Oceanfront, One bedroom, newly renovated cottage conveniently located ~
Our newly renovated, one bedroom cottage is situated on private shoreline. Come enjoy the ocean air, peace, and relaxation this cozy cottage has to offer ! Listen to the soothing sounds of the ocean, while watching the eagles, osprey, geese, and even an occasional deer ! This special spot has so much to offer, it’s truly a gem ! A perfect getaway for couples.

Relax on the deck at the ocean’s edge while taking in the sounds of the waves, and watch the wildlife. Enjoying nature at its’ best ! Nesting eagles in a nearby tree on the property are a delightful sight to see ~ Each changing of the ocean’s tides will offer new sights to see! Savor the picturesque views of the morning sunrises from the deck, or inside the cottage looking out the large windows. Whether you are relaxing with a good book in the sun on the deck, or sitting on the rocks at the shore, you will leave you feeling rejuvenated and inspired ! The perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or your evening cocktail!

The Driftwood Cottage offers cable television, internet, and also a heat pump for efficient heating and cooling. New kitchen appliances, fully stocked kitchen, and new cabinetry will add to your pleasant stay. There is no washer and dryer in the cottage at this time.

This cottage is conveniently located just 5 minutes from Cook’s Corner, (shopping and restaurants in Brunswick), movie theater, laundry mat, grocery stores etc. A great central location for many beautiful sights, and activities. Very close to Harpswell, Orr’s and Bailey Island, Freeport, Bath, Boothbay. Many choices for a day or afternoon trip!
Cancellations will receive refund as stated in the policy, less any processing fees. This property can be viewed and booked on Vrbo, AirBnb, and Maine Coastal Connections, Harpswell, Maine

We had a wonderful weekend at Driftwood cottage! We loved having coffee on the deck watching the birds and boats and sunrise. The kitchen was well appointed. Bed was comfy. A perfect place to enjoy Maine in the fall.

Amazing location

We had an amazing time celebrating our 25th anniversary! We arrived after dark because of another event that ran late. Locating the cabin was a bit difficult in the dark, but once we figured out to go on down the hill, we found it on. We were welcomed with flowers and a bottle of wine for our anniversary! The cabin is only steps f on the water and I spent my mornings on the back deck or on the lake shore rocks enjoying the peace and quiet! We used the cabin as our home base for visiting many locations along the Maine coast. I would definitely come back and stay here again. Take warning that the "Main Birds" aka mosquitos are incredibly annoying. Whether outside or elsewhere in Maine, we got eaten alive, even with bug spray.

Peaceful Getaway

Stayed at "Driftwood Dreams" over June 19-22 and had a wonderful time. For being so close to Brunswick (about 10 minutes) the cottage is amazingly peaceful. Right on the water, a few other cottages/houses around, but not much noise from them (the adjoining cottage was empty for most of our stay, that may change things). Able to launch kayaks into the sound/inlet directly from the property. Lovely deck for coffee in the morning/cocktails in the evening/bird watching. Well appointed for a couple, well decorated, very comfortable and thoughtful. I highly recommend. At all breakfasts at the cottage, and 1 dinner. Supermarket close by, as well as downtown Brunswick. Sunrises are BRIGHT, and it's buggy at night. Water pressure is DEFINITELY low, and showers are quick. Photos of the property are accurate and well represent what you'll find. Definitely a special place, and great for a getaway weekend.

Great getaway!

This was the perfect little Maine cabin getaway! Wonderful location right on the water that offered endless wildlife and beautiful views. Great location close to town if you needed anything but perfectly quiet and peaceful at the cabin.

Quite location with a water view.

Wanted a couple nights in Brunswick area to experience the area on the water. Loved eating at Red’s Eat’s. Bathroom could use a little updating in the shower/tub, but functioned well.

Combined work with pleasure

Following meetings in Portland a long weekend on the coast was very enjoyable. The house and property was just as advertised!

Location, location, location!

Cottage was as advertised. Right on the water with 3 options for enjoying the view- the deck, the lawn or the rocks. It really doesn’t get any better than that. In addition, very convenient to the downtown Brunswick and easy access to the highways that take you up and down the coast. Very well equipped, very clean, very quiet. The only thing I would suggest is that the bed be upgraded. Squeaky, and uncomfortable. But overall, I would highly recommend this gem

This is truly an authentic costal Maine experience. I hesitate to say how much we enjoyed this cottage, because I don't want to share it. So book if you must.

Location, location, location

Perfect place for watching eagles and ospreys and terns--with the peaceful lapping of waves. The kitchen is very well equipped; bed and seating are comfortable. The water pressure is iffy but mostly OK. I did buy bottled water for drinking. These are minor problems more than made up for by the location.

Mixed Review

On the positive side the view from the deck of the bay, birds, and wildlife was fabulous. The location is also excellent. On the negative side the water is undrinkable and water pressure varies from too low for a shower to none at all. The bedroom is too small; no place for suitcases. The floors are slanted and uneven. I have stayed in maybe twelve VRBO's and have never had issues like this.

Beautiful location, central location

This rental was very quaint and in a beautiful location. The pictures in the listing are very accurate. We spent our time hanging out on the rocks reading and enjoying the view. The location was 5-10 minutes from stores and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this spot.

Eagles and osprey daily

This home was very charming, clean, comfortable. Homeowners even had a welcoming message and bottle of wine for us upon arrival. the addition of kayaks on the property and the ever present osprey and eagles, and occasional seals, made our stay even more enjoyable.

Couples Getaway

We loved this cottege which provides the perfect Couples Getaway. We went to Maine for a series of events and found this cottage was the perfect escape to relax between events. The views are to die for, the cottage is well equipped, and was immaculate. We would definitely stay here again.

Mini Vacation at Driftwood Cottage

We stayed at this cute cabin for a short weekend trip to the coast of Maine for a family memorial. We were pleased to find provisions already in the cabin - coffee, all the things you need to get started, even a bottle of wine. Super cute, cozy & quiet. Close to all the things we wanted to explore. Only regret - we did not have MORE TIME to stay! We WILL BE BACK!
