Such a great find. In our third year here we've come to love the property and location immensely. So much to do locally. The property is a huge hit for our avid fishing friends. Can't wait until our next visit.

The home is exactly as advertised. Host was attentive and responded in a timely manner to messages. Overall a beautiful rustic cabin. I would stay again.

This cabin by the lake offers everything one could want. It’s in a beautiful setting, has all the modern creature comforts, and is a great place to get away from the world and decompress. There are stores and places to eat nearby, and a wonderful state forest with hiking trails and a picnic area and summer swimming. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I wish I could have stayed longer.

An all around wonderful place to relax, inside and out. Our host Ethan, was very accommodating when needed. My wife did not want to leave and she didn’t have to twist my arm to stay.

Lots of fun activities (fishing, kayaking, peddle boat), pretty scenery (lake, trees, and sunsets), nice hiking trails, golf course, and creamery/mini golf near by.

Cabin in Douglass Mass

We had a great week at this cabin. The setting was beautiful, with some of the best sunsets we’ve ever seen. The cabin was very clean and well-appointed.

Rest and Relaxation

Our stay was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. We fished, watched the sunset and enjoyed each other’s company. The cabin is so adorable and the lake is beautiful and peaceful.

Beautiful lake setting

Rustic Cabin in the Woods

It was a wonderful escape! Cabin was charming and comfortable. The lake was peaceful. Kayaking and fishing were the highlight of our trip. Can’t wait to visit again!

Great Cabin

Great cabin. Plenty of room for us. Clean, quiet, easy access to the water. Comfortable furniture and beds. Decent sized kitchen with a lot of counter space. Had a great time and hope to return.

Perfect Retreat in the Woods

Beautiful quiet property tucked away in the woods and on the lake. Great old log cabin beautifully updated with all the modern conveniences. Perfect location to reach urban activities in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.

Comfy Long Weekend

The log cabin was comfy and had everything you needed for a family getaway. We loved the views and kayaking! The set up for fires at night and grilling were great! You don’t expect AC at a cabin in the woods so that was a lovey amenity!

Cozy getaway by lake

My family and I such a lovely time staying here! The cabin is clean and cozy. We enjoyed watching sunsets by the lake, kayaking, and hung out by the firepit at night. Ethan is a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had. The check in and check out process was straight forward with no hassle. Overall, a perfect spot for some much needed quality time with the fam- highly recommend!

Get away stay

The property is a hidden gem. Our trip turned into a winter wonderland as we had a beautiful snow storm at the time of our stay. The cabin was warm and comfortable. I want to come back for fishing on the lake.

Fun Family Getaway

Cozy rustic log cabin in the woods! My family enjoyed fishing, kayaking, grilling up family dinners, crafting and playing games together. We sat by the fire pit every night roasting s’mores. It was the perfect place to bring our family together! This was our second time staying and we would love to make it a yearly tradition!

This is a truly remarkable property. This is our second year visiting, and everything was absolutely perfect. The cabin is very very clean, has everything you need, and is in a wonderful spot. Our host, Ethan, is always excellent. Takes care of every little detail. If you like peace and quiet, beautiful sunset views over the lake and maybe even a little fishing this is the place for you.

Fantastic cabin on the lake

My family had a great time at this cabin on the lake. The description doesn't do it justice. For instance, you pretty much have the lake to yourself, which appears to be quite well-stocked. The house itself is not huge, but the owners have found a way to make every part count. We had five of us and we fit very comfortably. This is a place to come to contemplate the higher things while basking in the warm glow of a beautiful sunset.

Fantastic spot, Fantastic stay

We visited in August with my sons 18 and 20, and had a fantastic time. This cabin is awesome and in an even more awesome spot. The place was spotless and had everything we needed to be more than comfortable. The location is completely private and you do not see any neighbors at all from the back of the property and the fire pit. The lake is fantastic and very private. I don’t think I saw ten other people the whole time we were there. We fished a lot and caught lots of fish. The small town of Douglas has nice spots to eat and anything else you may need. Ethan was an awesome host and attended to all our needs. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the place.

Great location. Like staying at a friend's cabin on the lake.

We spent the weekend here -- an actual log cabin, with rustic, woodsy charm. We loved it. Sleeping arrangements are a small private bedroom, plus a sleeping porch with a queen bed on one side, bunk beds on the other, a table in the middle, and windows all around. The view of the lake is great and you can walk down to a small dock with kayaks. We spent every evening on the back patio in front of a roaring fire, overlooking the lake. (The owner even provided firewood.) Kitchen is well-appointed, like staying at a friend's house. A few surprising modern touches included fast wireless internet, a TV with apps, and a record player with records to play (and Bluetooth). You share one small bathroom. Owner is friendly and responsive. Location is outstanding, on the edge of a state forest -- we went on two long hikes -- and a short drive to town.
