**HOUSE IS A DUPLEX: Each floor is rented separately.
UPPER UNIT: This gorgeous waterfront duplex is located on a quiet, serene inlet, adjacent to the Barge Canal with access to Oneida Lake. Perfect for boating, kayaking, and fishing. Floating EZ dock system. Both units available to rent together upon request and availability.

Each unit has large eat-in kitchen, equipped with large/small appliances, Keurig, washer/dryer, grill, large deck, floating dock, and kayaks/life jackets for all. Included in rental are linens, towels, free Wifi, 3 large screen Samsung tv's and lounge chairs.

Sleeping arrangements: 2 Bedrooms each with a queen bed, 1 folding cot

Streaming Services: Spectrum Cable, Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, Prime Video

Walking distance to restaurants and nightlife. 18 minute drive to Turning Stone Casino.

Great Property

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway. Property was clean and fixtures/furniture were modern and comfortable. Location was great as restaurants were all within walking distance. Owner was very responsive to all inquiries. Would definitely stay there again!

GREAT PLACE TO STAY 10 STARS!!

Thank you so much we had a great time, and the places was great! We made lots a great memories and can't wait to rebook with you guys! We would be interested in possibly renting out the whole house next time and bring up the whole family!!

Perfect location!

We had an amazing stay! Great communication with host, and the listing was exactly as pictured/described. Many amenities were provided throughout the house that were convenient. I can not express how perfect of a location this was. Easy quick walk to the beach, restaurants/bars, but far enough from the main road that it was quiet. We loved the amazing deck that overlooks the canal. We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend getaway

We and some friends booked the entire house for a long weekend with our boats. Everything went well and the property was fantastic for us.

Perfect place to stay

Within walking distance of everything. Beautiful sunrises. Love the ducks. I love kayaking. Quiet. Soft sheets. Fluffy towels. Good air conditioning.

This property was perfect for my little family. It would be nice if there were a few more outdoor chairs on the second floor but we made it work. The property was clean and comfortable.

Enjoyable and Covenient

Location was clean and quiet with bocks in the back for your own water craft. 2 block walk to ice cream, breakfast, lunch, dinner and beach. Only complaint is bedrooms are not air conditioned and a little tight. The single wall unit in living room must be set to max cool to get any relief in bedroom on a hot day. Separate units should have been installed. Especially for a top floor unit

Enjoyable Getaway

The host, Stephanie, was very responsive and hospitable. The rental was very nice and extremely clean. Fantastic getaway rental to enjoy the nostalgia of where my husband grew up. It was a great way to experience his summer vacations as a child. The location has onsite parking and is in walking distance to everything at Sylvan Beach. This rental overlooks the canal with access to dock, kayaks, patio, and grill. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay here again.

unique boat house with very good view

The location of the property is very good. We were enjoying sit at deck and see gooses playing in water with their babies. sometimes, we could catch a big fish jumped out of water. it is a nice small town.

Sylvan Beach Nugget

This was our first VRBO experience and couldn’t be more pleased! Everything we needed was within a sort walking distance and the dock style and location was perfect for our 21’ boat. Plenty of room to park the truck and trailer on our side of the driveway

Location was good would do earlier date as most places in Sylvan Beach close in middle of September.

Property was nice great view at canal, had everything that anyone should need overall it was very nice.

RECONSIDER CLEANING FEE NECESSARY

Units and location were absolutely beautiful. However, my family rented both the upper and lower apartments and each were required to pay a cleaning fee.. However, upon checking in, the “House Rules,” required us to strip the beds and put all linens into washer (totally acceptable), but also to RUN DISHWASHER and PUT ALL DISHES AWAY afterward, WIPE OUT THE REFRIGERATOR, and not only EMPTY THE GARBAGE but TAKE IT OUTSIDE, as well. Upon checkin’, the trash pails had clean bags in each, but when removing them, the pails themselves were absolutely disgustingly DIRTY, the fridge obviously had been “wiped down” by previous guests, as requested, but the fridge was not clean, by any means. Additionally, there were several spills that occurred in the freezer section, that were now frozen and had not been cleaned up - which, I’m thinking should have been cleaned by your staff after they prior renters checked out and before we checked in. Under each couch, both up and down, there was a large amount of accumulated DIRT that revealed your staff had not done its cleaning job thoroughly.. Both up and down apartments had all the same previously mentioned issues. Our question to you is exactly what did we each pay a cleaning fee for, if in fact, the place was not really clean to begin with? Yes, it was superficially cleaned, IF you didn’t remove the trash bags in the pails, you didn’t look under the couch, which, by the way, we did not set out to do, but the dirt was discovered by someone sitting in the chair across from the couch with a clear view of the filth underneath and the obvious frozen spills in the freezer. I would even dare say that those stains had probably been there for who knows how long, because it’s obvious your staff isn’t doing the job that I’m pretty sure you’re paying them for. And to have to take out our own garbage. Again, what is the cleaning fee per unit used for. Obviously, to us, it was not to ensure the rentals are beautiful (which they certainly were), and CLEANED - which they certainly were NOT.

Sylvan Seekers

Excellent location! Enjoyed the serenity of the marina and kicking back on the deck watching the boats and kayaks. We stayed in the top floor and keyless entry was super easy. House was very clean, bright and well furnished. We did not use the kitchen (reservations locally lol) but if we had there was plenty of space and great appliances. AC worked well. Location was close to everything yet private and quiet at night. It was my husband and I with another adult couple and we all relaxed and had a great time. Would definitely stay here again!

Great spot

We had to change our vacation plans last minute and this house made the change bearable! Perfect amount of space for the four of us every to inch was fresh new and clean feeling. We only did some minor cooking and found everything we need aside from large knives. The deck had a fantastic view. The kayaks were so convenient. We’ve rented enough for our family before, and it’s usually $200+ so this was a value add for us definitely. We were hoping to swim off the docks but it didn’t seem like a swimmable area. The beach is a close walk and we loved that too. Only a few restaurants in town but we enjoyed the small town feel. If we come back to the area we’d absolutely get the same house.

A great family spot

We really enjoyed our stay! With two kids under 4, travel isn’t always easy but this rental was the perfect size for us and it had everything we needed. The location on the canal was nice and quiet and we had a great time exploring on the kayaks and sitting on the deck at night. It is a very short walk to the beach and all the other Sylvan spots. We hope to come back again soon.

Beautiful property

Wonderful cozy 2 bedroom, very clean, great views. Use of the of site kayaks made the stay very enjoyable. TIP: Many local businesses have odd hours, so call ahead to confirm. *4 stars due to construction going on next door.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and comfortable apartment! Our family loved the use of the kayaks which was one of the reasons we chose this rental. The owner was very responsive and quick to meet any needs. Highly recommend staying here!
