Hello David, I'm very sorry that you had two things to complain about. Can you please let me know what exactly you missed or didn't like about the barbecue equipment. Then we can add to it or improve it. Unfortunately, we have no influence on the guests in the neighbouring houses. However, we have not had any complaints about this in the last 10 years that we have been renting out our house. Did you call the police if the neighbours were too loud? Best regards Martin

Hello Maggie, thank you very much for taking time and sending me such a detailed email with helpful information. I would like to give some answers to the mentioned issues: - light bulbs should be changed from our caretaker if necessary - normally there should be a substitute gas bottle in the house. I will talk to Mojácar Estates to provide such next season - we will repair and clean the four air condition units - coverlets and blankets are provided in the upper cupboards in one or two bedrooms. I think the charlady only has provided the empty duvet cases because the temperature in summer, what is normal in spain. - we will also clean the vacuum cleaner - of course we will check the parasols Just let me explain one thing: Casa Elena is used the whole year from my mother, who lives in it. We only do holiday renting from the middle of june until the end of september. In these 3 1/2 months my mother is on holiday with us here in germany. When my mother leaves Casa Elena in the mid of june, the house is in the best condition. Everthing is clean and everthing works. Unfortunately i more and more have to come to the conclusion, that during the renting season it is not possible for the charlady and Mojácar Estates to keep the condition of Casa Elena as it is in the middle of june. My mother came back to Casa Elena on sunday, 30.09., so one day after you have left it. She also told me about the issues you mentioned and is already busy to solve the mentioned problems. So, i think it is also a little bit bad luck, that you rent Casa Elena at the end of the season. I will be in Mojácar in winter and will talk to Mojácar Estates to find a solution how we can improve the mentioned issues. My mother also recognized that a lot of the plants in the pool area are dead or dying. We have installed a watering system in spring 2018 because we have realized last year that guest are not able to water the plants. Unfortunately my mother had to find out that someone stole the two timer clocks in front of the house. Thats why the plants didn't get water for a cupple of weeks. We are trying to improve casa Elena every year and we are hoping we will succeed. Thanks again for your email and hoping to see you again in Casa Elena the next years. Best regards Martin
