This was our 3rd time staying here for a late summer 3 generation family gathering. This is a well equipped, fun, nicely sized home in a perfect location on Long Lake. We enjoyed many things here at the house and on the lake as well as going to the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in Hayward nearby. Our 3 year old grandson caught his first fish from the dock and took his first ride behind the boat on a tube. BJ, the host, was very helpful getting us on the lake in his really nice pontoon, when our own boat broke down. We all enjoyed our peaceful and fun time on Long Lake.

Peaceful and Perfect Lake House

This place was perfect for our three generation family trip to Long Lake. The location is ideal for fishing, swimming, boating to restaurants, skiing, touring the entire lake, or just enjoying the beautiful view from the deck. Beautiful and Peaceful Stay on Long Lake

The hosts had everything needed for a fun and comfortable lake stay! We enjoyed our family gathering on Long Lake to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The cabin was the perfect size for 6 adults and our grand-baby. The location provided beautiful views on this quiet and pristine lake. We were able to enjoy boating, paddle-boarding, fishing, boating to lunch, sitting around the campfire, cooking, and relaxing on the deck. Long Lake is one of our favorite lakes and this home was perfect in many ways, so we hope to stay at this excellent location again.

Lovely winter stay

We had a super relaxing time here. We enjoyed the place, the views, and snowshoeing over to a nearby bar for an old-fashioned. Our only problem was that when we arrived the driveway and walk were a sheet of ice and not shoveled, which would’ve been a problem if any of us had trouble walking or shoveling. The ice turned out to be an issue in the whole neighborhood, but the owner and the snow plow company helped us out and we were able to drive over to watch the Berkie the next day. Thanks for a lovely time!

Wonderful Accommodations!

We loved this cabin - the view is gorgeous!! We stared at the lake for hours and never grew tired of it. Located on a part of the Lake where it is nice and wide. The weather had turned cold, so we did not go boating, but from what we observed the property setup for summer boating (easy access to dock and patio campfire) is one of the best we have seen. The host was fantastic, and very accommodating. The instructions were easy to follow and the place was very clean. Our friends from this area visited and were very impressed how well maintained the cabin and property were. Never lacked for anything during our stay. Grocery stores and a Walmart are just 20 minutes away (Rice City). We look forward to coming back to this Lake and hopefully staying in this Cabin again. Thank you LeRoy family :)

The Perfect Rental

We just finished up our stay yesterday, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Right from booking the communication was great and they also provided information documents so you knew what to do at the cabin, and places to go around the cabin. We actually had never done a rental previously so this was a new experience for us. The cabin, the yard, and garage were pristine. They did a great job of getting it ready for us and we felt right at home. The views are amazing and have to be one of the best on the lake. We live close to and boat on one of Minnesota's most popular lakes, but Long Lake was a totally different feel (in a good way). It is clean, beautiful, quiet, and a very good size to cruise on. It also has restaurants and an ice cream shop within a couple minute boat ride. We opted to rent the pontoon which is older, but was reliable and suited the lake nicely. We have already told many friends and family our experience and they have been requesting the listing to check it out for themselves. I have a feeling this place will have a ton of repeat bookings. I know we will be back. Don't hesitate to book this one, it is A+. Thank you to the owners for sharing their spot!

We loved our stay here, the listing was spot on! The location was perfect, beautiful sunrises in the morning with a fantastic view of the lake! The cabin was well appointed and had everything you could need. Communication with BJ was great and the pontoon boat is a must, not only for fishing but also for exploring this big, beautiful lake with easy access to bar/restaurants. The fish cleaning station was set up really well and made cleaning the huge bluegills that we caught a breeze. Highly recommended!!

Fishing trip

We came to the property for fishing. We were able to rent the pontoon and it worked great for fishing. There was a station in the basement for cleaning the fish. The beds and and the living area were comfortable. The house felt like home. It is a beautiful area.
