Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you loved the building, the walkable location, the amazing lake views, the deck and outdoor furniture, and the courteous, professional front desk team. That said, we’re sorry this particular unit did not meet expectations. Your comments about the worn furnishings, older bedding and linens, broken appliances, limited kitchen setup, lack of freezer and oven, mismatched utensils, and overall need for renovation will be shared with our management team and the unit owner for review. We understand how disappointing it can be when a unit’s condition does not match the quality of its location. We appreciate your honesty and are glad the property itself made a strong enough impression that you plan to return, even if you choose a different unit next time. Thank you again for staying with us. We look forward to welcoming you back to the property in the future.

Aside from this hiccup, we are glad you found the stay enjoyable and relaxing. Along with the unbeatable location and views, Edgewater Inn offers amenities designed to enhance every stay, including an indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, and a sun terrace overlooking Round Lake. Many guests also love that the property’s downtown Charlevoix setting makes it possible to park the car and walk to boutique shopping, art galleries, coffee houses, and seasonal events like the Venetian Festival.
