This cottage is the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, cleanliness, and location. The host was very accessible and made our vacation wonderful and the whole booking and check-in processes easy and seamless! The cottage is so lovely and cozy. This was our 2nd year staying here, and we hope to stay again next year! We had a wonderful time!

We have stayed at the Cottage before and love it there. You feel at home from the moment you walk in. Ann is wonderful, so helpful with any questions you may have. Location is great and the cottage has everything you need.

Amazing stay on Kiawah Island thanks to the owner. She takes pride in her beach property and it shows. From the booking to check out the process was a dream. The proximity to the beach was a plus especially with the beautiful walking path. The bikes supplied were in great condition. We really enjoyed the back porch and spent many hours watching the birds and alligators. It was so private and quiet you never knew what would walk around the corner. The home is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. We spent most of time on the beach. It was so quiet and having daily set up of chairs and umbrellas by a company daily is a true pleasure. Kiawah Ocean Course has the best burgers in the world and their steak is better than the one offered at the Sanctuary. Overall you couldn’t do better.

We were returning to Kiawah Island after 14 years and were so looking forward to our stay. The cottage is in an ideal location, a block from easy access to a stunning beach. From the moment we entered the 428 Sea Lavender Court we felt right at home. The house did not disappoint. The house is extremely spacious for 8 people. The living room, kitchen, the den and all the bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and the beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed cooking, playing cards, watching movies and chatting. Bikes at the house were used daily and we had access to beach items like chairs and boogie boards left by previous guests. It was a pleasure communicating with Ann; she was extremely responsive throughout our stay. We hope to be able to return to this perfect beach vacation home in the future.

Perfect beach cottage

Our family of 5 loved staying in this cottage. It was such an easy walk to the beach and convenient to everything on Kiawah Island. The cottage had plenty of space for everyone and we left with plenty of wonderful memories!

Great Kiawah Location!!

My family has been traveling to Kiawah for over 30 years and this was one of the most convenient places we have ever stayed. Proximity to the beach is fantastic (less than 5 minute walk) and house had all the necessary amenities including well maintained bikes. Thank you for a great trip!

Great location and amenities

The cottage is very comfortable and clean. I enjoyed the back screen porch. The included beach gear and new bikes were great. I like that it’s an end unit. Very easy short walk to the beach.

Kiawah getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday at this lovely, very comfortable cottage. Ann was a gracious host. The cottage is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, a short walk to the beach. The area is beautiful, and Charleston was an easy drive. We hope to return. ~ The Levy Family

Perfect!

Ann’s cottage was lovely! Would stay here again. We enjoyed the quiet location and the roominess for 4 adults and a dog. It was a short walk to the beach. It was furnished and decorated tastefully, the kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, bathrooms nicely updated, laundry area was convenient. No complaints and I really wish I was still there : )

Wonderful Vacation

From the moment we walked in, we were so impressed with the home. It was so clean, decorated beautifully, equipped with everything you need. Ann was terrific to communicate with. The house is in perfect distance to beach, a very short walk, quiet neighborhood, and short bike ride to The Nest and Nature Center. We hope to return again. Thank you Ann for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Stay

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful home that we stayed at for our week's vacation! Tucked back at the end of the street, it always felt nice and private for our family. Enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch for drinks while looking for alligators in the pond! The house had anything and everything that you could possibly need -- wonderful linens, fully stocked kitchen, beautiful bathrooms, etc. There was also beach equipment that we could use and the 4 available bikes were a nice added touch for our stay. The walking/biking paths down there are truly unmatched! The stroll to the beach was super close, shaded by the beautiful trees and the actual beach was never crowded no matter what time of day you were there. I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you Ann for opening up such a lovely home for people to enjoy on the island!

Kiawah Oceanwoods Cottage

We just finished an extended stay at Ann’s wonderful Kiawah cottage in the Oceanwoods development. The location is perfect, providing privacy and easy access to the beach and walk/bike trails. The home is well-equipped and has many updates including bathrooms with walk-in showers and comfort height toilets. Best thing of all is the responsiveness and helpfulness of the owner. Ann was wonderful in making arrangements for a new microwave to be delivered and installed for us very quickly when the old one died. The only thing we really missed was a gas barbecue but there is a charcoal one available for those who like the traditional method of grilling plus a new gas range. We would definitely consider staying at Ann’s cottage again.

Kiawah, home again!

We had a wonderful stay! This will be my 45th year on Kiawah. Our family has always had a place here, but we needed more space this year. Ann is a great host! Check-in is easy. She provides four new adult bicycles that must be put away every night in the storage space and rinsed off before leaving. She has beach chairs, some beach games, sand-making tools, and a great outside shower. The shower on the boardwalk is also excellent. The pathway from her home to the beach is at a dead end, so there is no path noise. Her cottage backs up to a pond/lagoon. We saw deer every morning and evening, many birds, and a couple of alligators. The overhead fans help to keep the home cool. Her pantry was extensive, so take inventory before buying a ton at the store. I did leave her a few new items to replenish. As a local, do not buy food at HT at Fresh Fields, unless you want to pay 25% more. It is super convenient, but head to James Island! We have a great Publix, Harris Teeter, and Walmart. The beds were comfortable. The front bedroom had the most comfortable mattress, but I gave that room to my parents. My three kiddos stayed in the bunk room 10,14, and 18. Everyone seemed happy and slept well. You must bring your own beach towels, paper towels, toilet tissue, Kleenex, hand soap shampoo/conditioner, and body soap for the three bathrooms. Laundry detergent is provided to wash the sheets and towels at the end of your trip. Thank you Ann!

Perfect for Families!

We loved our time in Kiawah Island! The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and just a short 3 minute walk to a wonderful beach. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Instructions were very thorough and Ann was prompt and communicative with any questions I had. Everything is walkable and/or a short bike ride away. There’s also a huge park and playground if you have kids. We hope to come stay again next year! :)

Love this house!

This was our second time staying at this property and it won’t be the last. The location is PERFECT, house very clean upon arrival, and the kitchen is wonderfully stocked for families that love to cook and eat in. My family has been coming to Kiawah for 40 years and this is one of our all time favorite properties!
