Acadia Cabin

Great place to stay. Clean, well equipped, and a great location near Acadia and the lively town of Bar Harbor. Easy to access, the owner Jason was prompt and responsive to a couple of questions and it was quite an enjoyable stay. Five stars.

Family Trip

1st vacation together since our son-in-law joined our family and it was a great house for us! Very well equipped, wonderful location, and loved having morning coffee on the deck. Our daughter loved the office for watercolor painting :)

Best vacation ever!!!

Our vacation was everything that we hoped for, and more! The house was beautiful and clean, and the owner of the property went above and beyond making sure the house was filled with everything we could possibly need. The binder he provided gave tons of suggestions on hikes, scenic walking paths, restaurants, etc. We fell in love with Maine and will definitely be coming back again, for sure!!!-The Florida Family

Nice Place to Stay Near Arcadia

This is a nice 3 bedroom cabin. Large dining table and nice kitchen. The down stairs in finished (with the only TV), but we didn't really use it. Jason provided excellent communication and advice on where to go, what to see and do. Overall a nice place to stay near Bar Harbor and Arcadia.

Incredible 1 week stay at Jason's Log Cabin House! Perfect for 3 couples (if you are willing to manage sharing 2 bathrms, 1 upstairs, 1 down). Only 10 min (5 miles) to Bar Harbor & half that to Acadia NP's Hull Cove Vistor Center. We used Hull Cove VC multiple times for free parking when using the Parks' free shuttles into the park and to Bar Harbor itself.The house was exactly as pictured! The main floor has a lot of space to spead out, The Notebook that Jason has created was so useful and refered to often, esp for planning activities, excursions & dining. I highly recommend reading it BEFORE arriving to make Cadillac Mtn (as far ahead as possible) & dining reservations. We booked eBikes 1 day ahead (mid-Sept), but didn't for our 2nd carriage road ride & had to go to 3 bike shops to get eBikes!Jason has great restaurant recommendations. Our favs were: Bar Harbor Lobster Pound (near Cabin), Chart Room (5 min from Cabin), Havana (booked a few months ahead), McKay's, Peekytoe Provisions & Bar Harbor Lobster Company (all 4 in BH). Bear Creek Tavern (near Cabin) opened the week before we were there, Unfortunately, it was a big miss for us d/t zero ambiance and disappointing food (burgers ok, the rest, not so much).Lulu Loster cruise was fun & educational for us West Coasters.Bass Harbor Lighthouse was not interesting or impressive having visited many lighthouses on the West Coast & HI.Our group was so happy we had this lovely Cabin to enjoy & share! Conference Visit

Everything was as advertised. It was my first VRBO rental and it went smoothly. The log cabin was convenient to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. I had a conference at the Bluenose Inn which was only 4 miles away.

Wonderful Getaway

This home was exactly as it was listed. The home was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. The owner provided a looseleaf filled with numerous details of the home, things to do, where to hike and restaurants suggested. My family loved the home and had a fabulous vacation. I highly recommend staying at this property. Thank you Jason!!

Quiet, Great Location, Extremely Clean

Three couples stayed at this property for 5 days at the end of September, 2023. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything you could want, as well as many other amenities. The layout was spread out, so everyone could enjoy their own space. The deck was wonderful to hang out. The beds were very comfortable. Didn't enjoy the downstairs shower, as it fluctuated too much, I'm assuming because of the pump. The location was close to Bar Harbor and all it has to offer. It is also very close to Acadia National Park, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Jason's communication is extremely efficient and he gives you amazing recommendations for the area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Nice clean place close to Bar Harbor, restaurants and the Park

Two retired couples had a very enjoyable stay. Property manager was responsive when we had an issue with the keypad lock.

Fall Getaway

Loved this property! Owner communications were great. We arrived at night in the rain but everything was just perfect. Exterior lights were on and other lights were motion activated to make it easier for us to access. Everything was very clean and very organized. The book the owner has put together to assist in all needs was the best I’ve seen. We will be back!

Perfect location for exploring Acadia!

Beautiful property with all the amenities you could want. Fantastic binder with all the amenities listed alongside the locations in house, etc. Linens/towels were like new. Kitchen had a few staples stocked (coffee/tea bags!/a few condiments); excellent assortment of utensils- could use some sharper knives (or a knife sharpener). Close to Acadia’s Hull Cove visitor center/entrance, Bar Harbor, miniature golf, and restaurants. Would definitely choose this property again!

Absolutely Wonderful

Everything about the log cabin was a great experience for us. The location is tucked away so as to provide a refuge from the bustle of downtown Bar Harbor. The house itself is a really well done mix of rustic feel with loads of modern technological amenities. The check-in/checkout processes was mooth and easy. The manager was very responsive. The handbook is filled with great recommendations for hikes and eats. We really didn't want to leave.

House in Bar Harbor

This place was great! Location coyldnt be better and the house itself was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Our host had great recommendations for fun and food. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Great stay

The log cabin is perfect for those who prefer to be close enough to the hustle and bustle but also want their peace and quiet. Just a few minutes to Acadia and downtown Bar Harbor. The house was gorgeous. The owners did a beautiful job upgrading the cabin and their binder was so helpful and full of suggestions on activities and places to eat. It was also convenient to have a washer and dryer after hiking so we didn’t have to go home with dirty laundry. After a day of exploring, it’s nice to come home to the cabin. My friends and I had a great time! This is my 3rd time visiting Maine and I already can’t wait to come back next year!
