Settle in and relax at Lucy Creek Lodge in beautiful in historic Beaufort, SC. Incredible year round views from this spacious 3 bed, 2 and half bath home with a cabin feel.
Located on Little Lucy Creek you can enjoy your morning hot drink on the covered porch while listening to birds and crabs and watching for the deer, turtles, otters and the occasional dolphin. Surrounded by two 8 acre properties it is very private and totally relaxing. You can fish, shrimp or crab off the dock while watching the sun rise over the water or catch sunset over the marsh. Located on a tidal creek you can even bring your boat depending on it's size but if you have plans to do so, please contact us before booking for details.
Located on Lady's Island if you're looking for adventure you don't need to look far. Downtown Beaufort and Bay St with shops and restaurants and the City Marina and Park is just 6 miles away. Head to Port Royal just 8 miles away and check out the Maritime Center, more shops and restaurants and the beach and boardwalk at The Sands. For more beaches check out Hunting Island State Park just 20 miles away and Fripp Island. There is tons of history in the area along with plenty of events. Check out the Water Festival and Shrimp Festival in the summer.
As you walk inside you'll find a huge vaulted ceiling family room open to the sunroom. Plenty of seating on the leather couches and chairs to enjoy the natural light and views. There's a large dining table in the sun room to enjoy your meals and a desk with it's own view to accomplish any needed work. There's even a 2nd smaller porch as well. In the winter the fireplace will make things even more cozy. There's an accessible half bath off the family room.
The master bedroom is downstairs with a King size bed and memory foam mattress, side tables, dresser, closets and a Smart TV. It's got a spacious bath with double vanity, separate water closet and walk in shower. Laundry washer and dryer are also located off the master bath.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. One with queen memory foam mattress, dresser, closet and Roku TV. The other has two twin beds that could be pushed together to make another queen/king. It has a small dresser and closet as well. The upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with a tub shower combo.
The couches do not pull out but there are two foldaway memory foam twin mattresses and extra bedding for them in the master closet. These are easily moved to wherever they may be needed. Note no more than 6 adults are allowed.
The Lodge has Xfinity high speed Wifi internet with a Smart TV in the family room along with master bedroom and 2nd bedroom TVs.
Plenty of parking and a yard to play or relax in. Just arrive with your personal items as we’ve provided all the comforts of home that you should need to get your vacation started.
No smoking. No pets. No parties. Thanks.

Incredible location - especially for boaters and fishermen wanting to explore the salt marshes and estuaries of the Lowcountry. 10-15 minutes to several great restaurants and groceries stores. Our favorite of the trip was Locals Raw Bar - amazing fresh, season, “chef-ey” food! Eric was quick and thorough answering my questions about bringing a boat and even offered time navigation tips and cool locations to check. We’ll be back for sure! One of our favorite rentals ever.

The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Check in was easy and the host answered all questions including information about bringing our boat. An added plus for us is that we caught some crab off the dock! We would definitely recommend and would want to rent again.

The property is 10 minutes or so from the historic downtown, right on the creek & marsh so you feel a world apart. Peaceful & well appointed for small to larger gatherings. Your host Eric, is readily available & accommodating. We had a lovely time & highly recommend this "retreat" within the town!

We loved this place, it’s very quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. We loved that you can view the marsh from inside, as well as being able to fish without having to leave. Not far from stores and restaurants. I would highly recommend.

Incredibly beautiful view. It was so peaceful, especially in the morning with the beautiful sounds of birds. Everything was tidy and organized. Great shower. Comfortable bed. Really enjoyed our stay

Nice , quiet place. Not a lot of water in the creek at low tide. Need to be careful if going in at low. Overall it is a great place.

Great Stay
We enjoyed our stay the week of Christmas. Peaceful location and comfortable home. Had everything we needed and also enjoyed the fireplace. Recommend for a relaxing stay and would certainly stay again when we are back in town.

Great wkd trip- boat friendly at low tide.
Wonderful time! Breathtaking views. Great dock and was able to maneuver low tide out to the sandbar. Cast net and crab trap were succcessful.

Amazing views!
We enjoyed the marsh views, fishing and crabbing off the dock and enjoying long days spent with family and friends. Communication with host was great and he accommodated our request for additional overnight stay. Love, loved this location!

Perfect Secluded Hideaway
This place is a gem, off the beaten path, incredibly clean, comfortable beds. So happy we stayed here. Waking up to the sounds of birds was a highlight to this trip. Thanks for the Southern Hospitality!

Serenity at It's Best
A perfect week of peacefulness and relaxation before heading to the hustle and bustle of Charleston. The views are spectacular and provided our outdoor dinners and morning sunrise coffee with the perfect setting! We hope to return!

The view was worth it!!!!
This location was really beautiful. The dock and the view was awesome to wake up to. The house was clean and well maintained. It’s hidden away from the street so feels secluded. It was a really nice stay!

We have called Charleston, SC home for about 15 years now and love it. Originally from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, my wife Stacy is a Yoga teacher working with diverse groups including children in low income schools, physically challenged individuals, public classes and private lessons to name a few. I was born and bred in Canada 30 miles west of Toronto. After finishing university I did my Masters in Australia before travelling and working abroad and in North America. I settled in Charleston where I work as a Realtor, investor, renovator, and manage my long term and vacation rentals. We're a family of 4 with our young daughter Satya and pup George. We love to come visit the Lodge ourselves whenever we can along. We've also got two mountain properties near Asheville that we get to as often as possible. The Lodge is a beautiful, calming spot and we're happy to share it with you.

My dad owned and lived in this property for 22 years. I've been visiting it and Beaufort for over 30 years when my dad first moved there and owned the Bay Street Inn downtown. In all those visits to Beaufort I found Charleston where I ended up settling down for the last 15 years or so. This spot my dad found all those years ago is simply amazing. When he decided to downsize and move into town I had to figure out a way to buy it. I love to sit on the porch any time of day listening to the various critters, watching sunrises and sunsets and just enjoying the calm.
