Perfect Family Gathering Place

This property was the perfect fit for my family to get together. My son and his wife live in a small apartment in Redondo Beach. The house was a great accommodation for my wife and I and our three adult children to do a family dinner together, relax and watch a ball game. Just like being home.

Great location

Check in process was super easy. Very close to stores and a short drive to the beach. Kitchen stocked with dishes/cookware. Beautiful back yard that is very nice to relax in. Stayed with my mom, husband, 11 month old son, and a few friends. We had plenty of room :)

Great cozy house

Property was exactly as described, there were some spots missed by the cleaners but was otherwise perfect. Some neighbors were quick to complain to the host despite us going out of our way to be quiet, respectful, and follow all rules, so one can only assume they don't like a short term rental being in their neighborhood.

Thank you for your stay and your review. Thank you for letting me know about the missed spots in cleanliness, that is something that I am a stickler about so I will definitely have a word with housekeeping. Neighbors might’ve been hyper vigilant as it was New Year’s Eve but I appreciate your respectfulness and hope to host you again in the future. All the best to you and yours!

Beach house

We had a great weekend at this house in a quiet comfortable neighborhood with a wonderful 30 minute walk to the beach! Natasha was more than accommodating and very responsive to questions that came up during our stay. We celebrated one of our daughters turning 30 and the outdoor space and layout of the house was so conducive to good family time. They have lots of games and also provided toys and boogie board for the beach. All around just what we needed to be together and celebrate.

Weekend with Friends

Natasha was a gracious host. I was a little skeptical at first when the listing said no A/C. House was very comfortable with just opening the windows and having the fans going. This house is close to everything. We walked to the beach which took us about 20 minutes. I would recommend if you are looking for a house with easy access to the beach

Family Wedding

We attended a Grandson's wedding at the Malaga Cove Library which was conveniently located to the Hollywood Riviera house. The house was just right for our family. The back yard was especially enjoyed. The host was nice. All closets are full and there is clutter, not leaving must room to store your items. Other than that, it was great.

New Year 24 Stay

The property was as described. In a neighborhood and not really walking distance to anything but that was not an issue for our visit. The home has tons of nicknacks and is tired. There was no place to hang clothes in any of the bedrooms.Natasha was very helpful when needed.

Thank you Lynn for your review. Every bedroom has clothes hooks and hangers in the back of the doors to hang your clothes. Ralph’s supermarket shopping center is 5 minute walkable, so is the Riviera Village, Christmas lights Candy Cane Lane and the beach is a 25-20 minute walk away. Other renters have found the children’s books, games , toys writing implements and other items useful.

Absolutely amazing!

We rented this home to come into town for my mom’s funeral. We have a large family and needed the space for everyone to gather and sleep comfortably, and this was perfect! The master bedroom, kitchen and living room are larger than what I thought from looking at the photos. Every bed was made comfortably, the bathrooms were stocked with essentials, there were toys for our 3 year old, the internet was 1k download and 1k upload, so the teens were able to game with high speed, the yard was beautiful and well maintained. The house is well loved and such a treasure for our family to find peace in during this difficult time. The best part is how kind the owner, Natasha, is. She has a big heart and aimed to ensure that we had a great stay! Thank you!! We will be back!

Charged for $52 towel???

Our stay was ok. No issues. We truly spent most our time away from the home. It was however truly unexpected and disappointing to discover the insurance we were required to get when we made the reservation was charged for a $52 towel. We absolutely didn’t take a towel, nor were the towels in the home $52 towels. Make sure you get the insurance so you’re not stuck covering charges.

Thank you for your review. I’m response to your comments about the insurance and tower replacement, the towel was part of a set so it cannot be replaced as it was ripped without purchasing an entire set. The reason you get insurance is so you don’t have to worry about things like that, as it is between the owner and the insurance company what the insurance is willing to pay for and if the claim is allowable, they will cover it. Thank you for booking at Hollywood Riviera, Casa Pacifica .

Torrance house

The property was very cluttered with personal items and did not appear to be very clean. The owner left her groceries in the fridge and a case of beer on the counter. The furnishings were old and the place was dingy. Check in was difficult because owner did not provide the code and we had to wait for her to respond to emails. It was evident that they were living there and we never felt that we had privacy. Other than location and a nice back yard I would not recommend this property. The owner constantly contradicted herself and seemed to have trouble getting her stories straight.

Great beach house for the whole family

We had a wonderful trip visiting family & the beach at this beautiful home! The 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms made it big enough for all of us (we had 2 littles & our nanny) and it had a gorgeous modern kitchen & backyard. We wish we had had more down time to just relax in the hammocks out back, but the yard was so great for the kids, The location was quiet and peaceful at night, but close to everything during the day. We especially appreciated all the beach accessories like chairs, towels boogie board & sand toys. The beds & pillows were comfy, bathrooms clean & whole home spacious. It’s a quick uber ride to anything or a great half hour walk to the beach, and also close to parks & grocery stores. Parking was good, and the host was so kind & easy to communicate with,. Only things to consider for a family is they don’t have a crib / highchair so you need to bring or rent your own; the master suite has a skylight so it’s very bright when the sun comes up; there is no AC (warm for baby’s daytime naps); & we didn’t have access to a washer / dryer (that I know of / forgot to ask). Overall a great place that we would stay at again.

Thank you for your stay Christina and for your review! No homes in our area have air-conditioning , the high temperatures during your stay were 76, 76 and 79°. We will get blackout shades for the bedroom to make it darker for sleeping during the day. I made sure the listing details show that there is no access to garage or washer and dryer but there is a laundromat close by. We appreciate your feedback, thank you and all the best!

This property was the perfect place for my family to stay for a wedding. There was plenty of space for everyone while still being able to gather and enjoy the fresh air and each other's company. Cabinets, etc. were labeled so finding what we needed was easy. The host was very easy to contact when I had questions and responded immediately. I was concerned about no ac however, the breeze was enough to keep everyone cool and comfy. The location was ideal for site seeing as well. We were able to visit LA, beaches and piers. The beach is an easy 1 mile walk and so pretty. If we visit the area again we will definently stay here again!
