Spring Break getaway

We had a lovely stay at this Mamora Bay Villa. The beachfront access was perfect for our children and the amenities such as the water sports were an added bonus! We opted out of the all inclusive package and explored the island most days with our rental car.

Love this Villa!

It’s nice to be able to spread out, especially having kids! Steps to the beach and access to the St. James resort is really a plus. Antigua itself is beautiful and we hope to visit again!

Awesome villa - well stocked and comfortable. Greatest deck with new outside furniture. There’s always minor issues here and there, but the manager is always quick to come over and fix anything. We ordered groceries to be delivered this time and that was something we will do every time from now on! Always hard to leave

Lovely villa in an amazing location

We loved being able to step onto the beach for a quick swim from the spacious terrace of Villa Coquille. We had a wonderful holiday relaxing at the villa and also using the waterspouts of St James's club and exploring around Antigua. The villa is beautiful, clean and well equipped and in a beautiful location right on a stunning calm bay.

Fantastic property

Beautiful villa in an amazing secluded spot. Beach is literally on your doorstep. The property is beautifully furnished and well maintained. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Relaxing stay

This is our 10th year visiting Antigua - we loved this villa as it was well stocked with everything we needed. We cooked in most meals. Great communication with the property manger on site when issues arose. It’s peaceful and quiet.

The home could not be more perfect, a beachfront house with lots of outdoor space, directly on a idyllic and quiet beach. We like to cook and the kitchen had everything you could ever need. The location was ideal, the St. James Club has everything you could ask for. We hope to return again some day!

Southeast Antigua

Great proximity to beach. Very safe. Lots of water activities. Perfect spot for relaxing overall, and quick trips from beach to house for drinks/snacks or a nap. Short drive to English Harbour area. Host/manager were responsive.

Great stay at Villa Coquille

Very enjoyable working vacation at Villa Coquille. Extremely relaxing especially during low season in Antigua. Villa amenities and St. James Club facilities all as advertised. Many thanks to Akeem, the property manager for his constant attention especially during the passage of Tropical Storm Fiona. Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Antigua.

Amazing Villa with Amazing views!

Received all the information needed prior to check in, host was very helpful. Check in was short and our villa was ready on time. Villa was clean and the kitchen had everything needed to cook, clean etc. Note that the bedrooms dont have tvs, only one tv in living area. Overall stay was 10/10.

Best of both worlds (private spacious villa within a resort)

Best location on the St James Club property - very private, quiet and relaxing, and just steps down from the patio to the beach. Great communication with owners. My daughter loved having her own bedroom and bathroom. We also loved the flexibility of purchasing the all inclusive meal plan for part of the trip (3 days) and leaving the property for an excursion and a special dinner at Pillars in Nelson's dockyard. Staff at St James was wonderful. Friendly, helpful staff at guest services, the restaurants, bars and water sports. If we come back, we would only want to stay at this villa again!

Great Time Had By ALL

The villa was perfect for us. The beds were comfy and the villa was very clean. Greg and Cynthia made were great! Always available if and when needed. The property manager Akeem was also very helpful. Quick to respond to our questions; making sure we had everything we needed. I recommend have groceries delivered prior to arrival.

Idyllic villa setting on the beach

Beautiful spacious villa with amazing patio and gorgeous furnishings offering unparalleled views across the bay. Main bedroom bed is huge and very comfortable, twin beds comfortable. The villa has use of the resort beach towels and watersports. Food in resort not worth money they charge so stock up fridge from local supermarket and enjoy the fabulous restaurants in English Harbour. Property owners quick to answer questions.

Beyond Expectations!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villla Coquille! Unlike many VRBO's we have stayed in the past, this felt more like a home than a rental. The owners have paid attention to all the details to ensure a very comfortable stay. The Villa is on a nice quiet stretch of beach, but not far from the other amenities of the resort. We rented a car (easy free parking) and checked out many of the local beaches and restaurants. The best part of this place is the patio... we had most of our breakfast and lunch meals here, and it is truly bliss. Communication with the owner was always prompt and helpful. Can't recommend enough. We hope to return in the near future and continue exploring the island!!

Ideal Rental

If you are looking for an on-the-beach location with access to all kinds of water sports, in a villa that is well equipped and maintained, with a helpful and responsive owner and property manager, this is it! Everything was as described and the views are even better than the photos. We had a fabulous visit! Cynthia and Greg were very responsive in the rental process and gave us great tips before our stay. Akeem, the local property manager, was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. He grocery shopped for us and arranged for a catered meal. Having the option to use the resort or our kitchen made it a very relaxing week. We hope to visit again soon.

On The Beach!

This was an absolutely wonderful villa - right on a fabulous beach with a great deck, well-furnished rooms, good AC, and access to all of the resort's water sports (sailing, SUPs, kayaks, and more) Mamora Bay was terrific - with none of the Sargasso that now plagues Antiguan beaches on the Atlantic side of the island. We loved the location near English Harbor, where there are many good local restaurants , very interesting historic sites, and one of the finest yachting centers in the Caribbean. We took good advantage of the well equipped kitchen in the villa after shopping at "Covent Garden" market a couple of kilometers away and enjoyed the beach bar just a few hundred feet from the villa's deck. The staff at the St James Club was especially friendly and helpful. We very much hope to return!

30th anniversary dream vacation

After having to postpone our trip for 2 years, it was finally a dream come true. The resort was beautiful, the villa was amazing, the location was perfect. When we travel, it’s all about the details. A cooler for the beach, an ice machine to fill the cooler, and fresh beach towels daily. All the necessities to make the villa our own, and the safety of a gated resort. We loved relaxing on the patio after a hard day at the beach, and steps away from the sand and water was fabulous. All questions and concerns were dealt with promptly before our arrival, and Akeem was there if we needed him.( The property manager.) it’s certainly a trip we will never forget, and we definitely recommend this property. Book It

My brother lives in Antigua so we've visited many times over the years. This is by far the best place we've stayed. The house is right on the beach and at the end of the beach, which is especially private and nice. The huge veranda has three really comfortable seating areas and that's where we spent our time. The beds/linens are super comfortable too. The beach is in a gorgeous little protected cove, ideal for swimming. We usually rent a house but this time we went with a resort. This resort has so much to offer! Tennis and pickle ball courts, little sailboats, kayaks, SUPs, optional restaurants, live music at night at just the right distance away, plus planned activities every day like Water Polo games, trivia games, kid movies and yoga. We won't stay anywhere else next time. The hosts are welcoming, the manager is excellent at his job. It's really a gem. Just book it.

Best Villa at the St. James Club

This is private paradise with access to resort amenities and activities at the St. James Club. The spacious terrace is spectacular. The villa sits at the quiet end of the beach with a great view down the beach and out to the bay. We loved taking out the hobie cats, kayaks and sups. My family enjoyed beach volleyball, tennis and pickle ball. I enjoyed just sitting on the terrace or lounging on a swim ring in the bay. There are some nice excursions offered through the resort. You can be as active or relaxed as you want. The villa has everything you need if you want to cook or you can dine at the resorts’ open-air restaurants. A great location to feel safe during these COVID times. Testing at the resort for the return trip was easy. Throughout our stay, the property manager was on hand for any needs and arranged a private chef for us for a spectacular dinner on the terrace. My family and I had a fabulous time. We will be back!
