This is a great camping spot with all the amenities except WIFI. It is on the water and the beach is right across the street. Great seafood and breakfast and ice cream shop within walking distance.

Very nice property with a nice pole barn that kept the direct sun off the RV for most of the day. Great dock for fishing or launching kayak. Walking distance to both the general store and the seafood market. A little bit of an adventure to get to the beach.

Reminds me of camping in Florida in my teens -plus water, electric, septic, a pole barn with awesome shade, and a dock with awesome shade. It was a little tricky to find the fishing angles off the dock, but we figured it out. There are some muddy spots if you venture out into the water. A stand up paddle board SUP helps.

Awesome piece of property and close to all your needs and the beach & right on the Bay with a small ramp , a large deck with a gazebo and a fish cleaning station. Ample parking. The only downside is if you have anything larger than a 26’ you will play heck getting backed into the spot. Trees and bushes need a serious trimming to make this an ease. Drive thru is questionable unless you have a four wheel drive and the right tires. Very heavy sandy area makes it difficult to drive thru…… this is my second year camping here, the only improvement would be to get an cable box for your campers to hook up to PLEASE, I look forward to staying here again in the future…. Thank you for a great vacation

Great place to camp

Close to everything on the island, close to port St. Joe, Polebarn keeps you out of the direct sunlight, great fishing in the bay and to bird watch, fish jumping ect.. could have asked for a better vacation with family ❤️🙏

Fresh seafood market was .3 miles away. Easy walk or bike ride. Also, ocean front park with swimming pool was 8/car. Super nice.

Amazing Property

This is our second year staying here and it couldn’t be any better. It is convenient to either end of the Cape and centrally located the both stores and icecream shop. You have the convenience of being on the bayside w/Dock and across the street to the beach. Looking forward to staying there again…..

Will continue to come back!

This has been our third time staying here in 3 years. We love the site and the view of Pig Island. Would definitely recommend, especially if you enjoy kayaking. The owner is very responsive.

Fall Getaway

This is our second time at this place, and we love it!! It is so peaceful and private, but still so close to everything!! The private dock on the bay side is so awesome & we can walk across the road to beach in 5 minutes ❤️ We generally spend our beach time at the State Park, or drive down to the stump hole to look for shells, Can’t wait To return!

Great private RV site with bay access

The property and the location were great. There is a very nice dock with fish washing station and great view. The rv site is covered which helps with the July heat. We will be back.

This site was perfect. Camper under pole barn was fantastic. Dock was great. Kayak launch was exactly what I needed. Trout were biting. Scallops were plentiful. I will be back. Love Port St Joe & Cape San Blas. This is now my go to site.

Best camping spot ever! Beautiful bay front with awesome sunrises. Just across the street from the Gulf for spectacular sunsets. Best host ever! Trip got cut short due to Hurricane Helene but we will be back.

Great weekend stay

Convenient location, very spacious property. Great dock with amazing wildlife all around. We even saw the flamingos that blew in from Idalia about 40 yards away! The weather didn’t cooperate the way we wished but it wasn’t a problem with the pole barn and covered dock. Loved it.

Relaxing

This is the perfect place, so much privacy and lots of space!! We enjoyed the dock and my husband enjoyed fishing, we drove to the State Park to enjoy beach time we like the Staye Park as there is less people and no driving on the beach. The only downfall and it is small was we had to park our camper with the door facing the road because of the hookups, but that was minor!! We will definitely be back, love this little piece of paradise❤️

Great campsite, but…

Overall this is a great campsite. We would definitely stay here again. However a couple of items… 1. I love to fish and I have a large (13’6”, 140ish lb loaded) fishing kayak. What attracted me to this camp site was the kayak dock. Launching and recovering a large kayak was difficult at best. The path down to the kayak dock definitely needs to be widened and improved. I was having to drag my kayak through the brush and over exposed roots just to get to the kayak dock. Also, just as a warning (not much the owner can do to improve this), but if the tides aren’t cooperative and you have to launch at low tide times, you’ll have to drag your kayak through 30’ of knee deep muck to get to floatable water. 2. A warning about the loose sand around the campsite would be helpful. I did get my truck stuck. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and being kind of in the middle of the cape made it easy to ride our bikes to the stores and restaurants.

Love this spot for accessing the bay side. The beach across the street is severely eroded, but it's a short 2 mi drive to the public beach access on the north cape. It's a little tight for big rigs but I was able to get my 43.5' class A in and out. When leaving I had to stop traffic on Cape San Blas Rd. and back out of the property. Still, it is a very nice place to stay

This site was very private and convenient to everything Cape San Blas!You can sit on the dock and watch the fish jump at sunset or go to the nearby park and catch the sunset.We loved it and look forward to our next visit!

My wife and I love exploring new areas and enjoying the outdoors. After coming to Cape San Blas we loved the country feel and the amazing natural beauty of the area.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

We love the water and the bay is phenomenal for fishing, kayaking, scalloping and sight seeing. This property offered the best of both worlds, kayaking the bay and a short walk to enjoy the Gulf of Mexico and is close to convenient shops.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

Having direct access to the Bay is wonderful, it makes getting in and out easy as well as place to relax which usually has a bit a breeze. The property is large allowing plenty of room for outdoor activities.
