was perfect for my solo getaway to San Diego! It was clean, efficient, and in a location that was convenient to Mission Bay Park, the beaches, Old Town and pretty much anywhere else you might want to go in the area. Once the Murphy bed was folded up into the wall, the space was plenty large enough for me to put down a mat and stream yoga classes. A great value!

Good location, lovely neighborhood up the hill, feels safe, easy enough street parking, the two beers and water filter in the fridge are a nice touch and handy, and generally a nicely updated apartment with a little outdoor seating. Know before you go:After a full day of activities when you return to the unit The Murphy bed down makes it tight for 2 people to move about. A beautiful flower beetle greeted us in the sheet folds. The pillows are very bad, while the bed is decent. The walls are thin and we could hear every piece of lint dropped above us, the dog barking and conversations through the walls. The shower held the last renter’s hair, and the floors need a good scrub (we moved the Swiffer Heavy Duty Wet Cloths, provided, with our feet to clean the floor so we didn’t have black feet headed into bed), and the place just generally needs a good spring detailing; dust, refresh caulk in shower. A good space above Murphy bed would be great to just store the terrible pillows, or empty luggage, etc but it’s too dusty. BUT MOSTLY: The WiFi will not support the streaming of your favorite wind-down movie on the tv. We asked for a remedy, via requested text, with no solution and ended up turning off the tv out of frustration - each night - from the buffering interruptions. This was NOT fixed by owner or host or “the team” per the text exchanges.

San Diego

Great centralized location of San Diego! Near I-5 and I-8 to get anywhere you need and beautiful views surrounding the property. Everything we needed for two people was on site and made our stay enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone!

It met our short stay needs.

The property was perfect for our short three day stay. Weather when we arrived was fairly hot and it was great to have air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. It had all the appliances one would need for cooking and a fridge and a coffee maker. We used non of the appliances.

Exactly as it appeared online

Stayed a week at Charming Mission Bay Studio 2 and it met all my expectations. Very clean, neat, everything I needed and convenient location to downtown, the Bay, and the highway. Aaron was very responsive and communicated proactively so it was a good experience.

The unit is on the small side. But it has all the necessities for a short term trip. The bed was comfortable. The location was was great for Fiesta Island, Crown Point Park, San Diego Zoo. Several local restaurants nearby. Prompt communication.

Perfect for a quick San Diego trip

This studio was exactly as pictured in the listing. It has the amenities you need for your stay and is very clean. The property manager communicated very clearly and was very accommodating. We planned this trip for a quick getaway from the AZ heat with our dog and it did not disappoint. Although the room itself is fairly small, it had everything we needed to cook breakfast each morning to hit the beaches for the remainder of the day. Although there is currently construction nearby, we were able to get the same street parking spot right outside the location. Would definitely stay again!

Short visit

The place was OK for me. There is construction going on with the place next door. You get woken up by that or the dog. Bed is comfortable, the chairs need new cushions. But hey, I’m in San Diego why would I hang out at the room? Overall I was happy and not a lot to complain about.
