Georgia's Place at Deep Creek Lake is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. This spacious home offers a wealth of amenities, including community lake access and a nearby dock slip, making it an ideal choice for your vacation.

Awesome game room level with hot tub. Although we didn't use it, the fire pit area was cozy. Really enjoyed walking the trail to the dock. Property was nicely dog friendly and the close by general store and bait shop with wine and beer was awesome. TV set up is a little bit convoluted but we figured it out. The grill has seen some use but worked great.

It was a wonderful stay. Clean, comfortable and cozy. Enough room for seven adults. Easy access to doors and hot tub. Close to all activities and beautiful view. Would definitely come again.

Great location and good proximity to the lake. We were able to easily put our kayaks in the water and hang out on the dock. Walking distance to Deep Creek State Park. There is a small yard for our dogs, but it is quite steep which made it hard to use. It was nice to have at least one bedroom and a bathroom on each level for some privacy. The AC also worked very well, which was a must for us visiting in the summer. Easy check-in and check-out process. We didn’t need to contact the hosts, but they did check in with us a few times, which was nice. Some of the little things could have been upgraded, such as nicer pillows, better paper towels, and more toilet paper. It was also a little tight in the living room with the island, large dining table, and couch. Overall, we had a great time and the location and lake access was definitely a win!

Great stay!! Plenty of room for everyone!! The hot tub was clean and warm!! The property was clean and stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies. A lot of family games. Nearby shops and stores. Very close to Deep Creek State Park. You can see and hear the water from the property. Had a minor issue with hot water. The management was very responsive and maintenance resolved the issue right away. Thank you for a fun and relaxing stay!!!

Phenomenal Stay!

My wife, friends, and I for a total of 9 of us stayed at this beautiful and relaxing place. We had an absolute blast staying here. Between all of us we definitely plan on coming here again. The beds, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, and extra ammenities were superb and fantastic. The house was right now the water which made water activies enjoyable at the lake. Highly, HIGHLY recommend for anyone who thinks about this place when booking a stay at deep creek!

Family Vacation

Great spot on Deep Creek Lake. House was great size for all of us and our dog. Easy walk to the lake and short ride to local stores. House was well stocked. Cleaners could have given a little more attention to under the couches and mold in the showers. Would definitely return to stay at Georgias place.

Our family of eight adults enjoyed our gathering at Georgia’s Place. The house was very clean. The woodsy surrounding is pretty and relaxing. The cozy fire pit is well-appointed. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with pots, pans, bowls, dishes, & flatware. There is convenient overflow parking right near the house - 4 vehicles are allowed in the driveway.We spent a lot of wonderful time on the water in a boat rental, on the spacious & well-furnished decks of the house, & around the fire pit. The birding is great! Be aware that the lake really can’t be seen from the house & fire pit with the thick, leafy woods. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the setting. A starter set of: soap bars, one small roll of thin paper towels, one-ply toilet paper, one dishwasher packet, and two garbage bags per bathroom, & two kitchen garbage bags are provided to get you started. It would be nice to have liquid hand soap provided in the kitchen and bathrooms.Cons: the living room and dining areas are a fair amount smaller than they appear in the pictures. The small kitchen does not handle more than one person at a time very well - a challenge when cooking for a crowd. The grill is ok. We moved meat from the grill to pans on the stove to finish it off due to the weak or huge flames - no in between. The ice maker was non-functional during our stay.Marine rentals don’t allow boats to be docked at the house boat slip due to a low profile bridge at the entrance of the cove the house is on.

House was in a great location! Pictures make it seem bigger than what it is. It was pretty clean for the most part except the layer of accumulated dust on the baseboards/ceiling fans. The internet was out during our entire stay so the TVs didn’t work either since the boxes were WiFi. We tried getting a property manager out to fix the issue but no one ever showed up.

First family lake vaca

The property was in a secluded quiet location. You have to be able to manage your vehicle up and down a large hill. The view is totally wooded. The walk to the water is steep with no steps . Kids had no problem ! But elderly would not make it down . The swimming and fishing pier was great . Just know that if you’re bringing a boat to dock at the slip it has to fit under the bridge to get to location. This information is missing from the listing . You can’t see the pier from the house .

Nice home

Perfect for our Spring break. They hardly give you any supplies.. have to buy dish soap laundry soap trash bags and dishwasher soap and only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. Need new cooking pans. Pretty scraped up. No blender. Can opener does not work. Other than that. It’s a nice spacious house for a vacation! We enjoyed it and it looks like the photos. Loved the jacuzzi.

Lovely lake home and amazing experience

The home was exactly as advertised, extremely clean and well appointed, and amazing communication! Easy keyless check-in so we just showed up and let ourselves in. A starter kit with dishsoap, paper towels ,toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, and a sponge were provided so we didnt have to worry about shopping or unpacking staples immediately. Lovely shaded deck in a quiet area. The path to the dock is less than a minute walk and convenient- we rented a two person kayak to be delivered to the house and we enjoyed be able to take it right down and launch right at the propert edge. Very pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing, family friendly lakefront rental that's close to anything you could want to do.
