Crazy spacious hillside ski chalet! WOW-views and expansive wraparound deck!
Just minutes from downtown Ellicottville and Holiday Valley, this contemporary three-level chalet has it all and room to roam. Located on a hillside with breathtaking views, the inspiring great room offers a high cathedral ceiling w/ a full wall of windows on either side of a stone surrounded gas fireplace. Doors on both sides of the great room lead outside to an enormous wrap around deck with solar lighting accents. The media room is adjacent to the great room -- perfect for a family movie night. The large custom kitchen is designed to accommodate 'many cooks in the kitchen' -- with a new stove and dishwasher, as well as a unique natural cut wood breakfast bar. The dining room is anchored by a long rustic farm table fit for entertaining all your friends or family. The spacious laundry room/mudroom has a new washer and dryer, as well as sink and storage.
Five spacious bedrooms (and 3 1/2 baths) offer private sleeping areas for everyone. An open staircase with rod iron rails takes you to the upper floor where three of the bedrooms are located. The lower ground level sports a recreation room w/ another stone surrounded gas fireplace, TV, bar, new pool table with a ping pong conversion top. Two additional bedrooms and a bathroom are on the lower level and all rooms there have direct access to a stamped concrete patio, perfect for entertaining.
Our chalet is fully equipped with linens, bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, fully stocked kitchen, Keurig, 12-cup coffee maker, electric kettle, ground coffee and Keurig cups. We have boards games, pool table, ping pong, a fire pit and a library-worth of books.
Self check-in and check-out. We're available by text and phone -- and, of course, on site if needed.

As a lifelong Western New Yorker, the thought of owning an EVL ski chalet had always been a dream. Now that our kids are grown and out of the house, we decided to make it a reality! (Empty nesting is not so bad.)
However, not being able to take advantage of it ALL of the time, we decided to rent it out some too. As such, we really care about our home and want you to be as comfortable there as we are. We'll do whatever needs to be done to make your stay AWESOME! We're just a phone call and an hour's drive away.

When we first saw the chalet, we were blown away with the view from the great room with its vaulted ceiling and wall of windows. Then, we went out on the expansive wrap around deck and, really, nothing else mattered after that.
Luckily, we weren't disappointed with the rest of the house. The kitchen has more storage and features than my primary home -- and the farm table in the dining room just screams 'family dinners'! I love that there's a separate (adjacent) media room so that the great room remains all about good conversation, games or cozy book reading.
The five, very large, bedrooms ensure that everyone has a place to escape, if needed. The rooms on the ground level all have direct access to the outside which is inspiring. Lastly, the recreation room was plenty big enough for us to situate a large pool table (with ping pong conversion top) in the middle. I'm soooo excited to have both AND still have room for TV watching or lounging.
Simply put, this home is a wonderful combination of spacious comfort and rustic coziness. We hope you'll love it as much as we do!
