The Tucked Away Cabin is nestled in the forest on 2 acres while still remaining close to nearby restaurants, shops, and local attractions. The cabin boasts 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living space, and a spacious kitchen. Traveling is a breeze when you stay with us as the lodge is fully equipped with great amenities. Property offers an outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and great quality time. State Parks, lakes, canoe & kayaking, ziplining and so much more all located within a short distance from the property.
10 minutes down the road, guests will find Lake Logan which offers an abundance of relaxation by the water. Take a 15-20 minute drive from your cabin to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!
Relax, stargaze, or spend some quality time out by the campfire with family and friends. The Tucked Away is located 5 miles from Logan and 12 miles to Nelsonville, Ohio. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Logan’s downtown, Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. Lake Logan is only a short drive from the cabin and Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friend

Everything was clean, and welcoming. We felt so comfortable, and had plenty of space for our (6 adult) family members to enjoy our time together! We loved all of the outdoor space as well! A couple of us spent time in the hot tub, we ate at the picnic table together, and we all spent an evening around a campfire, telling funny stories, laughing together, and looking at the stars. It was absolutely wonderful!!! We had the most wonderful, relaxing weekend thanks to our Tucked Away home away from home!

We had a great time at the cabin with a family of four! It's in a nice secluded location so you really feel like you are by yourself out in the woods. The hot tub was perfect on the colder days!

We had a great time at the cabin! It was all 1 floor, big hot tub and private. It was close to restaurants, shops and the hiking trails were only about 20 minutes away.

The house was great! There was more added than current pictures, and suprised us in a good way! The hot water doesnt last very long while taking showers, but it gets the job done. Hot tub was amazing.

Overall we had a great stay. The hot tub was wonderful and so relaxing after a day of hiking. There is a new covering over the patio area, which is a great addition, especially if it rains so there is still an outside space that is still usable. The fire pit was a nice place to gather around in the evening. There was a lot of debris in the bottom of the oven that could use a good cleaning as that did smoke a bit when we were cooking. The water out of the tap had a strong sulfur smell so I would recommend bringing some drinking and cooking water with you. There is no dishwasher, so if you don't want to be doing dishes I would recommend bringing paper plates.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to point out a few areas for improvement. We’ll make sure to address the oven cleaning right away so future guests don’t experience that issue. We understand your concerns about the water, but that sulfur smell can occasionally occur in well water and we’ll look into options to improve that experience.

It was exactly like pictured in the description and the pictures. Went there for a few days over Thanksgiving to get away and do some shopping. Cabin had plenty of space, bedrooms quite roomy. Everything was perfect.
