Visit this stylish, comfortable, family friendly ranch home located in an amenity filled lake community. The spacious living room has an 82" television and a double-sided fireplace shared with the dining room. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom offers a king sized bed with ensuite bathroom and walk in closet. The two additional bedrooms are separated from the master by the living room. One bedroom has a queen bed, desk area and large closet. The other bedroom has 2 twin beds, and a day bed with a trundle. It also has a walk in closet with games for children and adults.
The home has central air conditioning as well as fans in every room. The heating is hot water baseboard as well as a propane fireplace that creates ambience and warms the home by distributing the heat with a blower.
The backyard offers several seating options as well as a BBQ, games and a fire pit.
The community offers beaches, a heated pool, playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts.
All within driving distance to rafting, skirmish, hikes, fishing and several ski mountains.
This home is an ideal base to explore Jim Thorpe.

We have stayed at vacation rentals at least 3 time a year for 30 years and we have found our home away from home. Thie owner had everything that we could possibly imagine we would want or need. The home and property were beautiful! The owner put their heart and soul into this rental with nothing but their guest in mind. We will become frequent flyers to this amazing home. If you get a chance stay here, you will not regret it! Thank you for a wonderful stay and your kindness!

Great Trip to Winterfest!
We just spent 3 nights here and it was lovely. Very close to downtown Jim Thorpe and the Winterfest activities, which was part of why we came. Wendy offered a lot of suggestions that helped with our trip. The neighborhood is wooded, quiet and right by the lake. The house is very clean, with a ton of amenities and really thoughtful small touches that make it extra fun. The gameroom was a highlight - the kids had a blast with all the options! It was great this time of year, with the big fireplace inside and a nice firepit outside, but I think it would be a wonderful summertime destination as well!

From the start to the end of our stay, we were wow'ed by this property. Aside from packing your clothes and a toothbrush, this place is STACKED with everything else you'd need for a trip. There are snacks, spices, board games, stuff for smores, wood and starters for the fire., kayaks, outdoor games...shall I go on? I shall...the garage is a freaking ARCADE! My boys had a blast in their kid room with a playstation. The weather was cruddy while we were there and we were bummed we'd not have anything to do, but between the games, movies, garage amusement park, we had a BLAST! Thank you Wendy, you have a gem of a property here!

Perfect Getaway
A perfect setting in the woods of the beautiful Poconos. In the town of Jim Thorpe, where shopping quaint stores, or grabbing a bite at a restaurant are plentiful. During our visit we enjoyed the scenic train ride in a domed car, and attended a concert a Penns Peak. Loved the location and amenities this place has to offer. Saw deer in the morning and at night. The fireplace was wonderful to get cozy on a cold night. We also appreciated the unexpected treats! Wendy was a pleasure dealing with, very attentive.

The best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at
Wow, this VRBO is simply amazing!! We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. There was everything we needed plus more in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Lots of toys for our 2 year old to play with, lots of things for us to do and entertain ourselves. The decor was amazing, The host even decorated for my moms birthday and left a little birthday basket of goodies for her. Lastly, the host was very helpful with any and all questions I had. You will absolutely not regret this stay! 1,000% recommend! We will definitely be back!

MOUNTAIN GET AWAY!!!!
This mountain home has all your family would need for vacation.
Well maintained home with nice upgrades for children to adults.
3 kayaks for our use was awesome on a nice calm lake.
Back deck with a BBQ grill & fire pit was relaxing and enjoyable.
Safe community with town watch.
Most notable the HOSTS are such a pleasure to deal with!!
Our Family had a AWESOME mountain get away.

Will come again!
Staying at this property was fantastic. The place is decorated so beautifully, it was like going to a warm cozy friends house. Wendy was very comunicative with us about checking in and finding what we needed. And the fireplace is divine! It was perfect for our get away vacation in the mountains. Much closer to Blue mountain ski resort than our house.

Hallmark Experience
Our family wanted to recreate a Hallmark experience weekend and this home was exactly what we had in mind. It was beautifully decorated and Wendy the host was amazing. She was very welcoming and accommodating. It made our weekend. Looking forward to staying again.

Fall Fun in Jim Thorpe
This home was perfect for our little family:) It’s located super close to Jim Thorpe downtown in a quiet lake community. Wendy, the property owner was very accommodating and even connected us to a local photographer for a fall
Family photo shoot! The entire weekend was great fun, and this home was stocked-it had everything we needed. Our kids especially loved the Halloween sugar cookies there for the taking:)

Fireside Ranch at the Lake is a modern, bright oasis. The home provides everything you need for a relaxing enjoyable stay. The location is less than a 5 minute walk to the lake, pool and playgrounds. The community is extremely friendly.
When you stay here, you are a short drive to all that Jim Thorpe has to offer. Some opportunities are hiking, biking, rafting, skirmish, wineries, walking tours, ski slopes and excellent restaurants.
