L'écho des vagues: A large stone house between the land and the sea.

Located in a hamlet 200m from the cliffs of Longues-sur-mer overlooking the English Channel, the Echo of the Waves cottage is ideally located to benefit from the calm of the countryside, while keeping an eye on the sea stretching on the horizon.
A family project initiated in 2023, the renovation of this old farmhouse has been the subject of an intense year of work to allow its transformation guided by the desire to make it a place of rest, reunion and sharing.
The Gîte can now comfortably accommodate 14 people thanks to its 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It has also been designed to allow you to get together with family or friends by offering generous living rooms. The 55m² living room, as well as the kitchen, both give access to a south-facing terrace in the heart of a gravelled inner courtyard preserving the tranquility of the occupants.
Ideally located on the route of the cycle path along the coast, the Echo of the waves also provides access to several footpaths, including the one joining the site of the Batteries of Longues-sur-mer (about 5 minutes from the airport).
Halfway between the charm of the fishing port of Port-en-Bessin and the remains of the artificial port of Arromanches, the Gîte de l'Écho des vagues is also less than 20 minutes by car from the beach of Omaha beach to the west and Ouistreham to the east.
The two sheep, the only non-seasonal inhabitants of the cottage, are committed to maintaining part of the 3000 m² of meadow on the property.
